  1. Better without the version of Diggs we saw the 2nd half of the season and the playoffs...
  2. I went to a Bills game in New Orleans a couple of years ago. Bills fans took that city over. I got hundreds of "Go Bills". New Orleans fans were good sports, but I think they were a little shocked how many Bills fans there were. And the Bills stomped the Saints, so it was a great time. I live in Louisiana. I'll get the occasional "Go Bills", but it is not a daily thing.
  3. He's not old. I don't know why people keep saying that.
  4. Not a fan of matte helmets. I like glossy paint better.
  5. I'll be at this game. Honestly, I think Diggs will be just a role player for them. I don't see him being their primary weapon. The Texans have a few good receivers. But, maybe they give him a bigger role against the Bills? But, Josh is a QB and he has a greater impact on the field than any receiver. He'll have a bigger game.

    Matt Araiza

We have a punter on our roster right now who broke Araiza's record for punt average at San Diego State... Jack Browning.
  7. His average is pretty bad, but he has a big leg.
  8. I think they have a name for that... prostitution 😉
  9. It's a lot easier if you can include coaches. Doug Marrone: he just loved himself. And you could tell the players hated him. He was this offensive line "guru", but the line and the entire offense sucked under him. Rex Ryan: all the antics and bluster, but he wasn't willing to put in the work to produce a good team. He took a great defense and destroyed it, when that was supposed to be his area of expertise, and blamed everyone else for it. Marcel Dareus: off the field incidents, lack of motivation, and wasted talent. Kelvin Benjamin: he was fat and lacked motivation. You could tell he didn't put in the work in any way. Honorable mentions: Aaron Maybin, Percy Harvin, Dick Jauron, Greg Williams, Anquan Boldin, Vontae Davis, Sammy Watkins.
  10. He's been getting a ton of cash every year, though. They are taking care of him. They'll rework his contract in the next couple of years, probably.
  11. He has barely done anything for the team yet. There is no reason to have this conversation.
  12. All these guys are why the rookie wage scale is smart for the NFL.
  13. Not sure why he called him diminutive.
  14. I remember the days when it wasn't and teams had to shell out real cash for their draft picks, many of whom became busts. The rookie wage scale was a significant change. Sam Bradford was one of the last big contracts before the rookie wage scale, I think. That guy got so much money for doing so little in the NFL. Over $130 million over his career. Highway robbery.
  15. I had a friend who was a state champion wrestler in high school. I was bigger and stronger than him, and more athletic too. I tried wrestling him a couple of times, just for fun. I don't know anything about wrestling except the basics. I can tell you I was completely helpless against him no matter what I did. Even when he tried to teach me counters and defenses for things, it didn't matter. I felt like a toddler. It really opened my eyes. Nothing I did mattered. My strength didn't matter. It was super cool just to see the expertise of someone in their element. Every other sport I could dominate him though.
  16. Cam got beat up in the pocket. I don't get how people don't understand this by now. His injuries were not from running the football.
  17. The NFL is full of physical freaks. It is the mental side and your drive to be great that truly make the difference long term. Watkins had all the physical tools, but he was a bit of a head case and he got injured a lot early in his career. I don't think he had the mental fortitude to overcome all the adversity. Other teams tried to use him too, and he had his moments, but none of them could get him to realize his upside either.
  18. They are just reading into answers and trying to extract as much controversy as they can. Just sports media being sports media. That being said, I'm glad we have Josh Allen and not Jalen Hurts.
  19. He is a quality head coach. And consistently fields competitive teams even when he seems to lack firepower.
  20. They don't need any, but it is something they do and it does seem to impact players. They often want to rise to that level of responsibility and be seen as good captains. But it's just one more thing for angsty fans to complain about, I guess.
  21. Offense: Allen, Dawkins, Shakir Defense: Bernard, Johnson, Milano Teams: Hollins, Gilliam
  22. You think college coaches are trying to get their players ready to be pros? They are trying to win football games! That's all.
  23. Yeah, Wade is an excellent coach. I'm very surprised that he isn't still a defensive coordinator in the NFL. I guess teams get sick of the retreads and want the next new thing, and then quality coaches like Wade get overlooked.
