I think the female Line Judge was being ignored totally by her fellow crew members. She would come in with the spot but the Referee would go into the scrum confer with the Line Judge on the opposite side and make a spot and a call. More than once I saw her come down the line and change her line when she saw the other Line Judge. even if she had a better view of the spot. I don't think the crew wanted to deal with her and she wasn't brave enough to stick her head in there and tell them what she saw. I am speculating on my reading of their actions, but that is how I read it.

How do you know when Bills fans have gone too far?

I think he was a doink. But he had that sacred heart avatar with Trent's head photoshopped. Strange poster -
Is anybody keeping it humble and hungry?

A Few Thoughts About the Broncos Game, in no particular order
CNYfan replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thank you Virgil. I think the your feelings generally reflected the zeitgeist of Bills Mafia at the time of the Josh Allen selection. My thoughts went to the young man and his family when I stepped up on this board to oppose the backlash. To some extent it reminded me of the negative reaction Donavan McNabb received when he was the 2nd pick by the Eagles. He was drownd in boos for Philly fan and dejectedly took off his draft hat on the stage while the boos rained down. (I can't remember who they wanted, a running back I think). In any event we are a very lucky fanbase to have this fine young man as the QB of our favorite rooting interest franchise. Come see the great spirit, not for beggars but for kings. You who have found it please help me along. I'm a man, I'm a man, - I'm not made out of stone. I think the Bills still have a few too many mistakes and would love to see them tighten up the penalties. The Milano roughing lead to one score, and the fumble, of course, to another. Josh's playmaking does gloss over many of the mistakes on offense but if the Bills are going to finish the work they will need to reduce the errors. I think #13Davis has to put in a lot of work into his blocking technique and his desire to be physical with NFL defenders. The defense has improved so much the last 4/5 games that it is night and day. This defense looks good and I am glad that #99 Phillips has been invited back into polite society. He seems to be playing well as he continues to heal. Oh well, as everyone else I am very joyful puppy this cold December morn. -
I think the keyword therein is "try". Many people can try many things. I don't think it is easy to "succeed" at that specific effort over a full 60 minute gridiron contest. The time is now! There is no time but now. Go Bills!!

Doesn't the Bills announcement say that it will be on ABC, in Buffalo? WKBW? Hopefully it will come to the CNY ABC affiliate also. Schlereth despises the Bills and loves the Broncos. Mute city ...

3 worst passing teams right now are...

I think Baker is getting better and the Browns are tooled up. The Browns will be a tough game for everyone. -
Eppenesa and Phillips Improving

I think 94Butler has been much better the last few games as well. He seems to be stepping up -
In any event, there are some concerns, yes however they must be met. As the time is now and there is no option or "maybe if" or other "issues". This is it, we are it and the time is now!!

I think I saw McKittrick19 make a reception and YAC for a first down on a 3rd and long tonight. That play made me happy!! -
Week 14 SNF: Bills Whoop Steelers PostGame Thread

The time is now. There is no option. The Bills must rise to meet this challenge. Now is the time. Go Bills -
Now is the time and there is no other. The Bills must be at their best, physical and tough. No mistakes and the win will be another step forward. There is no time but now, and the Bills must rise up and meet that challenge

I think the Seattle win was a real good win.

Thanks Shaw. Good work. The time is now, history demands the Bills rise to meet the occasion.

A Few Thoughts about the 49ers Game, in no particular order
CNYfan replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks Virgil. Feel good about that one, but the time is actually now. Have to get it done at this time in history. And if I am ever down by a corner on a honky tonk street, I will take a lesson from Big Boy Pete (and won't mess around with Bad Boy Brown) -
To me the difficulty with the Pittsburgh matchup is the talent and depth at the WR position. The Steelers have so many weapons so it isn't if you take away one guy and contain the remainder. They are very deep and will keep the Bills in Nickel where Taron 24 and Levi39 will have to be at their very best. Hopefully our (Bills) offense can romp again while holding the Steelers here and there to field goals, punts and causing a fortuitous turnover. This is my current analysis.

Week 13 Bills @ 49ers in Phoenix PreGame Thread
CNYfan replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Be brave my friends. No "ill feelings" or other trepidation. The time is now and the opportunity must be seized without hesitation. Steel yourselves and fear not. The time is now!! -
I believe the offense really misses John Brown. When he is out, the whole thing looks more difficult.

Romo as full time Brady apologist...
CNYfan replied to Jamie Mueller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I couldn't help but think that Romo was intoxicated for the Noon Thanksgiving game. His speech was slurred and he was being silly. Then he got better as the game went along, which only heightened my suspicions that he was sobering up as he went. -
A Few Thoughts About the Chargers Game, in no particular order
CNYfan replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think that the overall performance was frustrating. Love a win but just left me hoping they would be more disciplined and play a little smarter. Josh especially today with the penalty, the interception and not falling on the bad snap. Josh is the leader of the team and sets a tone, he has to play smarter. I think that Brian Winters cannot possibly be the best option at RG. That is a weak link. I believe that my curiosity as to whether it was the weather or a missing John Brown that limits offensive production was answered on Sunday. Smoke15 was obviously missed as those safeties get to concentrate on Diggs14. At least gone are the days when we can't win for losing, or something like that. -
I was at the "balloon game" that the bills won against the SD Chargers. When the balloon knocked all the power out at "The Ralph". it was like a high school game without all of the electronic bells and whistles for about a quarter or so before the power was restored. Bills beat Rivers that day

I am rooting for the Texans due to those Miami draft picks. Push 'em down the board. I am thankful today for the intelligent and well mannered behavior on this Board. I think it is top notch!

Without doing a deep dive into all of the statistics I did not know whether to think that Josh is just a warm weather QB, or if the absence of Smoke Brown is that important to the pass game. But it seems that the best games were with Brown in good weather. We struggled in Tennessee, where it was fair, without #15. So this week we will not have warm weather nor Smoke Brown, so that is one way to test variables. However I would like to see the passing game with #15 in poorer weather. Just thinking this through.

Eckeler will be back for this game.
