  1. I have to hope. Something like Oliver and Lindstrom would make me so happy.
  2. If I remember that was more of a Todd Bowles influenced pick. Who did the Bills take in the first that year?
  3. I think this is bad news, if true. My reasoning is that if the QB Murray goes at #1, that drops Bosa or Q. Williams to the Jets. And the Jets at 3 get one of the top two players in the draft. I have stated, and continue to believe that Bosa and Q. Williams are alone as the elite tier. Then there is a drop off.
  4. I think in the top tier there are two players. That is Bosa and Q. Wiliams who will go 1 and 2. 3 is a perfect place for someone to trade up and take Haskins, probably the Jags. Because unless you need a QB there are a number of similarly graded players after that, depending on one's taste. So unless Bosa or Q. Williams falls the Jets will likely be tempted by some strong offers for 3. Besides, they gave up 3 second rounders for Darnold, so are motivated to get some picks back. Because needs change over the course of time, I would hope that the Bills target a player, no matter the position, who will be great for 5-10 years with their 1st rounder. Just targeting the best OL at that spot is not as strategic as identifying the talent that will be a stud through various stages of this Bills formulation. Year in and year out Pro-Bowler. So I agree with you.
  5. I think this post was fun before the politicians started chirping so loudly. Blah Blah BS zzzzz
  6. This inside information comes from the chippies..."Kraft wasn't the biggest [name] involved". I think this will not be taken anywhere near as serious as some are hoping. It is a simple embarrassment. One day class and a donation to the appropriate charity and it will be mitigated to a bad memory. All the cheat gates are worse behavior. I also wonder who is throwing stones from a glass house.
  7. That piece made me think that David Carr is not that smart. Really vacuous presentation.
  8. I actually think that Jason Croom is a good downfield receiver, and seems to go after the catch with some discernible talent. The Bills need to add, probably, a TE who can really block well, as well as be a receiving threat. I tend to believe that those assets are in the draft, on the first two days. The Bills are pretty thin in so many areas so I do not know if they will be able to spend treasure for such an asset.
  9. If McLaurin is available in the 5th I, at least, would be surprised. Mr. McLaurin blew up the Senior Bowl, if I remember correctly. This draft seem to put the emphasis on the correct areas, while one could argue specifics it has a solid theme and apparent execution of that theme.
  10. In my amateur opinion, no one is going to fall in love with Lock. As uninspiring as they come. That is just what I think. I could be wrong
  11. Goff was terrible. I understand that the lack of depth at WR and TE hurt the Rams after the loss of Cooper Cupp, but Goff just looked weak and befuddled.
  12. I would still love to see Golden Tate in that receiver room. Toughness, experience and professionalism for a young room. The guys we have and quite likely a top 50-100 draftee in there as well.
  13. I may be wrong, but I am hoping Oliver is gone so I do not have to battle this dilemma
  14. I think they have to give him the "Assistant" status. Otherwise it would be a lateral move the Bills could block?
  15. I am firmly in this camp. Extremely optimistic about where the process will lead next year.
  16. It is about TV and Marketing Revenues, not about the local favorites. That is absurd...follow the money.
  17. I know a guy who fell asleep in a Car Wash stone drunk. It was one of those moving car wash types where the conveyor moves one through the wash. He was already suspended for DWI and he was passed out when the conveyor tried to eject him from the wash. DWI for dummies. Of course Bruce fell asleep on a median, and Tony LaRussa fell asleep at a traffic light for their DIWI's , so I guess it can happen.
  18. I know the OP is high on Greg Little and opposed to Jonah Williams. I do not have a strong opinion on Jonah, but I tend to agree with WMD on a no to Greg Little. My thought is that his attitude is reportedly not "all in". Taking plays off, maybe a little lazy attitude at times. Now I have not seen very much of Mr. Little, but I was bothered by those reports. My past "please no" players have been Orlondo Brown, Jr. (last year with bad combine); Jonathon Martin (soft) and our own Cyrus K (looked good in shorts but got beaten like a drum in the championship game). I don't like the Mixon, T. Hill, M. Bryant type thing either. I do know we have to hit this pick, and cannot miss.
  19. Will take time. The middle of the 2020 season we should see solid results.
