WR sticker shock? Receivers are breaking the bank big time. I'm wondering if any of these mega deals will be worth it in a couple of years. You might see more of a receiver by committee approach around the league soon, or drafting them high and letting them walk after their 4th or 5th year.

This is a soft reset year. I think we really need to see how the season plays out. There are just too many unknowns to really know what the team needs and what it doesn't. At first blush, I'd say we are weak at receiver still. And I'm wondering if we'll be weak at safety as well. There are many more potential weaknesses. Pass rusher, for one, but we might view that differently if Rousseau has a break out year and Miller gets back to 80% of what he used to be.

Joe Marino dropped his All-22 review and he usually addresses safety. I haven't listened to it yet, though.

Milano has always been a bit injury prone. But it isn't just linebackers getting injured. The defense was missing multiple starters at all three levels last year.

Just a few years ago the Bills were a very healthy team for a few years in a row. I think most of it is just bad luck, honestly. That's why depth and player development is so important.
