Eli Apple signs with Miami; Ramsey Replacement
MJS replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
That Tyreek Hill thing is real? What a complete buffoon. He really takes himself seriously. That's the most cringe worthy thing I've seen in a while. "The Cheetah is here." What an idiot 😆 -
Hope he gets justice, whatever that means. False accusers are some of the worst scum out there. And I really hope another team gives him a shot.

They added some void years and made things more cap flexible. He isn't necessarily losing any money, although technically his guarantees did go down.
-
Such an awesome hit. Sorry he got hurt, though.
-
Yes. These teams need to go out and prove it. The only team to show they are a superbowl contender so far is the Bills.

The guys highest on the depth chart. -
Madden is quick to react at some things and slow to react to others. Do not put too much stock in their ratings. They are wrong about a lot of players in both directions. If the Bills offensive line comes out and dominates, in 3 years they'll have a good Madden rating (as long as it becomes a national narrative, that is).

This is a confusing take. Why should he retire if another team wants to bring him in?
-
Good for him. I wish him well.

Completely agree. Teams are going to do what is best for them from a competitive standpoint and a financial standpoint. Players do the same. Sometimes those objectives align and sometimes they don't. Running backs wanting to get paid more money makes sense. Who doesn't want to get paid more money? But it doesn't make sense for teams to do that because they can replace a RB without that big of a drop-off in production. There is a strong supply of decent to good running backs. If you want to get paid more, don't become a Running back. It is exactly the same for any job out there. Jobs that pay the most have a high demand and a low supply.

Wisconsin blog speculating about AJ Dillon and the Bills

Players linked to the Bills never come here. -
Yeah, I could see Daquon Jones being an 80 overall. He is probably too low.
-
Oh, ok. I thought it was talking about overall.

Wow, a 97? That's really good.

Giants and Barkley do not reach an agreement on a new contract
MJS replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
That was a bad deal, but Barkley only scored 14 TD's (10 rushing and 4 receiving). That's excellent for a RB, but his value doesn't compare even slightly to the value of a QB. -

What's McDermott’s record against these superhuman coaches? 12 wins, 2 losses. -
The issue isn't so much that RB's aren't valuable to an offense. They are. It's just that it is fairly easy to find a good RB who can produce for you. If RB's were more scarce, they would be in higher demand and make more money.
