  1. Man is that stadium quiet now.
  2. Yeah, no need to press. Everyone seems a bit jittery, so take the points and get settled down. Allen showing good patience.
  3. The tackle seemed pretty harmless. I wonder what the issue is.
  4. We should probably just forfeit. The Jets sound Invincible!
  5. I tuned in for 5 minutes and already wanted to barf. They can not stop slobbering all over the Jets.
  6. This is definitely an overreaction after week 1. But we all knew that they have a bad group of receivers. They better hope Kelce recovers and doesn't get hurt again. And the Chiefs defense seems to always struggle for a decent part of the season before putting all the pieces together later on. But that is WITH Chris Jones, so who knows?
  7. They really play different positions. Kincaid will cannibalize from Sherfield and whoever else lines up in the slot, like Shakir.
  8. Life is a lot better if you stop caring about other people's narratives.
  9. I don't get too high or too low when it comes to football. I know some people live and breathe Bills football and it is an integral part of their identity, but that's not really me. I love football and love the Bills, and I'm excited to watch them play tonight. I don't have less energy about the team, but I don't know if I would describe it that way anyways. I'm confident in the team and excited. I was last year too, and the year before that. I watch the game for enjoyment. When they win, it feels good. When they lose, I take a deep breath and move on with my day and look forward to next week.
  10. The Chargers are allergic to winning.
  11. He didn't say that. That is the interpretation. Go back and listen to what he actually said.
  12. Nobody says they are going to Carolina because that isn't a place. Players deal with actual travel to actual places.
  13. It's about being predictable.
  14. Way to toe the line.
  15. I sure hope he puts up those numbers. I had to start him over Kelce on my fantasy team because Kelce was out.
  16. Bills 24 Jets 19 Jets score a TD near the end to make it look closer.
  17. Yeah, I was scratching my head on both of those. Bad decisions. You can't afford too many of those when facing Mahomes and the Chiefs. Guess it worked out, though.
  18. Well, he was a bit ambiguous. He said there wasn't anything, but if there was they worked it out. So, it is tough to tell of he is just trying to say what the media wants and put the matter to bed, or if something did actually happen. He seems annoyed about the questioning, honestly. Regardless, it seems evident that everything is fine now.
  19. The New Jersey thing just makes sense. They are literally leaving New York and traveling to New Jersey for the game. I feel like as a player it would be weird to say they were going to New York when your actual itinerary is New Jersey. Right? I don't think he meant anything by it except that is their travel destination.
  20. It does require a shift in perspective and self identity, for sure, and that would probably be even more pronounced for a former pro athlete. I'm sure a big part of his identity is rooted in his athleticism and physical strength. But people can make that shift and find happiness even in the face of tremendous physical adversity, and part of that comes from the realization that you are more than your physical body and physical abilities. You have value in many other areas. Christopher Reeve is a good example. He accomplished a lot after his accident and even continued acting.
  21. The players get 48% of revenue. So, about half of revenue goes to the owners who pay employees, maintain stadiums and other facilities, pay utilities, and all the other costs associated with running a business, including paying pensions and healthcare for retired players. So, it isn't like they are just taking half the money and just using it on themselves. And this is all collectively bargained. If the players association wants a larger cut, they have to bargain for it. I personally think it is fine the way it is. Players are making boat loads of money. Owners are too. Since the players get a percentage of revenue, both parties have incentive to see revenue grow, and contracts are ballooning because revenue has been ballooning. The highest paid player 10 years ago was making $20 million a year. Now it is $55 million per year. Almost tripled in a decade!
  22. Whelp, it is a lot harder to win when Kelce isn't running free and open all night long. Kelce is seriously one of the best of all time. You know they would have won if they had him.
  23. Why didn't they punt it?
  24. Their RT is breaking the rules all night long. So ridiculous.
  25. Kelce doesn't have a lot left, I don't think. He was really dragging at the end of last year. You could see he was feeling it in his body language.
