  1. I just can see him leaving unless the bills don’t really want him. The #1 thing an OC would want is a star QB. That’s what gets them the head coaching gig in the future (see daboll). We have one, the giants do not.
  2. I am not one to complain about commentating. I don't know that I have ever really had an issue with anyone in the 25 year period I have watched every bills game. Last night was atrocious. From the very first minute of the game Collinsworth seemed committed to putting a chiefs spin on the game. It felt like I was watching the local broadcast of a hockey game. It was bizarre, annoying and unprofessional.
  3. The biggest factors in this game to me was: 1. Allen moving in the pocket. Its obvious that they were letting Chase Young speed rush and the plan was to just push him as deep as possible and let Josh step up. I have no idea why Young or the WFT coaches didn't mix it up more and have Young try tow work more inside. 2. The Bills strong defensive play
  4. This has been a rough start for Allen, Daboll and perhaps the WR's. I have not noticed nearly the amount of separation we consistently saw last year (either as a function of play design and/or receiver's winning their routes). However, Allen has missed on the few open shots he has had. All parties need to step it up Big time....
  5. My one concern with the contract was that he only had one elite year. I wouldn’t be worried, except for that we paid up big time for an MVP quality QB, and with his impending cap hit, we need consistent MVP quality play. I hope, and think, he turns it around. His work ethic and love of football gives me confidence. However, if you are not concerned then your delusional.
  6. This is looking like year 1/2 Allen. Hi m sure he will turn it around.
  7. I pray they don’t get Watson. Tua is the perfect qb to wasted three years trying to develope and going nowhere.
  8. michael Thomas vs. the Saints has so much weird and crazy drama, I can’t believe they have kept this relatively “in-house”
  9. Yes he did. my groomsmen was 4 year younger than me, he was my Nextdoor neighbor growing up. I graduated college in 2016.
  10. I really think I more athletic, less of a dick Rosen. Ironically, a louder Sam Darnold isn’t a bad one. Who knows though, he could be great.
  11. That he was very talented and a gamer, but that he was not sure he was football 24/7. He said he was not sure he would take the challenges/failures that will may come at the next level and use them as fire to get better. That if he came into the NFL and lit in on fire, then he will flourish, but he stated he was skeptical that if the going go tough, that he would work even harder and get better.
  12. I’m not going to continue to repeat myself. I think he is putting in effort - I don’t think he is jamarcus Russell. But, I don’t think he has that “it” Factor that drives guys to be elite. Very few do (I don’t). I don’t know the guy, but one of my groomsmen was on the BYU football team with him. I’m not stating that it is a fact he will bust, just the vibe I get, so you can relax.
  13. I gave you an example, Rosen. There are countless others. Wilson strikes me as someone who expects to be good, as if his draft status and skill level is enough. I don’t think he has that chip on his shoulder, obsessed with greatness, attitude that the greats tend to have.
  14. When did I say he didn’t put effort into his craft? What a ridiculous lack of reading comprehension. You don’t get to be a 1st round pick without puting in effort. Josh Rosen put effort into his craft, but was entitled, and busted. There is a huge difference between working at your craft and being obsessed with it (a la Brady, Rodgers and even our josh).
  15. I could 100% be wrong, but everything about him (his disposition, his family, even his play) screams entitled bust. I see him being a complete bust.
  16. This is a huge year for Josh. He played elite last year, but franchise QB’s string great years together. I’m confident, but we need to see repeated success. If he is truly elite (which I think he is), so many good things fall into place.
  17. Again, I question your reading comprehension. I never said anything about the criticism I was referring to being exclusive to this board. I was referring to the criticism he is receiving everywhere (News, Social Media, Ect.)
  18. This is incorrect reading comprehension on your part. I said “largely” not “exclusively”. I too am no intolerant liberal, but I am critical of Cole so I don’t see your point.
  19. because that’s largely who are attacking Cole. There are certainly a plethora of judgmental conservators with zero tolerance for alternative perspectives too, they just aren’t relevant to the Cole Beasley conversation.
  20. Do I completely disagree with his position, no. I’m fairly open minded on the topic. The issue is that he does not defend his position in a particularly intelligent or logical fashion. IMO he is a poor voice for the conversation, because he is ill-informed, misinformed, and blinded by ideology. This is an unfortunate pattern in many anti-vax or anti-COVID-vax people, which makes an intelligent and objective dialogue about the subject impossible. Note: I have not gotten a vaccine yet, so I am not a judgmental liberal with zero tolerance for alternative perspectives.
  21. while I would love this to be true, I don’t really see it. Rousseau played at about 246 and Calais played at close to 290. Even with a full year of bulking, Greg was about 25 lighter on draft day. Maybe Greg can grow into his body, but Calais was an much bigger as a draft prospect.
  22. As a bills fan, I love it. I really believe that there is an equally good chance that Darnold is a franchise QB as Wilson. I would have feared the jets much more if they kept Darnold and got a ton of talent to move the 2nd overall pick.
  23. I love Sanders. As an SMU alum, I have followed his career closely and have a great deal of respect for the person and player. With that said, while I think Sanders could be a valuable piece to this team, I still feel we could really use a field stretcher and Sanders is not that. However, I think Beane may prioritize WR ability to get separation via elite route running and I can't say I disagree, as this is a more challenging thing to defend than one-trick pony speed (john ross).
