  1. Whatever happened to Nkemdiche? He was a character concern I remember then showed up at the draft with a crew of guys dressed like mobsters.
  2. I think there is a long way to go in this analysis. By April, after FA has mostly shaken out, it will be down to 4/5 players. No matter the position, even if that is Greedy Williams territory, they have to hit on a great player. Cannot afford to miss at this point in the process.
  3. Drafted as a RT, but Cordy got hurt so they moved him in. Did pretty well last year but struggled at times this year. Low Grade LT, might be nice at RT
  4. I think he bought in to the process and worked hard to improve. He batted down a lot of passes and set a strong edge. But best of all he took on L. Fournette and got the stadium and the team all riled up. That was great. I hope they keep him, and even consider an extension.
  5. I think that if there is an edge rusher that Sean loves in the area, then that is the way it will go on that late April Thursday evening when the network breaks away for a long commercial break.
  6. Wow! How exciting! I think the Off Season kicks off the first week of March and then the draft in late April. Time to get the running game going.
  7. Have to give #90 a big hurrah. I thought he was solid. Clay was a dud. May have blocked effectively but nothing in the receiver department, and an inexperienced QB needs his TE.
  8. I think that if you do not believe there will be a defensive back, or two, in there somewhere you have not been paying attention. I think we need a top FA OLine and an OLine in the top 50 of the draft (the Bills should have two choices in the top 50). I also think I agree with other posters who indicate that Sean will have his way and an edge rusher will be the first pick.
  9. I agree with the last sentence of this post, although the 3rd and 4th paragraphs convince me that the poster must be from downstate, south of Albany where corruption and low football IQs thrive.
  10. I agree with the OP that the Jets got the jump on the Bills by trading up, and then landing Darnold. I do think that that will be a thorn in our side for years to come, but I like our guy as well but the Bills will have to be smart to beat the Jets with defense and a better running game. JA can push the ball down the field. Brady and Belichik will not go quietly, but there should be some decent competition in coming years.
  11. I think the ST Coaches fate was sealed when there occurred a "12 men on the field" penalty during punt return, giving the opposition a first down. That was the final straw for me, and that was prior to the Jets debacle. OL has to be better. The Bills identity has been as a great running team, and there is nothing this year. Stymied at the line.
  12. Golden Tate, I agree. Smart, top effort and good in Locker room. Vet leadership. I also agree there may be some overlap with Zay, but this is a very solid player to help the young draftees coming in. I would also be happy with an overspend on an A+ interior lineman. Then I will trust the FO (McBeane as you would have it) for the additions to the defense.
  13. CBS Sports blamed Allen. Claims he "missed" a wide open Charles Clay in the end zone. There was comparative fault on this play (OL anyone) but it tips toward Clay for me, choking in the big moment.
  14. Archuleta was openly cheering for the Jags last time he had our game. Whooping it up after Fournette's second touchdown.
  15. Wow. That was a heart breaker. I think I like watching Josh Allen play, and I also dream of a future with an Offensive Line and another pass catcher or two.
  16. As I watch the games each week, it definitely seems to me that The OL Coach, J. Castillo cannot possibly survive this off season. The terrible play and the drive killing penalties. When they had too many men on the field for the punt return against the Jags, that is unacceptable.
  17. I thought is tradition that when a team drafted their new Quarterback they would take care of him with following pick with a Receiving Threat or Protection on the O-Line. Like last year this is a McDermott Draft. Hoping the defense can keep us games, but from whence are more than 3 points coming. The OL, it seems to me from where I am, is a total weak link.
  18. Josh Allen is totally innocent. He hasn't done anything yet. He is coming to Bills Country as a young stranger and we should welcome him and support him.
  19. I think we should support the kid until he betrays us through off field behavior, or proves incapable after being given a fair opportunity. He is just a young man coming to our region (Bills Country) and the Mafia should be hospitable. There is so much vitriol that the sentiment may be that Josh has to fail to protect these unhappy egos. I am going to give the man a chance and treat him with respect, the way I would like to be treated if I was a stranger coming to a foreign town.
  20. i just think it is a little ugly that everyone is so down on the young man. I am going to get behind JA and welcome him to the Bills with the love we have to show our team. If he betrays our trust he deserves disdain, not before. If he proves incapable, then he will leave quietly. But to be so angry and mean spirited before the young QB even takes a snap is untoward and not the way I see the Bills Mafia in my heart.
  21. The young man certainly passes "the eye" test. I watched his bowl game and he was dynamite in the first half, then the play calling veered away into running the ball to sit on the lead. I am not making any judgments, but am hoping that this one pans out. He is exciting to watch, inspires some confidence.
