  1. No I think the Bills wanted him on the one year 8 million dollar contract to get him in the building and see how he fit in the organization. This way they could get the full Clowney experience and determine whether they were willing to give him the larger contract. I dont see them as be in on a guy for 20 million or more they have no real context for outside of Brian Gaine.
  2. That actually makes quite a bit more sense.
  3. Different strokes for different folks.
  4. Happy he was on the Bills for a bit. Long term I think he makes it into the Hall of Fame, arguably the best back in the NFL from 2011-2014. Not sure how happy he will be to win a superbowl not being active, but I wish him all the best.
  5. I havent played a video game outside of the Wii we got the kids in nearly twenty years. I do get the fever now and then when my oldest son starts talking about playing Madden with his friends, but I cant fathom paying 500 or 600 dollars for pretty much anything outside of maybe lawn equipment. Has people's supplemental income went up that much?
  6. No because he isnt going to surround him with people who tell him no, or offer him real advice. He is going to surround himself with yes man who tell him its the world not him thats wrong. That is until the money runs out, and those people will be gone too.
  7. Demone dates a local girl and was at my church all the way out in Orleans County this summer. Seeing someone like that close up answers any question that people are born to be NFL players.
  8. His size will be something to watch out for at the combine. He is listed at 6'0 190, but I feel like his measurables will come in under that. He is my favorite wideout prospect right now, as he really seems to have it all. Runs great routes, is pretty fierce in the blocking game despite his size, catches the ball outside of his frame, and is unparalleled when it comes to taking slants and screens to the house. Jeudy has special footwork, but Ruggs isnt that far off. Wish he gave you a bit more at the X position but other than that he is a great prospect.
  9. About as bad as most of the mumble auto tuned garbage out right noe.
  10. The Bills didnt win a thing when Sammy was here. I think he is an overrated player, and I am amazingly glad they didnt keep him because there is no way I'd want the Bills to pay $16 Million Dollars a year for a oft injured number 2 wideout. If your a fan of the guy fine, thats your business. But, when anyone gets on here and tells me they are upset the Bills didnt keep a guy who makes top ten money at his position but hasnt ranked in the top 40 of any statistical relevant stat in the last two years, I am going to mention that maybe the Bills made the right decision. The guy is a prime candidate to be released this offseason, the Chiefs are up against the Cap and need to make space, and Watkins has the biggest cap savings of anyone on the team right now. I am not jilted in the least just not so blinded by my personal like for a player that I cant see the reality. Watkins career statistics are on par with Peerless Price, he is a borderline number 2 wideout who will most likely be on his 4th team in 7 years if he doesn't grossly restructure his contract. Also, If I remember correctly there was a strong sense "King Me" didnt want to stay in Buffalo for his 2nd contract.
  11. Sammy Watkins is a number two wideout. He hasnt had over 700 yards or 60 catches in the league in 4 years. He has had one 1000 yard season in 6 years. Give me a break on the chemistry thing with Mahomes, A. It shouldnt take two years and countless offseason practices to develop "chemistry" with a quarterback B. He has had three 100 yard games in two seasons with the Chiefs. He has had a good post season, but my God he had two catches against the Patriots. If Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce arent on that team Sammy is an afterthought. He is a talented player, who is about the 8th best player from his own draft class. To date John Brown has had a better career, so actually he is a number 2 on this team just like he is on the Chiefs, number three if you count Kelce. The Watkins stuff really needs to die here. He is on his third team in 6 years, and is being overpaid for his production. I am amazingly glad he doesnt play here anymore. A lot of Bills fans are just really good at being jilted lovers, and hypercritical on the most inane topics.
  12. Watching the Titans is like watching the Bills with a better runningback.
  13. Never understood the love for the guy. His pocket awarness and movement led to way too many sacks, and he had more tipped passea at the line than guys four or five inches shorter than him. To be fair I also hated Allen on tape.
  14. Halfway through part one and I gotta tell you the high school qb and his dad dont seem that credible to me.
  15. Havent watched film on him yet. The knock on him that keeps popping up is he plays weaker than his size. Doesnt fight off press coverage well or block. Have to make my own conclusion when I watch him.
  16. Before this turns into a debate over anti-vaxxers. Luca had the vaccine. It's not full proof and doesn't include all strains. How about just RIP.
  17. The article didnt seem to take into account total yardage and total touchdowns when compared to other qbs. It also didnt seem to take into account w-l pct%. Hard to make comparisons when you dont include the entirety of his game.
  18. How so? They are literally the exact same thing. Jamarcus Russell also didnt reach his potential. The difference is no one gave him another shot. Using your logic you're essentially stating guys like Blaine Gabbert, and David Carr weren't busts because they outlasted their first team. Watkins is JAG in the NFL right now, and was taken in the Top 5 of a draft, he is 100% a bust. Agree to disagree, but Watkins was drafted to be DeAndre Hopkins and he ended up being Kendall Wright.
  19. Right because the only bust in the entire history of the NFL draft was Jamarcus Russell. Sammy was picked 4th overall, the expectation for a player picked that high is at the very least to be a long term number#1 wideout. To this point, he has been an average number 2, to an above average #3. He was the first wideout picked in that draft and to current he is at best the 8th most productive wideout from that class. Beckham, Evans, Robinson, Cooks, Landry, Adams, and John Brown have all had better careers to this point. If Martavis Bryant keeps his nose clean he is the better wideout to this point too. He has been oft injured (played one full season ever), has only had more than 60 receptions in a season once, has 1 (barely) 1000 yard season, and only caught more than 5 touchdowns in three of his six seasons. Sorry, but he is a draft bust. And for the guy saying if he plays another six years he will be top 50 in yards all time. These are his last four years worth of reception yardage, 430, 593, 519, and 673, he may get to top 50 all time in yardage, but in reality the guy is having a Peerless Price type of career.
  20. Youre 100% correct but for some reason people on this board still think Sammy is more than an average number two wideout If it takes him 12 years to do so its not that impressive. You need to normalize stats to get the real story. He was picked number 4 overall. He is and always was a bust.
  21. Let this be a lesson to all of us, stay out of TGIF and away from married women while serving your three year probation for gun possession, people may think you're a bad guy. In all seriousness, the theft of $20 dollars is a bit of a stretch.
  22. Its the girls fault she got hit. Its the cops fault he was in trouble. He grew up in a bad environment. For not being a snowflake you sure do make a ton of excuses for people. If you continually find yourself in bad situations, its probably not the world s fault. And if he didnt do anything wrong why was he hiding in a closet again?
  23. Agree to disagree man. If this was a bunch of 16-18 year old high school kids I'd have less of a problem. But, a grown man using the n word constantly and calling middle-schoolers what he did is unacceptable. I also dont want to hear about the environment he grew up in. Plenty of people grow up in a bad environment and dont proliferate the same idiocy when they become adults. I have no problem with hard coaching, but at that level its uncalled for. At that age they arent even football players, they are kids learning a game.
  24. In this instance, I am fine with that.
  25. Pretty sure your post here shows exactly why you think Lynch is a good guy. These kids werent teenagers, as young as nine years old. He was also using other colorful language beyond what you posted here, but its all good because he's a swell guy. I am sure youd be cool with another person calling your kid that, or the other things he was calling them during the instruction.
