He got upended on that play. He didn't try to leap.

I hope that Beane stops listening to McDermott when drafting

And one of the best offensive lines this year. -

I can see that, but I still think it is a poor trend of shooting yourself in the foot with all these execution issues. But there isn't much you can do with the bad calls or the unlucky breaks. -

The NFL standard is that one team loses and one team wins. How have the Bills not been up to the NFL standard? And every loss has been close. That is better than getting blown out every loss. -
He certainly did not deserve it, too. His stats were not on par with other prop bowl QB's.

That can be said by all of the losses this year, though. They were all winnable games. Just too many mistakes and bad breaks. -
Backup QB is the least of our worries.
-
He was clearly terrible. They just should have stuck with Wilson.

Locked On Bills goes over next year's cap situation in the latest episode. Doing the easy, obvious restructures and moves gets the Bills to 20+ million in cap space. They can easily get more than that with other moves, including extensions and cuts. The Bills are fine. Beane knows what he is doing. https://open.spotify.com/episode/0MT1OvOBUBgbmk6J5iYA6D?si=hoRtIDpVSVyU1qrRTzUbeQ

Of all the joke calls in the league this year, this is the worst IMO.

Yes. Don't be an idiot and you won't get kicked out of games. That's the precedent. -

Both of them got kicked out. Both of them were wrong. This is much ado about nothing. -
Chance of Playoffs now, according to NYT simulator

The Bills don't usually do that, so what are you talking about? -
The rest are.

Don't forget the child abuse.

Well, he is a friend of Tyreek Hill... I wouldn't expect Hill to be friends with an actual good person.
-
Metcalf is good. I don't know how he disappears for games, though.
-
Of course. Anyone who believed otherwise is deluding themselves.

They've been saying this since 2020. It'll be fine.

Do you notice how most of those on that list below Josh Allen are from different eras of the game? Allen has a high INT% this year. He is at 3.0, which is bad in today's NFL. In my opinion, you want to be at 2.5 or under, which other years he has been. Clearly, it is too much this year. Of QB's who have started 11 or more games this year, only Mac Jones has a higher INT%.

Interesting. Marino mentioned the leverage of the defender and stuff like that, but he also didn't sound too sure.
-
I believe someone said he was in there for 87 of the 95 offensive snaps. Something like that. The broadcast just pointed it out every single time, so it seemed like more than it was.

If we win out...what is impact on coaching decisions?
MJS replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
I couldn't finish because question 2 does not have enough options. I believe McDermott is safe even if the Bills don't make the playoffs. I believe he will be give at least one more year barring a complete meltdown for the rest of the season. If they end with more wins than losses, I think it is all but a guarantee he will be back. -
Well, it's officially a problem. McDermott needs to find a way to get his unit to perform late in games. He is the defensive coordinator. It is up to him to figure out. Even with all the injuries, the defense should at least be average. The team as a whole lacks discipline and fundamentals, which are things McDermott supposedly preaches. Somehow that message is not getting across.
