  1. I predict... game day inactive.
  2. I don't usually question injury issues for players. I know how hard it is to play injured. But the Michael Thomas situation the past two years is just strange. He basically missed most of 2020 with an ankle sprain. Misses 2021 after an ankle surgery (why didn't he have it done sooner if it was that bad? And why did it take a full year to come back from?). And again this year, he is injured and misses a bunch of weeks, then decides to get surgery, ensuring he'll miss the rest of the season. So, he basically missed 3 seasons because of a sprained ankle and a dislocated toe. That's not normal, I don't think.
  3. I feel like he has been doing his best to collect his paychecks the past two years and play as little as possible.
  4. Just admit it. You know nothing about the South.
  5. This. There are places in this country where football at all levels is revered and will continue to be until the end of time. In the South Football is like a religion.
  6. Oh, he for sure embellishes hits. And he certainly complains to refs for calls. He is an NFL quarterback. They all do it, or at least the good ones do. Allen has admitted to holding onto the ball a little longer to try to get a hit and draw a roughing penalty. We've seen him embellish hits on the sideline, or go down after a small hit after a throw. He for sure does it. BUT I agree that it is nothing different about him. Allen doesn't do it more than other QB's.
  7. The Bills already have one of the best pressure rates in the league, so there is no need to blitz. Getting pressure without blitzing is the gold standard for defenses.
  8. I think Joe has his biases and I doubt sometimes that he actually watches each player. My guess is he watches the entire oline at once to save time. He always has a few head scratchers each week. Also, grades are a very subjective thing, especially for the oline.
  9. He said multiple times that he has "a long way to go", so that makes me feel like he probably won't be playing any time soon. But I guess we'll see. Maybe part of getting to 100% includes some game reps. I got the sense that he is in no rush. Obviously the team is never in a rush to get players back from injury either. So, the process will be as long and drawn out as they want, I suppose. Pretty different from most other teams who seem to rush players back and maybe players feel the need to rush back on those teams. I do know this: you have no business stepping on an NFL field unless you are 100% confident in your abilities and your body. If you are hesitant, that's a risk. If you are compensating for something, that's an injury risk. I get the sense Tre White is not 100% confident yet.
  10. Not a big fan of the blue on blue, but whatever. I don't think of that at all when the game is on.
  11. It worked out for Allen. That would have been a sucky situation to be in. Allen got to come here and have stability. Of course, he had virtually no offensive talent around him, but at least he had a stable front office and coaches committed to his development.
  12. At the time it was seen as a good pick.
  13. I wondered if this would happen. It will be interesting to see if he gets playing time.
  14. Pretty impressive by Dorsey, honestly. He is coming up with some interesting schemes and play calls in the run game. Obviously, the pass game has been top notch too.
  15. OK, let me ask you this: what does your fact mean about Marlowe, and do you think it has a real impact on what he is as a player and how he will perform in the future?
  16. One play in one game is not indicative of anything. That's why that fact is irrelevant.
  17. It's not the fact, it is the relevancy of the fact. Your fact is not really relevant or meaningful.
  18. They have masters degrees in Google and Wild Speculation.
  19. Tough year for Poyer on the injury front, but he is still playing great football. He has 4 INT's after missing a game and being limited in others.
  20. Just Google it. His many issues are well documented.
  21. There could be a whole book series, one from each owner. Snyder is one of the worst of them, though.
  22. The Bills are turning the ball over a lot this year. I hope they can clean that up before the playoffs.
  23. I like smart football. Don't be careless. Don't take unnecessary risks. Try not to turn over the ball. Other than that, full throttle ahead. You can be smart and still aggressive. But also, be willing to change things up if things aren't working.
  24. My bad, I quoted the wrong post. Meant to quote the one where he said the Dolphins are pound for pound a better roster.
  25. You said they have a better roster than the Bills. That's ridiculous. Dolphins are a decent team, but they aren't the Bills. The Bills have elite players in Allen, Diggs, Miller, and White, plus probably the deepest roster in the league. The Dolphins are ascending, but they aren't close. BTW, Chubb is not that good. He is a decent starter. Both our starting pass rushers are better than him.
