  1. Anyone notice how Bill Belichick rushed over to shake Peyton Manning's hand? Brady saw and put his head down and turned away. It's so hilarious how much bad blood there is between Brady, Belichick, and Kraft. Belichick wanted nothing to do with getting up there with Kraft, but he had to.
  2. Agreed. He's so fake, too. Just says whatever he can to try to get people to like him.
  3. Yeah, I just didn't want to have to vote for one of those receivers because I'd rather not have any of them.
  4. I can't vote because there isn't a "None of the above" option.
  5. But only for a few minutes.
  6. It's a good idea. Some days I open up TBD, scan all the topics and see none are new (besides some dumb ones) and leave.
  7. Let's see if Bass has it fixed. If not, they can bring in kickers to compete.
  8. Ok. Well, I don't expect him to supplant Cook, so that's why he was lower on my list. But we're all just guessing anyway.
  9. Ingram was pretty good in preseason. But they also might add someone between now and the start of the season.
  10. Nope. And I am not really into getting anyone's autograph. They are just people.
  11. Yeah, I just had him lower because he is the backup to Cook and I am not sure if he will ever supplant him while Cook is here. But I think he'll still have an impact.
  12. 1. Coleman 2. Bishop 3. Van Pran 4. Solomon 5. Carter 6. Ulofoshio 7. Hardy 8. Davis 9. Grable 10. Clayton
  13. Yeah, that's the only thing that really annoys me. He does whine and complain when things aren't going his way. But plenty of QB's are like that. Our own Josh Allen complains to the refs plenty enough. I dislike that we can't beat the Chiefs in the playoffs. That sucks. But I don't hold anything against Mahomes. Good for him that he is so talented. Tom Brady was different. He was a d-bag. Always whining and complaining, always screaming on the sidelines. Not giving handshakes when he loses. He was a pompous, smug QB who I couldn't stand. BUT I still respect his accomplishments and since he left New England, I don't hate him so much. And now he is friends with Josh...
  14. As much as Brady? That's crazy talk.
  15. I'm more concerned about the Jets because I have no idea how Rodgers and their offense will be, plus their defense always gives the Bills some problems. Same Dolphins, different year. They are the same team.
  16. Everyone is bigger, faster, stronger, and smarter at the NFL level. It is hard to know who is truly a difference maker when they are going up against lesser opponents in college. That's why there is a 50% miss rate in the 1st round, and much worse in later rounds. It is literally a flip of the coin. Even "can't miss" prospects are misses all the time. It is pretty incredible when rookies come in and perform at a high level like CJ Stroud last year, or Puka Nacua. But often it is because coaches put them in positions to succeed and they have proper support around them. So much depends on where you land.
  17. Quinton Morris is a pretty excellent 3rd TE, in my opinion.
  18. Buffalo had a superstar receiver in Diggs and a guy they really liked in Gabe Davis. They believed Davis would develop, but he never really did. Still, he left and signed a pretty big contract in free agency. And Diggs fell off a cliff in the middle of last year. The Bills signed Curtis Samuel and drafted a receiver with their first pick this year. That is good investment this year. And previous years it was not as much of a need because of what they had in Diggs and Davis. Plus they had Shakir and drafted Kincaid in the first round last year to be a weapon for the passing game. For KC and Baltimore it has been a huge, glaring need for them. That is why they invested so much recently. The Bills weren't in that position.
  19. Samuel is the speed guy. No need to even talk much about the depth receivers who will rarely, if ever, be on the field.
  20. Of the four teams who made it to the conference championship game last year, three of them had fairly weak receiver rooms. The fourth is the 49ers, who were loaded with weapons, but also had the most limited of the QBs. If anything, the Bills are current with NFL trends and fans are behind in their thinking.
  21. It will be really interesting watching Shakir and Bernard step into leadership roles. They look like great guys. They work hard and focus on football. Looks like they aren't out there partying at all, which is great.
  22. RG3 kind of seems fake to me. Not a fan. But Coleman was good. He seems focused and mature.
  23. Yeah, and I expect him to be moved around a lot. Not an exclusive outside guy, or slot guy.
  24. Not necessarily over anyone. But he would be an outside receiver while Shakir and Samuel both take a lot of slot targets. And Samuel probably has the gadget and screen play targets too. But I'm not advocating for Zay Jones. I don't really want to sign him.
  25. Allen doesn't seem like the kind who is demanding anything. Just giving his input. And it can go both ways. Beane can tell him, "Here are the receivers we like, and this is why." It is a collaborative process, I'm sure.
