If You Could Take One Bill to Lunch...
thenorthremembers replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McDermott. Really look up to the guy and the way he lives his life, and helps to shape others. He seems to be a hell of a leader, and I could use some tips in that department. -
He fought a team not a player. Youre not changing my opinion of him. The guy has all the talent in the world and no brains. On your Diggs comment, he may be a headcase who knows but at the very least he loves football, I dont get that sense ftom Fournette at all. Its why one guy was traded for a 1st round pick and the other guy is a street free agent right now. The fact that the Jaguars couldnt get a 5th round pick for him should tell you all you need to know. We can go back and forth all day or at least until the tweet comes that this isnt even a consideration for the team.

Dude he literally fought our entire team in the tunnel last year, what more evidence do you need? Great he is a 1,000 yard rusher, so was Carlos Hyde- 1,000 yards doesnt make you a good back anymore. You think he is good, I think he is a waste of talent. I am glad the Bills dont have interest in him for real.

I'd be in.

The guy has never played a full season in his career, requires a ton of carries to get the production you're talking about. The only reason he had the season he had last year was because the Jaguars called his number close to 400 times. On top of being an average running back, he is a total malcontent. Sometimes, stats only tell you so much. I dont think his 4 yards a carry is worth having him in the locker room. If he was a guy that brought some veteran leadership to the room great, but at this point he is essentially a jerk who isnt any better than what you already have.

Saints possibly open to trading Kamara

I knew they werent trading him the second I heard this report yesterday "The Saints feel like Latavius Murry and Ty Montgomerey are having fantastic offseasons and can carry the load" -
Gilliam now listed at TE on roster

Please tell me of this magical cap you speak of? For I have never heard of it, and am just a meager peasant with no real knowledge of Foosball.... Sorry but successful teams don't put a bunch of street free agents and undrafted college kids on their roster and hope to win. Thats the Ralph Wilson and Doug Whaley method and it doesnt work. You only cut veterans when you've found a younger cheaper player who can play as well or better than them. This is why guys like DiMarco, and Roberts stick, they dont have better players already on the roster. So rather than cutting the veteran taking the cap hit, and then having to sign another street free agent for an additional cap hit, they keep the guy who can already do the job. When/if Allen signs his second contract the Bills will rely on draft picks they have made in previous years still on rookie contracts, thats why drafting is so important. I see what you're saying but if you want to put this argument up over Reggie Frickin Gilliam you may want to choose a new hill to die on. You'll notice I wasnt talking about signing Clowney....I was talking about a fullback. -

One of the cooler angles I've ever seen on a twitter cell phone video. Very nice. -
As good as McFadden was he should have been the next Adrian Peterson. He either had a ten cent brain or really didnt care about football that much. Still had a long career but he should have been a world beater with all the talent he had. I get the same sense with Fournette, he stopped being Leonard Fournette the day he became a millionaire.
