Bills’ Von Miller has two word update on his return from ACL tear
MJS replied to Starr Almighty's topic in The Stadium Wall
If he is all healed up and ready to go, there isn't really a reason to keep him out, though. -
Oh, I'm sure you've been counting the hours and minutes...

NFL coach ‘not sure’ Bills’ Josh Allen can consistently win as a passer
MJS replied to sonyab1974's topic in The Stadium Wall
Belichick knows better than any coach out there how elite Josh Allen is. -

Allen is an elite passer. If he never ran again he would still be among the best QB's in the game.- 148 replies

Yes, people who say this are hyper focused on Elam and Cook and not considering previous years where clearly rookies have been major contributors and sometimes given starting jobs immediately. It is a false and lazy narrative.

Is Matt Barkley a better fit than Kyle Allen in this offense?
MJS replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe pick up a vet who gets cut. Neither of them inspire any confidence. -
You are comparing a 5th round pick who never played to a 1st round pick who saw regular playing time last year and who is getting tons of 1st team reps in camp? What is the similarity here? What a moronic take.

It's a big stretch to say he was a hall of fame talent. Getting into the hall of fame requires supreme talent, longevity, and elite stats for a long time. Sometimes that isn't even enough. The NFL is littered with failed talents like Dareus. Supremely gifted athletes who don't put in the work, aren't smart enough, or get injured too much to have a great career. Dareus is not unique. There are thousands of other players like that. He is more normal and typical than a guy who puts it all together and has a hall of fame career. I also think he benefited a lot from playing with a very talented defensive line with the Bills.

What Would Happen if the Bills Cut Damar Hamlin? (Dan Patrick)
MJS replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hamlin is good enough to make the team, in my opinion. -
I thought it was a terrible hire for the Broncos and was not surprised by how terrible he did. I think he is not qualified to be an offensive coordinator either, but I think it is less x's and o's and more his temperament and leadership ability, or lack thereof. But Rodgers likes him, so he has that going for him.

Outside of MLB, Where are the Bills Worse in 2023?
MJS replied to jwhit34's topic in The Stadium Wall
Fred Jackson was way bigger than Cook. Slenderness does matter. Some short running backs can block well because they have a low center of gravity, but they are still built pretty solidly. -

I'm not sure Singletary was excellent at pass blocking, but he was good. I'm not sure Cook is who you want out there for pass blocking. He is more slender. I'm sure Harris and Murray know what they are doing with pass blocking. -

MJS replied to jwhit34's topic in The Stadium Wall
The team is objectively better at nearly every position group. RT and MLB are the big question marks. Can Spencer Brown take the next step? Who will play MLB? Outside of that, the Bills are deeper everywhere. I get there is concern about WR, but it is still better than last year, plus we added a high-end pass catcher at TE. If everyone thought the Bills were good going into last season, they should be even more confident now. The team is better, and healthy. The health of the team was a big hurdle last year. -
How Is Everyone Finding Updated Information?
MJS replied to CABraves-BillsFanSince1992's topic in The Stadium Wall
I just listen to podcasts and read things on here. It's not that important to me to have immediate updates. Reading and listening at the end of the day is good enough for me. One Bills Live and Locked on Bills are daily and give all the updates. -
You are basing your entire opinion of a player based on limited preseason snaps in their rookie year? Just brutal.
-
He barely played last year. How could have any opinion about him? He played 12 snaps on defense!

Josh Allen's Revenge on Peter King (Pretty funny)
MJS replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall
Funny, but I think he was in on it the 2nd video. -
Yes, Joe Marino has been very vocal about Davis and his limitations as a #2 receiver, so it was good to hear some praise from him.
-
It was the Philly Special, which is absolutely a play that they need to practice. Tarron Johnson should not have hit Allen. That's on him. Don't blame Dorsey. Blame Johnson for ignoring the red non-contact jersey.

Maybe fair, but I think White plays a more premium position and has been better at his position than Milano has when looking at their careers, but it is close. Nobody can argue that Milano hasn't been more impactful over the last two seasons, for sure. I believe White will get back to form, and all indications are that he is looking really good so far in camp.

Tre White, too, probably.

Football players should be doing everything they can to protect their brains.

Eli Apple signs with Miami; Ramsey Replacement
MJS replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
That Tyreek Hill thing is real? What a complete buffoon. He really takes himself seriously. That's the most cringe worthy thing I've seen in a while. "The Cheetah is here." What an idiot 😆 -
Hope he gets justice, whatever that means. False accusers are some of the worst scum out there. And I really hope another team gives him a shot.
