  1. Super. If he ends up like them I'll eat my words.
  2. Not anymore...but I actually did work in a box factory in my early 20s. Pay was pretty good
  3. For a guy under 6 foot? Not in my book by a LONG shot.
  4. Different people learn better differently. What if he's the kind of guy that learns better and understands more by doing? Would make no sense to sit him and slow his progress. Like it or not, Josh Allen is THE most important player on that roster. Every decision made needs to be revolving around his development and his progress. If we play a raw rookie and suffer a 2-14 season...so be it. But look how this team is shaping up. We are going to be a run first team again. Shady and Ivory. Strong defense. I think in the right set up Allen could play and we could do just as well as if AJ played.
  5. It's possible. I wouldn't bet money on it happening. As stated above, it reported he wants a 1 year "prove it" to rehab his value. I wouldn't think he would see this as an optimal situation to do that. Though Shady wants him here. I've also heard there were people in Dallas who had a job primarily just to keep the guy out of trouble. So that would likely turn off Beane. But who knows
  6. I'd put my money on just a random douchebag that has nothing better to do.
  7. Allen Lazard still there. I like him if ESB is gone.
  8. Excellent persuasion skills.
  9. Welp. Daboll was the OC in KC the year zero TD passes went to WRs. Maybe we will just avoid the position all together.
  10. Solid pick, awesome way to announce it.
  11. Per Benjamin Allbright at least 3 times bigger than Riley Ferguson.
  12. I am extremely nervous about our QB coach, Dave Culley. He has an excellent reputation...as a WR coach. He came here from KC. What I believe happened was (and no proof just a theory) Andy Reid agreed to give McDermott a glowing recommendation (which I have read he indeed did do) in exchange for McDermott hiring Culley as QB coach. When he came here, Reid made it a point to say the reason he was ok with Culley leaving was because Culley wanted to get his resume built for an eventual HC position. While Culley may not be the most experienced with QBs I have to believe that him coming here with a rookie QB is his big shot. And he has to know that. If whatever QB we draft works out it would really help him to bigger things. Perhaps an OC position down the road leading to that HC job he wants. Now, I don't know if Culley is a good QB coach. I've never been in a QB room with him or been on a field to hear his coaching. But when a guy has aspirations and a chance I do know if he fails, it won't be lack of effort. I believe he will go above and beyond to make his goals come true. Quote Edit Options Posted this on another Culley thread. Holds true today.
  13. I want to say 7. It's 7 isn't it? 9? 22? Just TELL US!!! DAMN YOU HERB AND YOUR SECRETS!!!
  14. Baltimore didn't even draft a QB. They scored a TE and a WR.
  15. They never asked if he loooves penis either.
  16. That was a really nice write up. Thank you. I think by and large a lot more people would have been fine with Allen had Rosen not been on the board or had Allen fell to 12. It is what it is though. With at least some of the issues being possibly correctable I think it may just be ok.
  17. Explain to me why it's our job to explain it to you?
  18. If you have to pre-ask for forgiveness for being ignorant you don't deserve the forgiveness.
  19. Well, in my view (which isn't worth much, admittedly) Josh Allen handled himself with more class and professionalism concerning "TweetGate" than Rosen did in sliding to 10.
  20. I think they just liked Allen's ceiling better than Rosen's floor.
  21. We have Dave Culley. While not experienced with QBs, he does have Andy Reid's seal of approval . Culley has a lot to prove.
