Says who? That's just speculation. And that's a common fallacy that people who break the rules and the law use to justify their actions. If everyone is doing it, it makes it OK for me to do it. But there is not evidence that all the teams are breaking the rules. There's a legal tampering period now.

Mahomes Restructures - Free's up almost 50 mil in cap space

Pregame penalties? "Personal foul. Pregame penalty. Opposing team looked very aggressive coming out of the tunnel. 15 yard penalty will be assessed on the opening kickoff." -
Why? Where is Taron Johnson going?

I'm not sure something like this deserves its own thread. Could have gone in a general FA thread or something. But good to know, I guess. -
Joey Bosa signs with Buffalo. 1 year, $12.6 million
MJS replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hey, that is pretty cheap. A one year prove it deal. -
Rate the FA period thus far (Earth Shattering Joey Bosa Update!)

An Irish Thank You to Beane, McDermott & Allen

I don't understand what's going on. -
That's just bogus 😆 Mack Hollins has 2,000 yards and 15 TDs in his entire 7 year career. Josh Palmer has 2,200 yards and 10 TDs in just 4 years. Palmer has twice the production rate.

For the Patriots??? Lame.

I still enjoy the other successes, like regular season wins, winning the division, getting high seeds in the playoffs, players getting awards and recognition, breaking records, winning playoff games, etc. Of course, it doesn't equal a superbowl win. That trumps everything. But I derive satisfaction and entertainment from the lesser winning as well. It doesn't mean, for me at least, that I am content or that I am fine not winning a superbowl. That is always the goal. But I take a more nuanced approach and allow myself to enjoy the successes as they come.

Herbert is overrated and they had a lot of guys who were pretty similar in caliber to Palmer, I'd say. So the opportunities were spread around a lot.

Decent size, decent speed. Not spectacular.

His advanced metrics are really good. He is a good route runner and separator. He plays on the outside, which is what we need. That price tag is more than I expected, but he obviously had a lot of suitors and the Bills wanted him.

QB Justin Fields to the Jets as per Tom Pelisserro
MJS replied to RiotAct's topic in The Stadium Wall
QBs always look their worst playing for the Jets. -
Good. Makes the Jets weaker and he is out of the conference.

Way too much for a safety.

Have you enjoyed the other aspects of Bills success (regular season and post season winning) at all, or do you not care about that at all? Like, in the moment when those things are happening, do you not derive any satisfaction from it? You just immediately tell yourself it doesn't matter unless they win a Superbowl at the end? Just seeking to understand.

Today is the weirdest day on the NFL calendar
MJS replied to 4merper4mer's topic in The Stadium Wall
It starts at the same time for every team. They don't let the west coast start first, haha.
