  1. I am. I was told it was a prerequisite when I signed up by some guy with a Dr. Teeth avatar. Was I mislead?
  2. Reports are he has already gone rogue and fired Fred Jackson. Jackson didn't even work there. Seriously good for him. He may not have known how to find a quality QB or handle the press but he's a good guy and a snappy dresser. Much luck Doug.
  3. TT is the mediocre QB of a bad offense. No more no less. -No true #1 WR. We have a good player in Matthews, a rookie and a bunch of castoffs. -No speed out wide -40% of the online is subpar. This gets worse when Glenn is out and our RT becomes LT. -A QB that is an excellent runner, not so much as passer -A top notch RB that is being asked to do too much and will likely be on IR at some point. -Slow plodding back up RB Even if Taylor has been bad-and he has been bad-and starting a rookie 5th rounder is not the answer. My guess is that they had "hoped" TJ Yates could stick and go to him if need be...but that didn't work out well either. If the process was to fix the defense in year 1 and use all those draft picks and free agency next year to fix the offense year 2 then I'm on board with that. But this offense won't find success no matter who the QB is.
  4. TT had the ball in his hands with a chance to win the game. He didn't make any costly turnovers. He did...by definition keep us "in the game". What he did NOT do was at any point in the game play as if he was trying to WIN the game. Was the game plan to keep it close and hope for the best? If so that's on coaching. What I was waiting for was him to take over the game. They weren't stopping his runs. Remember the Tennessee game a while back? That's the Tyros that gives us a chance to win games like this and not just stay "in the game" I believe Dennison lacks the vertical speed we need. He'd make a great slot guy though.
  5. It's amazing how many viable NFL starting QBs the Buffalo Bills have had on the roster over the years that just sat as 2nd team. Wasted away because coaches didn't realize what they had. Right now Brohm would be leading the charge for the 6th Lombardi if only these coaches would stop their shenanigans.
  6. This is a young man that will have better days. Can't help but think if the offense was in any kind of a rythem yesterday he catches that pass. Hard to ask a guy (even if his name was Watkins or Boldin) to make that adjustment on that pass in that situation.
  7. Agree with the fact that he didn't push downfield. He had one downfield toss I can think of offhand...down far sideline...good coverage and not well thrown if I recall. However it's hard to push the ball downfield when blocking is breaking Ng down quickly. In that case I don't think Peterman would have had time either to throw down the field.
  8. At the end of the game TT still had the ball in his hands with a chance to win. Why? Because, while I agree his play during the first 57 minutes was bad...he did not turn the ball over. A rookie in a game like this? I mean if you get to speculate he would win it's only fair I can speculate at least 1 pick on a bad read and a sack/strip/fumble scenario. Even if Panthers kick 1 FG off those 2 turnovers...game over.
  9. Yup. Peterman, on the road...against the Panthers defense, without a running game, in his first ever NFL game, without much of an o line blocking for him would have absolutely lit it up. Appearently we have a new legend of Kiko type player...
  10. Pass was high. Good effort. That pass needs to be on target in this situation.
  11. Bills reportedly working out John Greco. Would be an upgrade to Vlad as well as getting one cut done.
  12. Irsay is a known alcoholic. Heck he gave up a 1st for Trent Richardson. If we catch him at the right time we may be able to get Hilton for a pack of smokes and a trip to one of Buffalo's fine gentlemen's clubs.
  13. I mean...you can't fail a concussion test if you don't have a brain to concuss.
  14. No funeral. He is back as a zombie. Should still play with more accountability than Gilmore.
  15. I'm most worried about McCaffrey. Backs like him always seems to give us fits. All in all I'm hoping this is a case of "It doesn't matter who you play, but when you play them" and Cam is still a bit rusty. As long as our defense shows up we have a chance.
  16. Or, I mean we could all just chill and enjoy the win. You know instead of dwelling on negatives. Too high to get over...to low to get under I suppose.
  17. Can we please stop trying to run Tolbert outside?
  18. Shotgun, Shady split out wide to the right Tolbert in backfield. WR screen to Zay Jones for 4 yards. Flag down. Illegal procedure on Buffalo. Cordy not on line of scrimmage. Also, encroachment on the defense. Penalties offset. Repeat 1st down. Next play, Shady to the left, cuts back right for 6.
  19. Actually I am way more pissed at how KC looked last night. I realize it was week 1...but rumors of a KC collapse have been greatly exaggerated.
  20. http://www.phillyvoice.com/ranking-nfl-teams-age-after-53-man-cutdowns-2017-edition/ I mean, I'm sure you averaged all the ages for the Bills then did the other 31 teams for comparison...but this is where I believe that "fact" comes from...
  21. Not really that hard to see the process unfolding. The Bills are the 3rd oldest team in the NFL I believe I read. So you have a core of older players here to 1. Keep the appearance of being competitive 2. Help teach the young guys. Loading up on draft picks and releasing players that are either of questionable fit, healthy or ethics they are building a team that can grow together. Buffalo isn't playing for the AFC East title even had they kept Watkins, Darby ect ect. Not with Brady and Belichick. So you build for the future when they aren't there anymore. If you can't beat them then be the team that replaces them. Brady is 40. He looks good still but when father time catches him he will deteriorate fast. Rex Ryan was shooting for playoffs. One wild card appearance...then what? McBeane is building something that can compete on a high level for years. As long as they draft well they are setting themselves up for sustainable success.
  22. 1 day contract maybe. But not to active roster. He doesn't offer anything on special teams.
