Do you have memory issues? The Republican party was in the toilet. Jr. Proved to be a complete idiot who should have become an artist rather than running for President. The democrats were wiping the floor with the republicans at every turn and the best answer they had was a devisive mormon. Trump and the tea party movement happened because the republicans were too scared to stand up for what the party base cared about. Id say the republicans are in a much better place than they were 4 years ago because without Trump they were never beating the Clintons.

I have a feeling youre discounting a silent portion of the country who would never tell you they support Trump. But its good your strong about your ideals. -

You say women like its every woman. Liberal women think he is a scumbag, they already werent voting for him. Thats your parties problem you generalize because you think your more intelligent than people in the other party. You fail to realize women, and minorities support Trump. Its not just Jed and his cousins in the trailor park like you love to think. -

Tom Brady said learning new playbook is tough
thenorthremembers replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If I had to choose who I'd want out of the division between Brady and Belichick, I would have picked Brady every time. Slice it any way you want he is the greatest quarterback to ever play the game, very glad he is gone. -
And I think it was smart of Fromm. The guy just got crucified publicly. I probably would have reserved my thoughts as well. If the reporter wanted a discussion, have it privately, not in a forum where the guy can be picked apart. If I was Fromm I wouldnt answer another question or send another text for the rest of my life.

This is the type of stuff, intended or not that has our country moving backwards. There is no opportunity for discussion, its one hundred percent about saying and doing exactly what the narrative demands of you. Essentially the demand is to lie and placate rather than being honest about what you truly believe.

The real question is will this be called an error and how do the engineers mitigate the risk to as low as reasonably possible so we can get this thing on the market?

How Excited Are You About The 2020 Season?
thenorthremembers replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You said it really well. This year has been mentally exhausting. Usually I am incredibly excited about football as it signals a lot, it comes at the perfect time of the year where work starts to slow down, people are getting ready for the holidays and the fall around here is amazing. However this year feels completely different, with all the madness around the season, the opting out, the trying to figure out if they can really pull it off I am less than enthused and part of me wished they would just scrap it. Say what you want, but I do think a lot of the madness that has been 2020 will slow down after the election. -
Ok tough guy. You literally have no context for me outside of a message board. You have no clue what I've accomplished or havent. Furthermore, I am in the camp for getting rid of the football season, I think its more trouble than its worth, specifically for situations like this. I was also not saying Tre White specifically. But, I think its more than fair to say the modern athlete, along with this generation as a whole is far more entitled than the ones that came before them. And just for the record, I am also not in the boat of saying just because someone is really good at "just a game" it doesnt make them better at life than anyone else, which is what you're essentially saying here. The issue I have with Tre is him playing this out publicly. Either opt out or dont. Stop being a drama queen.
-
I find myself in the same boat. The problem I see with a lot of these guys is they were bred to be athletes. They spend their entire high school careers playing football, going to college camps, where every little move is about trying to get a scholarship. By the time they make it to the league they've never done anything but be an athlete. The entitlement is out of control. They think the league owes them something beyond their paycheck by just being there. The truth is unless he becomes the top 1% of football players no one is going to think much about Tre White once he retires. In truth I think he is a good player, but outside of football I could care less. If Tre White opts out or goes to a new team, someone else will take his place. No one is irreplaceable.
-
If Tre really means what he is saying about a game thats not bigger than life he should retire now. His job could literally leave him with a legitimate long term brain injury which could leave his "girl" (if he decides to marry her), and his son with dealing with someone like Darryl Talley. Sure he won't make millions of dollars, but football really is bigger than life, isnt it?
-
He may of kept it reserved, but having a fear for your family's safety and exposing yourself to the virus at all makes no sense to me. For the most part he will be with the same people he will come into contact with everyday the entire season, except one day a week. I see absolutely no sense in being that worried about your family, exposing yourself to a bunch of new people, and then deciding after two weeks the fear is too much. You think Tre isnt going shopping? Not ever going out to eat? Quarantining 24-7 to ensure his family's safety. Give me a break. At some point we all need to measure the truth, and not continue living by fear. And if these guys are really that scared, shut the mother down.

Is Tremaine ready to break out?
thenorthremembers replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As much as Milano drives me crazy at times because of over running his lanes, I think he is a more impact linebacker. Tremaine doesnt overrun his lanes because he is slow to react. He doesnt need to be a thumper to be great, I just think he has slow instincts. If I had to pick between resigning Milano and Edmunds, I'd choose Milano. -
Is Tremaine ready to break out?
thenorthremembers replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know it's not the most popular opinion on this board but I think Tremaine is incredibly overrated due to his size. I love his leadership ability and his potential, but he seems to me as someone the Bills like to publicize as their next great superstar, when he is in fact only an above average player at his position. People like to point to his age as being one of the reasons he hasn't reached his full potential, I would argue he isn't even the best 21 year old inside linebacker in the NFL, Devin White is easily as good as Tremaine, maybe better over a full season. I also think it's not absurd to say he took a little bit of a step backwards last year compared to his rookie season. If you look at his play, he very good in coverage for a guy his size, but he continues to struggle in play recognition and run support. When it comes to pass rush, I think he has a lot to offer, but he really isnt utilized that way in McDermott's defense. Who knows maybe they open it up for him more this year. Bottom line is he probably isnt a top 15 player at his position in the league right now. The way the Bills have handled him PR wise reminds me a ton of the Aaron Williams and Eric Woods of the worlds. They were good players who were constantly publicized as "Is this the Year" types. I wish the best for the kid, but in reality I think we've seen what he is. -

We should know in a few weeks whether my wife had it in late February. Walked around for weeks not being able to breathe, trouble sleeping, etc. She has asthma so we just chalked it up to that. -
Eagles HC Pederson positive for Covid.
thenorthremembers replied to Bubba Gump's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All of this is getting incredibly out of hand. He tested positive, he is asymptomatic or is he on his way to a ventilator? It seems like everyone that tests positive is lumped into the same category, when it couldn't be further from the truth. At this point just start all sports on November 4th. A lot of people have already had it without knowing it.
