Not at all my intent. Was purely trying to say out of all the games left we should focus on the ones which are winnable. -

You can believe anything you want my friend. I understand wanting to believe they can beat the Pats, that somehow this year is different and the Pats are vulnerable but fact remains Brady is 25-3 against the Bills thats a 89% win pct. If you want to put your belief in an 11% chance be my guest but dont get your feelings hurt when it doesnt happen. Beat the Colts, Chargers and Dolphins. -

They screwed the pooch losing to the Bengals and Jets. I think 9 gets them there this year but beware of a late year surge by the Ravens, I know it sounds crazy but I imagine they will be the toughest competition for the 6th spot. Anyone thinking we will split with the Patriots, please stop. Bottom line is you have to beat the Colts, Chargers and Dolphins twice. Thats the most feasible way to get it done. -
The Brownsiest Brownsing even for the Browns
thenorthremembers replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was clear both teams agreed to the trade. It should have been processed. Almost as dumb as suspending a guy for six games and having it put on hold three different times. If I am the Browns I am appealing -
Came into the season in the conversation as a number one overall pick, he absolutely busted out. But he is probably the only quarterback who has the legitimate excuse about not having talent around him, he needs to stay in school. If we trade multiple picks for Rosen Id be incredibly unhappy.

Rosens 4.5 yards an attempt was a thing of beauty before the finger injury. Cant win games. Rudolph should have been considered the number one QB from the start of the year and now its obvious.

Are the Bills Oppressing Anquan Boldin?

Ive gotten to the point in this thread where I no longer know who is being sarcastic and who isnt -
Exactly, no misdirected hate here but my God people what exactly did we win with Watkins, Dareus, Darby etc? You would think Beane is blowing up the roster of a team who has won multiple championships not one that hasnt sniffed the playoffs in nearly 20 years. Get a QB, bottom line. Do everything you can to get a QB and let losing teams worry about who is playing Defensive Tackle.

Should have never given out a 100 million dollar contract to a DT in the first place. Especially a lazy one who is prone to making horrible decisions. Like how Bills fans are delusional yet you are making up scenarios where Watkins would have been an All Pro this year if he had just stayed with the Bills. The reality is this, Watkins is exactly who he is a decent wide out and Dareus isnt worth 100 million dollars.

More “painful” layoffs coming for espn

Dont love the channel but still watch College Gameday for a bit every Saturday morning. I think they do a hell of a job with shows like SC Featured and 30 for 30. Their programming changed a lot with the errosion of journalism as a whole. Shows like the Sports Reporters, Outside the Lines, Sunday Morning Conversation and even those Make a Wish type features they did on SC had a lot of content in short spans of time. Now you get hours of programming where no one says anything remotely thoughtful, just quick takes that make headlines but have no lasting power outside of scandal. They made a huge mistake where they went from focusing on the story to focusing on what someone thinks of the story. -
Schopp: Taylor is better than you think.

I agree Tyrod is better than the WGR whiner line gives him credit for, but writing an article like this ignores the fact that many Bills fans are already aware that Tyrod is probably a good bridge quarterback for a rookie to learn behind. Should the Bills keep Tyrod next year as their starter, yes they probably should. But it should in no way keep them from drafting someone who could potentially be better than th 19th or 20th best starting quarterback option. His win % was exactly 50% at the start of this year, thats fine for a backup, lets see where it stands at the end of the year. Holds the ball longer than any quarterback in the league (3.14 seconds) thats an eternity in the NFL Takes too many sacks waiting for the wide open option His scrambling ability makes up for his lack on antcipatory skills in the passing game, but lets not kid ourselves because he had a great game last week, he is downright horrid to watch at times. -
I am not sure if it was hesitance or what but Grier should have been in the conversation weeks ago. The big questions on him should be lack of size and game experience. Otherwise he has everything you should love in a Quarterback. High winning pct at both schools, high completion %, nice TD to INT ratio, and it comes across on tape as well. The odd thing for me, and I imagine it’s the media appointing him as the next exciting thing, but anything I read from Scouts and the National Media is that Mayfield is too small to be considered a 1st round pick but now Grier who is only an inch taller and much lighter is starting to be in that conversation?

I watch the first half every week. Have no issue with the games at all. My exact thoughts. Watching him throw his fits made me think of McDermott's much talked about clapping.

Two things on the Kiko hit: 1) Whether he could have stopped himself or not, he led with his forearm. Had he done it to Tyrod everyone here would have said 100% dirty play. 2) No reason to show the replay as much as they did. It was a vicious hit and the result was incredibly tough to watch. I am by no means against playing physical and I think the NFL has gone way too far in the manner in which they call penalties to protect Quarterbacks. However, they come across as fools when they enact those rules and then allow a replay to be shown in what was an overly repetitive manner when Flacco was clearly very hurt. On the Dolphins in general: They deserve every loss they rack up this year. I don’t think I’ve seen a dirtier team outside of maybe the Bengals. You want your team to be aggressive, but they are just flat out ugly. Starting with their eye rolling, head tossing, sarcasm filled head coach down to Suh and Landry they are about as classless as it comes in the NFL. Don’t need a team full of choir boys but watching them last night made me very happy to have McProcess. I don’t know how anyone can watch Gase on the sidelines and think that’s a leader of men.

Agree, agree, agree. He has been a tall, strong armed disaster. He needs to stay in school.
