I believe the offense really misses John Brown. When he is out, the whole thing looks more difficult.

Romo as full time Brady apologist...
CNYfan replied to Jamie Mueller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I couldn't help but think that Romo was intoxicated for the Noon Thanksgiving game. His speech was slurred and he was being silly. Then he got better as the game went along, which only heightened my suspicions that he was sobering up as he went. -
A Few Thoughts About the Chargers Game, in no particular order
CNYfan replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think that the overall performance was frustrating. Love a win but just left me hoping they would be more disciplined and play a little smarter. Josh especially today with the penalty, the interception and not falling on the bad snap. Josh is the leader of the team and sets a tone, he has to play smarter. I think that Brian Winters cannot possibly be the best option at RG. That is a weak link. I believe that my curiosity as to whether it was the weather or a missing John Brown that limits offensive production was answered on Sunday. Smoke15 was obviously missed as those safeties get to concentrate on Diggs14. At least gone are the days when we can't win for losing, or something like that. -
I was at the "balloon game" that the bills won against the SD Chargers. When the balloon knocked all the power out at "The Ralph". it was like a high school game without all of the electronic bells and whistles for about a quarter or so before the power was restored. Bills beat Rivers that day

I am rooting for the Texans due to those Miami draft picks. Push 'em down the board. I am thankful today for the intelligent and well mannered behavior on this Board. I think it is top notch!

Without doing a deep dive into all of the statistics I did not know whether to think that Josh is just a warm weather QB, or if the absence of Smoke Brown is that important to the pass game. But it seems that the best games were with Brown in good weather. We struggled in Tennessee, where it was fair, without #15. So this week we will not have warm weather nor Smoke Brown, so that is one way to test variables. However I would like to see the passing game with #15 in poorer weather. Just thinking this through.

Eckeler will be back for this game.

I am one hundred percent hoping for the best from #57. However when the pick came up I was thinking it would be Shinn (Duggar gone to Ptas) or Dobbins. As it turns out it looks like Shinn is having the best rookie season of the 3, and could have really helped our defense. Nonetheless i believe in #57 and think he will come into focus next season.

Knox block in the back penalty on the long Singletary play flipped the script to AZ. I have had enough as well

The media keeps ripping on the PI at the end of the game on 4th down "that shouldn't have been called". But I think the referees made a number of questionable calls to keep the Rams in the game and give them a chance leading up to that call. I think the call was ok, it could have gone either way but the reality is we were jobbed numerous times leading up to that.

Probably Fields or the N. Dakota prospect. He can't quite fall that far

Whose Twitter Feed is that? BuffaloBillCody? Is that an official Bills twitter?

A Few Thoughts About the Seahawks Game, in no particular order
CNYfan replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good work Virgil. Thanks. I think a healthy John Brown is an essential component of this Bills passing scheme. The Klein game is probably a one off where they didn't use him in coverage. I hope he can keep up that type of pressure game, but the video will give AZ a chance to plan around it. Mama killed a chicken, thought it was a duck, Put it on the table with its legs sticking up, Ain't it crazy, ain't it crazy I am beginning to wonder, just a bit, if Josh is a warm weather QB? -
Dr. Chao will have the tape breakdown and anatomy and physiology analysis later this week. Coach Sean won't tell us anything. "Day to day" is hopeful and "week to week" is hopefully after the bye.

Postgame Thread Bills vs. Seahawks
CNYfan replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Adams pushed him right back into Josh and got a sack. That was the bad Knox play of the day, there are usually 1 or 2. He was in blocking, including in the backfield for a snap or two. -

Even Jamal knew he committed a foul, his reaction was clear. He was going to get beat so he leaned his leg out there to impede (trip) the receiver. Adams was great by the line of scrimmage and blitzing but not so great in coverage today -

Off Topic but I thought it was odd that the color guy on the Fox Broadcast was referring to the Seahawks as "Bobby", "KJ", and like that. The Bills were "they". The coaches were "Pete" and McDermott. I was thinking that he didn't do his homework, and didn't do a very good job. -
When I see almost all other QBs I am glad we have Josh.

I think that the Bills are better than they have been playing. I think the run game is starting to show some growth. I think Coach Daboll should try to get "Smoke" more involved. I hope the defense can improve, even incrementally.
