  1. So? The Bills had nothing for 20 years. Carr is an average QB.
  2. Either way, the Chiefs needed a field goal to take the lead. That's why I think it was a dumb decision. It getting 2 versus 1 doesn't really change much. Not getting 1 changes a lot. But the Raiders got a stop, so we'll see what happens.
  3. Carr isn't that good, that's why.
  4. I'm not sure they even do there. I'd have to see it. People just automatically say that when it is a 4th and short or a 2-point conversion.
  5. What idiots. Tie the game. How does a two point conversion change anything? The Chiefs still would have needed to drive for a field goal. So stupid. There is still 4 minutes on the clock!
  6. They talked about the bad weather games in Buffalo the past couple of years, which is a fact. Buffalo has had a bunch of bad weather games the past couple of years.
  7. He started downvoting all my posts for some reason. Pretty funny, actually.
  8. Again!?
  9. Yeah, the NFL would take that to their grave. They would never admit they were wrong on something like that. The "clear and obvious" thing is stupid anyway, because it is pretty clear and obvious that he did AT LEAST have joint possession with the defender, which means the tie should go to the receiver. I don't know how much more clear and obvious it can be.
  10. Well, I think once you have established possession and become a runner (which does not apply to this situation), if the ball is ripped out by another player and they take possession, that's a fumble, even if the ball doesn't hit the ground. It can't possibly be an interception after possession is already established. It would be a fumble.
  11. Davis had it, then Fitzpatrick grabbed it into his body, but Davis never let the ball go. He still had his arms and hands on it the entire time. At this point I think it was shared possession, which goes to the receiver anyway. All doubt was gone once Davis ripped the ball away for sole possession.
  12. And many starting defenders as well, at least that first one.
  13. Not sure what the blocking assignments were. That's what is hard about these plays. But the play worked out.
  14. How do they get the 32nd pick? Do you mean the 1st pick?
  15. This is what I tried to say a couple of weeks ago. People seem to think all these teams are trying to trade their best players all the time. I see no indication that the Giants want to trade Barkley, or that they believe they can't succeed now and in the future.
  16. Well, I think the real issue is people making a big deal about a tenth of a second difference between some of these guys. A 4.5 is not much different than a 4.4. And you are never just running in a straight line on a football field anyway. You are fighting off press coverage, running routes, reading the zones, hand fighting with defenders, etc. So, yeah, a 4.3 is faster than a 4.4, a little, but it is not significantly faster in field results and there are countless other factors to consider with deep ball success. I think the #1 and #2 attributes are route running and ball tracking. I played some receiver growing up and tracking the deep ball was very difficult for me. It's a real skill.
  17. But it did go over the post, so it's not a doink.
  18. It's the rule.
  19. That's the rule. The ball can pass over the upright and count as good.
  20. Nah, all you need to do is blame Edmunds and McDermott for every bad thing, and praise Allen and Beane for every good thing.
  21. Really? I don't think you can compare them like that. Kelly threw for 4 TD's in a single half too, you know, and he played in an era where defenders could actually hit the QB. And he got the team to 4 superbowls... Allen is special. Kelly was special. I think Allen will supplant Kelly as the best QB in franchise history, but he has a ways to go still.
  22. Chatting is LITERALLY his job.
  23. I don't think we should be basing what our team needs off of how well we do against a 1-4 team. So you noticed a lot of completions over the middle today, right? More than normal? Their rookie QB threw for over 300 yards against us.
  24. He did fine.
