  1. Depends on what Christian bands youre listening to. There are some truly great bands that have the Message but dont sound like a 3rd rate worship band. Needtobreathe, Crowder, Hillsong, and Third Day to name a few. I still like some secular music but realize more and more how dark and depressing some of it is.
  2. Cant be culture. Listen to WGR they will tell you repeatedly that culture doesnt mean anything in sports.
  3. I get really sick of people thinking every draft pick needs to become a perennial All Pro or Hall of Famer to not be considered a bust. Sammy Watkins hasn't had the season Zay had last year since 2015, yet the same people who think Zay is a bust still whine about Sammy being traded. Terrance Williams hasnt caught a touchdown pass since 2016 and some of these same people were clamoring to bring him in as a free agent to boost our wideout corps. Bottom line is you need role players on your team as well. If someone asked me if I'd take 58 receptions, near 600 yards and 7 touchdowns from a 2nd year, 2nd round draft pick, while playing with Nathan Peterman, Matt Barkley, Derek Anderson, and a rookie at QB, I'd sign up for it every time.
  4. Very few things in life dont come with an end to the season. If you keep looking back at seasons that have come to a natural end, you're going to miss the one that you're in. I forced a marriage with someone because I spent 7 years of my life with her, and ended up divorced after I found out she'd been cheating on me the entire time. I wasted 7 years because a small part of me thought I should be married to her because she was with me for so long. When you find the one, the person who will choose you everyday no matter if you need to grow up a bit or not, marry her. Generally someone who will stick it out with you will either be the catalyst for your growth, or will grow with you. I am married to an amazing woman now. We didnt date for 7 years before we got married, but we have spent 7 years married making a life together. She has my back good and bad. She also loves the Bills. Onward and upward my friend. The best part about being at the bottom is your trip back to the top!
  5. I am talking about the homeless rate in Toronto, on par with cities like Chicago.
  6. I expected this thread to be about homelessness and schizophrenia. Instead, just a basketball game. Toronto's problems are way beyond cheering injuries.
  7. Funny when I read he was only 77. He seemed like he was around since the beginning of time making amazing music. R.I.P Brother.
  8. See what happened here, see, was ole LB was after a choice bit of calico like a little cake eater and ended up taking a pocket full of wooden nickles. Gonna have to be half sea's over this eve after that icy mitt! I tell ya
  9. Apparently its the 1920's where Bell lives. Jewelry heist, good Lord.
  10. I dont think its an abnormal reaction. It's not smart but we are human. My point is I wonder if there is any consistency in the way people are held responsible for their actions. I digress, just thought it was interesting I didn't see anyone point out the language he was using towards a female given the climate of our country.
  11. The real question is Will Tracy Morgan suffer any backlash for using the word he did during the crash?
  12. They really run sub 4.25? Only three guys have run that at the combine since 1999. If its true holy crow.
  13. Locked on Bills The Bills Beat Whats Next with Eric Wood Those are the three I go to. Locked on Bills is a bit repetitive, but its June so what should I expect.
  14. I was paying $71.00 dollars a month for a bunch of channels including the NFL Network. I just canceled because I am moving in a few months and wanted to save some cash, but I always liked Directv, especially when compared with Spectrum.
  15. Just bought a house and wanted to sell all my Bills memorabilia to help with moving costs. I currently have a pretty decent selection of Bills autographs on ebay Josh Allen/Bruce Smith Autos Etc I also have a few odds and ends including a Jim Kelly signed football and a Billy Shaw signed 8x10. Let me know if you have any interest.
  16. Will always hope he gets it together. He provided the kids, including my son, some really great moments at Kelly Camp. He has done some really stupid things, all of which have served as good teaching moments for my son. However, I have seen first hand the good he has done in the community. We arent all saints, and the end game is a lot more important than the NFL.
  17. Family and I stayed at the farmhouse below in Brookesville Maine two summers ago and it was the best time of my life. We hiked, went to the ocean and caught mussles to cook over the campfire, and explored some of the most amazing farmhouse restaurants I've ever been to. I had my morning coffee on the deck watching the sun come up over a body of water down the street, and drank Alagash Beer while BBQing at night. Just an amazing time. There is a organic winery directly across the street with amazing blueberry wine. Down the road is an ocean inlet with very people around. Most relaxing seven days of my life. My dream retirement. Farmhouse Brookesville, ME
  18. Agree 100 percent. If he gets to nine wins this year he will be 24-24 with a playoff birth. No way they fire him with a .500 record, 73 million dollars in cap space, and the first playoff appearance in nearly 20 years. He will get four years minimum.
  19. Agreed. I liked his ending. My issue is no one spoke up about it during the discussion about who should be King. The ball should have been in John's court to say no and go North. Not being sent there as a prisoner. Regardless, his ending was apt. I was very happy when the door opened and Giantsbane was standing there.
  20. Agree on the first bit. I was happy where John ended up. My issue was the way the John being a Targaryen thing was hyped and basically flickered out at the end of the show. I dont think he would have taken the throne but to not have it discussed was odd.
  21. Not angry about the ending but feel like the show needed more seasons. It was however bad in a few areas -what was the point of the tower of joy John Snow is a Targaryen angle? Sam thought it important enough to tell John but as he is sitting there trying to decide a king he fails to mention they have the true king locked up? And after all that Aegon build up he continues being John Snow? It was maybe the most important storyline in the show and at the end seemed pointless -What the hell does a three eyed raven even do? And why was the Night King trying so hard to kill him? -why were the Walkers trying to kill humans so badly? What was their endgame? -the nobles had option beyond option fora King and they were super blown away by Tyrions choice because Bran "told good stories" lots of self importance by the collective writers there. Loved the show but man did this season feel rushed. It almost felt like they abandoned really important story lines just to get to the ending.
  22. Makes sense. The show started with Bran. Everything would come full circle.
  23. There is a theory article stating that Bran warged into Dany's dragon just after the bell rang and Bran caused the carnage not Dany. The theory states Bran has been evil since he was touched by the Night King in his vision. Not sure why the Night King would turn him evil and then attempt to kill him, unless he wasnt trying to kill him, who knows. Bottom line is virtually everyone watching this thing is going to be upset in some way.
