  1. Wouldnt be a fan of this move. He is a good player but not a great natural pass rusher. Would rather them go get Preston Smith for a little less money.
  2. It is unreasonable because reason will tell you NFL Wide Receivers can only make so much money. If he wanted to make more money he should have went to school for something that pays more than $70 Million dollars in the first nine years of a career. You know many of those jobs available?
  3. The Bills were essentially getting AB for a 2nd and a 3rd in the deal. OBJ is much younger and will cost a lot more pick wise. I think the ship has sailed.
  4. His source was the Steelers. The trade was being finalized. Brown and Rosenhaus let Schefter know he wouldnt report. The Steelers told Rappaport the deal was being done whether Brown liked it or not. The Bills got sick of the nonsense and pulled out of the trade.
  5. Shady threw the same fit about coming here, Kelly went to an entirely different league. This is about a guy with a bleached blonde mustache being a complete and utter pain. Not about the Bills losing.
  6. I would make him play. No way I would cut him absorb the cap hit and let him get his way. I also wouldnt take less for him because he is acting like a spoiled brat.
  7. This guy is a trip. Doesnt want to play with a Hall of Fame quarterback and catch 100 passes a year. Wants to choose where he plays despite signing a long term deal with Pittsburgh. Wants guaranteed money. Wont play in Buffalo for any amount of money. Seems to me he doesnt want to play football as bad as he says he does.
  8. I dont know. I believe him.... Looks like something off the first 48. Probably wasn't him, probably was Mookie Dook or Fatboy, or Yellowman.
  9. Which analytics? Are we strictly speaking of PFF?
  10. Six Feet Under had maybe the greatest first season of any show I've watched. But then it just turned into this self-indulgent, people suck marathon. It got old after awhile.
  11. Hyde was fine last year. Poyer was better. They are both good safeties.
  12. This. Don't really understand the hate on Poyer. He was the best safety on the team last year.
  13. Watch the tape on the tight ends coming out in the draft. Outside of Noah Fant the guys who are being considered top tier Tight Ends all have major questions. We had tight ends in the 400-600 yards range all but two of the last eight years. Scott Chandler and Charles Clay were decent tight ends. You cant expect a tight end to get 8 touchdowns when your Quarterbacks are throwing less than 30 every year. I understand the need for a better player at tight end, ideally we would have a pro bowler there, but my point is we are not being realistic. There has been some good tight end play for the Bills over the last ten years, last year not withstanding, and we have guys screaming "We havent had a good tight end since Riemersma or Metzelaars!" Keeping in mind Riemersma never eclipsed 600 yard in a season, and Metzelaars did it once.
  14. He had 18.5 sacks the last two years. If Shaq Lawson could muster that the 5th year option would have been a no-brainer.
  15. I hear this said a lot, the question is where do you get these top flight tight ends? Only four tight ends in the entire NFL made it into the top 50 for receiving yards last year. You could go get Jared Cook, but is he really top flight? Or did he just have a really great year? The draft is a crap shoot and they arent generally available in free agency. The issue here is perception. The Bills had an above average tight end for the last few years, until he was completely derailed by his knee issue last year. However, fans thought he sucked because he wasnt Travis Kelce. We dont have a top flight tight end who can do it all because they rarely come around.
  16. It was very cool to see him in the press box with Beane and McDermott. It looked all too right.
  17. I wouldnt say very little impact, but he hasnt been DeMarcus Lawrence. I think he is being wasted as a OLB and is probably more suited as a 4-3 Defensive End. But I wouldnt want the Bills to spend the money to find out.
  18. I'd be ok with it if they can get him for a 5th. He is still relatively young, and doesnt have a lot of miles on the wheels. I've always kind of wondered why he was so underused as a runner though. Then again, may want to explore Tevin Coleman in free agency first.
  19. I think they will go after Preston Smith from Washington. I would say a creative way is to go after an RFA, however there arent a lot of those guys worth investing in.
  20. Pretty sure a former teammate came out and said "I told the Steelers if they pay him, they will create a monster" The guy has given plenty of reasons for people to have an opinion about his actions. He also has 70 million reasons not to care.
  21. Marshawn Lynch probably isnt the best example. Antonio Brown currently has a blonde mustache, about all you need to know about his intelligence.
  22. Has always reminded me of the Logan Thomas situation coming out of VT.
  23. He's done the same for me. And I honestly get sick of all the race bs. But, I am also for equality and if a white announcer would have called Lamar Jackson a unicorn and then turned to Smith and said "if I see a qb who looks like you, I know I can play" his career would be over. Not to mention it would be the headline for every news outlet. The Smith incident never made a blip on the radar.
  24. Forget who he was speaking about. But it was on the NFL Network Pre Game show. He said "They got a unicorn out here playing cornerback." Turns to Kyle Brandt and says "I don't care if I am 54, if they got a guy who looks like you playing cornerback I can play" Everyone just laughed that nervous wtf laugh. I was waiting for it to trend of Twitter. About 4 people brought it up, no surprise. He is a world class jerk.
