How close is Allen to Mahomes if all things were equal?
MJS replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Mahomes is the best. But honestly, why does it matter? There is a little too much obsession with ranking one above the other. -
2020 against the Chiefs.

Name one player you hope you are wrong about...
MJS replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
Pat Mahomes. I'm hoping he actually sucks. Maybe this will be the year for him to show his true colors. -
Yes, he has been to a conference championship game. Did you forget about that? All those are great coaches, potentially. Some of them have to show they can do it for more than a year or two. But McDermott has done more for longer than all of them, in a harder conference than the NFC guys. I don't really buy the conjecture that he has underperformed or that others could have done more with this team. Or that Josh Allen is the only reason. That's pure speculation based off nothing but opinion. Wins are wins. Playoff wins are playoff wins. Division titles are division titles. That's mainly what matters to me. The Bills have been a top team for many years and McDermott is the leader of the team. Period.

Been there done that with McDermott. He has done all of that and more.

The Bills have over $10 million in cap space- what is Beane’s plan?
MJS replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Use it if they need it. Let whatever is left over to roll over to next year. Luckily, that is cap exempt. -
I use AI in my job all the time. It is a time saver, but humans still need to check everything. It still gets things wrong all the time. But AI is getting better and better.

Sunday Ticket lawsuit alleges price fixing by the NFL
MJS replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall
Unfortunately, this is the attitude of many people. Anyone who makes more money than them must have done so by corrupt means. Punish them because they are rich and corrupt. It's just nonsense. Either they broke the law or they didn't. How much money they make is irrelevant. -
Sunday Ticket lawsuit alleges price fixing by the NFL
MJS replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall
"The NFL also has argued that exclusive TV deals are protected by the Sports Broadcasting Act, which the league said “grants an antitrust exemption for the sale of ‘all or any part’ of broadcasting rights.”" Is this true? If so, what is the argument that the NFL broke the law? -
He's not. He is 9-7.

I'm not saying they aren't good coaches. They all are. But they have no business being ranked ahead of Sean McDermott. BTW, LaFleur is 17-17 without Rodgers. Being a .500 coach isn't really anything special. He did win a playoff game last year, though. We'll see how the Packers do this year. They appear to be a talented young team, and they are in the weaker conference.

Interesting Bills storylines to watch during training camp
MJS replied to ryguy101's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's why I say keep them in bubble wrap. We know what they are. We don't have anything else to learn about them. -
And what's that?
-
Ok, what have Dan Campbell, Matt Lafleur, DeMeco Ryans, and Kevin Stefanski accomplished to be ranked ahead of McDermott?

According to PFF Connor McGovern is good
MJS replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed. We went through years of bad oline play with last year being the first year of good oline play in awhile. Metrics aside, it was pretty noticeable how much better the line was last year just from watching. -
According to PFF Connor McGovern is good
MJS replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not really. McGovern sat out the 2019 season in Dallas and when he got on the field in 2020 the Cowboys were set at center so he played 14 games at right guard, then switched over to left guard in 2021 and 2022. With Dallas he started 29 games and he played center only in a pinch for about 100 snaps. He was never tried at center seriously, only moved there due to positional emergencies. The most important thing is the center/QB exchange, and that takes repetitive reps in practice to get right. He never had the proper preparation in Dallas for center. -

5th and 6th, but the Bills gave a 7th as well. -
You think Tom Brady would ever debase himself by becoming a lowly QB coach?
-
It really didn't. He has had the same type of issues dating back to his high school days. He has been a POS forever.

I say keep Milano and Von Miller wrapped in as much bubble tape as possible. Obviously, they'll need to get ready for football and get in football shape, but don't risk them unnecessarily. I wouldn't play either of them in preseason games. -
Yardage Predictions for Bills Receivers in 2024
MJS replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Here's my prediction: Shakir: 800 yards Samuel: 800 yards Kincaid: 700 yards Coleman: 650 yards Knox: 400 yards Cook: 400 yards MVS: 400 yards All the rest will account for about 300 or 400 more yards or so. I think some are expecting a bigger year from Kincaid, but I expect the Bills to get Knox more involved and that it will be good for the offense, but eat into Kincaid's production a little. -
Ed Oliver has some elite traits, but also some physical limitations. That's why he makes splash plays at times, but dissappears sometimes as well. I think, ultimately, he is a very good player, but I wouldn't say he is elite.

Better without the version of Diggs we saw the 2nd half of the season and the playoffs... -
Post Your Fav “Go Bills” Moments Here! (Includes Poll).
MJS replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall
I went to a Bills game in New Orleans a couple of years ago. Bills fans took that city over. I got hundreds of "Go Bills". New Orleans fans were good sports, but I think they were a little shocked how many Bills fans there were. And the Bills stomped the Saints, so it was a great time. I live in Louisiana. I'll get the occasional "Go Bills", but it is not a daily thing.
