  1. Hogan would be on the bench. I mean in the world of what if...we would still have Watkins, Woods and Goodwin who each clinched the HoF Thursday night...or so I've basically read here.
  2. Aye, the stats all count and you can only play who the schedule says. However to label them an "offensive juggernaut" after those 2 game...a tad premature. Lets see how the "vaunted" new Rams pass attack matches up with teams like Arizona and Seattle. I have a suspicion the Rams are still no better than a 6-7 win team at very best.
  3. They played the Colts. And the 9ers. Not exactly they Steel Curtain there people. Pump the brakes.
  4. JP and EJ say hi...lol I actually believe McD when he says he's building a team. Fix and build up the defense first. Doing that we can at least compete. Strip down and build an offense with players Dennison can use next year. Who cares if Shady touches the ball 600 times this year. His health isn't in the long term plan. Same with Tyrod. Let him get killed behind that online. Neither player will be here next season. I have endured 17 season of failure too and the LAST thing I want is 1 playoff appearance, a one and done and 10 more years of a crap storm. Chalk this season up to seeing what we have and build a team to take over the top spot in the division once the demise of Brady happens. Compete for the following decade. That should be the plan and I believe it is the plan. There is your process.
  5. I mean let's also take into account that the SF DBs are not very good.
  6. Sammy did what Sammy does. Played lights out on a nationally televised game and got hurt at the end. At the end of the game his head was spinning so hard he actually thought the earth was round. NRC did NRC things. Made some plays and made some mistakes. Goodwin did Goodwin things. Amazed he didn't get hurt but he always was the big play ability. The one I'm most upset about it Woods. Hated losing him and I personally think he would have been a much better fit on this team than Wacky Watkins. Completely understand that the money the Rams paid him was bonkers. But of the 4 he's really the only one I would be thrilled if they got back.
  7. Or, Watkins would have already twisted an ankle and Boldin is so slow now he would still be near the line of scrimmage. I can speculate as well.
  8. I can't really blame the coaches. They got to the position they are in based of what they have taught in the past so why wouldn't they stake their career on what they know? I do put some of the blame on ownership. If you know you have a roster filled with certain types of players then priority should be to find a coaching staff that can work with what you have. They only time you should hire a guy that is the complete opposite of what you had is if you stumble on a guy that you believe can be the man for the next 15 years to lead your team. Maybe we have that in McD...maybe not. Making wholesale changes for a Chan or Jauron is what set this franchise back. Who really didn't know when they were hired that they were dead man walking upon hire?
  9. Strong and sexy. How we should all live. It may not be for all...but I trust the process.
  10. That was an awesome read. Thank you. My only disagreement is that I don't see Beane putting value on a WR to draft him with our first 1st rounder. That pick should be fairly high if we can't work the offense out. I believe that TE will be a priority next off season as well as Clay still has 14 games of injuries to pile up this season.
  11. Watkins would have resigned here...if we offered the best contract. Plain and simple. The issue is we were never going to offer him the contract that others would overpay him in free agency. We would have lost him for...what at BEST a 3rd round comp pick? We managed to get a 2nd and a heck of a good player for this defense. Short term it doesn't help us. This is true. Long term it could really pay dividends.
  12. Same QB that slid just short of a possible playoff berth against the Raiders. Got it.
  13. How long before Miller is benched? What about Mills? Cogs had a rough game this last week...let's go with him... Taylor will only be benched week 16 at the earliest. My guess is he misses time with injury and before he comes back those that wanted him benched are super excited for him after we see Peterman in real games.
  14. To fans success is measured in championships. To owners it's in dollars. As long as fans pay it's a successful move to Davis
  15. Unlike us...who chanted for the guy that made them chant for Tebow in the first place 🙄
  16. So...they're like watching us? Right now?? Awkward...
  17. I'm in the minority that actually thinks the Raiders will do well in LV. Tons of visitors every day to that town. I don't think they will be thought of as a Pro Sports team rather than an attraction to see like Blue Man Group or 2 Moes 1 Tiger.
  18. I am. I was told it was a prerequisite when I signed up by some guy with a Dr. Teeth avatar. Was I mislead?
  19. Reports are he has already gone rogue and fired Fred Jackson. Jackson didn't even work there. Seriously good for him. He may not have known how to find a quality QB or handle the press but he's a good guy and a snappy dresser. Much luck Doug.
  20. TT is the mediocre QB of a bad offense. No more no less. -No true #1 WR. We have a good player in Matthews, a rookie and a bunch of castoffs. -No speed out wide -40% of the online is subpar. This gets worse when Glenn is out and our RT becomes LT. -A QB that is an excellent runner, not so much as passer -A top notch RB that is being asked to do too much and will likely be on IR at some point. -Slow plodding back up RB Even if Taylor has been bad-and he has been bad-and starting a rookie 5th rounder is not the answer. My guess is that they had "hoped" TJ Yates could stick and go to him if need be...but that didn't work out well either. If the process was to fix the defense in year 1 and use all those draft picks and free agency next year to fix the offense year 2 then I'm on board with that. But this offense won't find success no matter who the QB is.
  21. TT had the ball in his hands with a chance to win the game. He didn't make any costly turnovers. He did...by definition keep us "in the game". What he did NOT do was at any point in the game play as if he was trying to WIN the game. Was the game plan to keep it close and hope for the best? If so that's on coaching. What I was waiting for was him to take over the game. They weren't stopping his runs. Remember the Tennessee game a while back? That's the Tyros that gives us a chance to win games like this and not just stay "in the game" I believe Dennison lacks the vertical speed we need. He'd make a great slot guy though.
