  1. Everytime I think of old Bills/Bucks games I remember Robb Riddick diving out of the end zone when we were backed up. Man I liked Riddick.
  2. He can line up in the backfield freeing McCoy to split out wide more often. With McCoys speed it may even help keep safeties out of the box for Hyde to have running room. So, indirectly...he would possibly help the WR position.
  3. We got Shady from a trade. I'd say why not. Hyde for a player we want to dispose of (looking at you Cordy). Maybe we even get a pick back as well. Not so sure McCoy is back next year and they could resign Hyde to be the feature back. Could do much much worse.
  4. Not talking about his draft spot. Overrated as in people actually thinking he was a true #1 receiver when in actuality he wouldn't have started for the majority of teams. The fact that he was better than what else we had and took on a way bigger role than he ever should have. And no, not better because he was amazing...better because...I mean Donald Jones. Yea, he played well against some darn good corners from time to time. Also dropped a ton of catchable balls, disappeared for huge chunks of games and never really made a difference when it mattered most. But no, an oft injured, overhyped, self serving poor route runner is exactly what this team needs. While we are at it I hear Frank Lewis and Jerry Butler are free...and they used to be Bills too. Maybe they should be signed? Wonder what Ahmad Rashad is up to these days... Butler and Lewis or I riot!
  5. If I remember, that kid that played Webster put on about 200lbs. Maybe he could play RG?
  6. And who is that? The FA WR cabinet is pretty much bare. TE? Barnridge? Gotta be a reason he's still out there with as many TE needy teams. He visited the Texans when they were basically starting the popcorn vendor and came away without a contract.
  7. No Ghost of Jamie Mueller!! Now back to haunting Bryan Cox!!
  8. Could it be Mojo Rawley? Or Mojo JoJo? Or Mr. Mojo Risin?
  9. Going to be a lot more gone than them as well. With his age and increase of penalties I wouldn't be shocked if Cogs is gone this off-season as well. McCoy is likely done here too imo. Going to be a lot of fresh faces next season as well for sure.
  10. Honestly the Steelers drop isn't even a factor. He's a guy that at this point in his career doesn't have an ounce of upside. This would likely be the reason that the Bills and, you know 31 other NFL teams haven't brought him in. Stevie 7 years ago? I would agree would be better than what we have. Stevie now? No thank you. Look around the league. The Browns WR depth...look at what happened to the Giants this weekend at WR. Yet no team is even reportedly bringing him in for a tryout. Age and injury catches up.
  11. No thanks. He was overrated when he was here. Now he's just older. More broken down.
  12. Tickets to Wicked on Broadway, a $25 Home Depot gift card (With $16.73 left on it) and SEVEN air filters for a John Deere lawn tractor.
  13. Big difference is also in the team they took over. Rex didn't have to clean up after Rex Ryan and Doug Whaley.
  14. You don't know that they will have to trade up. Neither do I so let's see where it goes. Maybe we have to trade...but at least we have the resources to do so. Maybe one of the QBs falls in our lap. Maybe we back up a Brinks truck and sign Cousins. Lots of possibilities. But I have faith that this team is going in a good direction. Think back to the off-season and fans bashing Buffalo for the way they rebuilt the secondary. Through 5 games they might be our best unit. Maybe...just maybe these guys know what they are doing...
  15. Yes. Still has the potential to be a great trade. The picks themselves are a moot point. It's what you do with the picks that counts. As of right now, the results of the trade are KC took the QB and we have Tre White. White obviously has been the more productive of the 2 so far. Now what makes or breaks the trade is that extra number 1. Do we use it to move up for a QB? Does a QB drop in our lap? Do we sign a FA QB and use it on a oline or WR? Still a long way to go to debate this trade.
  16. Exactly. We have been told year in and year out that this team is close and only a few changes are needed. This hasn't been the case. So year 1 the process is to rebuild the defense. Why? Because a good defense keeps you competitive...keeps you in games. So far we have lost 2 games. Both on the road. Both where we had the ball with a chance to win and couldn't get it done. Year 2 will obviously be committed to improving the offense. I strongly believe there will be a huge turnover on that side of the ball. Wouldn't shock me if we have 3 or 4 new starters on online. New WRs, new TE, and yes, a new RB in addition to a new QB. I like what they have done with the defense. No one thought our secondary would be any good...but it's become the core of a very strong defense and will keep getting better. I get the whole "it's been 17 years...." blah blah blah but let's build an actual contender and not a team that can make the playoffs once then start on the new streak of playoff misses.
  17. If ya gotta ask...you aren't as hardened as you think...
  18. But at least we aren't the Giants...Sheesh they are the true WR walking wounded right there 😂😂😂
  19. I do not like Tyrod as a player. I think he is severely limited in his passing ability, doesn't settle in the pocket and is way too tentative in throwing the ball. That said, he is the best option we have on the roster right now. Peterman, a rookie who looked "ok" against 2nd team, 3rd team and fodder players in the preseason is not going to fare well. Some want to say...well Dak did it...but really it's no true comparison. Dak DOMINATED those low roster players whereas Peterman just looked "ok". If we had a back up that had some experience I would fully endorse a switch. But putting a green rookie behind that line, with those receivers, with the running game getting stuffed and the play calling being iffy at best is a quick way to not win again this year.
  20. I think with the injuries mounting on offense...time to split Shady out wide almost exclusively in this game. Get him the ball on the outside and let Tolbert soften up this Bengals D.
  21. Need to upgrade the o-lune before we draft a guy and get him killed.
