Why do you think the Jaguars have a bad o-line? Four of their five starters were 2nd or 3rd round draft picks, and the 5th is one of the highest paid centers in the NFL. They were above average when it came to pass blocking, but they could run block. Agree to disagree I guess.

Singletary averaged a yard a carry more than Fournette last year. Fournette may be talented, but he is not as good of a football player, and thats what actually matters here.

The guy has never played a full season in his career, requires a ton of carries to get the production you're talking about. The only reason he had the season he had last year was because the Jaguars called his number close to 400 times. On top of being an average running back, he is a total malcontent. Sometimes, stats only tell you so much. I dont think his 4 yards a carry is worth having him in the locker room. If he was a guy that brought some veteran leadership to the room great, but at this point he is essentially a jerk who isnt any better than what you already have.

No thank you. Unless Zack Moss is serious hurt, there is no reason to sign Fournette. It is the exact opposite of what I'd expect Beane to do. The guy is completely overrated and living off his college career.

You only cut veterans when you've found a younger cheaper player who can play as well or better than them. This is why guys like DiMarco, and Roberts stick, they dont have better players already on the roster. So rather than cutting the veteran taking the cap hit, and then having to sign another street free agent for an additional cap hit, they keep the guy who can already do the job. When/if Allen signs his second contract the Bills will rely on draft picks they have made in previous years still on rookie contracts, thats why drafting is so important. I was, there was really no offseason to speak of, but now that football is nine days away I am ready to go. It will be weird not seeing fans in the stadium but having pizza and football on a Sunday again will be one of the more normal things to happen all year.

As good as McFadden was he should have been the next Adrian Peterson. He either had a ten cent brain or really didnt care about football that much. Still had a long career but he should have been a world beater with all the talent he had. I get the same sense with Fournette, he stopped being Leonard Fournette the day he became a millionaire.
