Hey, I'm 35 and I feel pretty good! Allen will be able to play until he is 38 at least. It isn't the 90's anymore. QBs get protected and it has seriously extended their careers. Aaron Rodgers used to run around quite a bit and was still doing that in his late 30s. But he was good at avoiding contact. Allen will have to take that approach when he is a bit older.

Last year was much different. They were eating the Diggs contract, plus they ate some of Allen's by not restructuring all of the money they could have with him. Plus others. This season, they have a lot more levers to pull. They have the ability to sign anyone they want. They might not do it, but they have the flexibility if they want to, unlike last year due to the dead cap they had to deal with.

Bobby Brown is one of his signings. Marino has been the one talking him up.

The needs are defensive line, CB, and WR, which is what he took. And secondary needs would be safety and potentially RB if Cook walks. So, it seems like he was drafting according to needs to me. I think Sweat would be a great signing. He is really good. He'll be overpaid, though, but that is the nature of free agency. I bet he gets more like 25 million aav, though.

If you don't re-sign Morris or Gilliam, you'll be signing others just like them for about the same money, so you might as well bring them back since they are already effective in what they do in this system. And they play special teams as well.

Brown has the athleticism and burst to rush the passer, though. He just hasn't had the opportunity as much the way he was used by the Rams. Regardless, the Bills will continue to rotate guys and play packages situationally, I'm sure.

We need a 1 Tech. Joe Marino is high on Bobby Brown from the Rams. 24 years old. 6'4" and 330 lbs. 9.82 RAS score, so very explosive and athletic for his size. He is a good run defender and would have more opportunity to penetrate and rush the passer in our scheme. You beat me to it.

No, it isn't an overpay. In fact, he could probably get more from another team. But I'm frustrated with our defensive line and want some changes. Rousseau is not an elite pass rusher. He would be great if we had an elite guy opposite him. Let's hope we get that done somehow.

Good for them. Marriage is awesome. Sometimes it breaks down into a fiery hellscape of doom, but it is pretty nice otherwise.

If not, Sweat in free agency would be pretty good. He is a difference maker. The Bills can free up 40 million in cap space pretty easily with some extensions and restructures and a couple of cuts.

There are virtually no primary man teams anymore. Even the teams that play man the most still play zone coverage more. The league average percentage of man coverage is, like, 30% man, if I remember correctly. A high amount of man coverage is in the 40 to 45% range these days. That's just a load of bologna. You don't know what you are talking about. Benford is a top 5 corner in the league and every statistic backs that up.

Yeah, losing him really screwed up the game plan since they decided to play more man coverage. We went from an elite corner (Benford) and an above average corner (Douglas), to an above average corner and a shaky bust of a corner (Elam). That is a huge difference.

He is getting older. Already 32. I'd rather extend him once we see how he continues to play. And it will be one or two year deals from here on out for him. Edit: Wrong Connor McGovern. Ours is 27. My bad.
