Any thoughts on our individual DL players

Understood, but the play you're referencing doesnt exist given the penalty (warranted or not). To me Hughes is paid way too much for the production he puts out. -

Its hard to say without seeing the snap counts, but popular opinion or not, I think Jerry Hughes has been bad since 2019. You can get 4.5 sacks a year from someone who makes a lot less money. Sick of hearing about how much pressure he gets. Get home and make plays. He and Vernon Butler are both a giant waste of money. If we are speaking specifically about yesterday, Oliver, Rousseau, Addison, and Zimmer were all very good. Hughes, Butler, Epenesa, and Phillips were all pedestrian at best, and non-existent at worst. -

To this day I dont know how they watched Haack punt in Miami last year and think, "thats the guy we need!" Terrible move. -

I hear ya. The penalties were tough sledding. I hate when we draw Hussey because I know there will be a lot called that are ticky tack. Odd how they waited to run Singletary later in the game. Would hope for them to run earlier in the game to slow down the pass rush and setup the pass, or at the very least use the screen game to keep the defense honest. Seems like Daboll is happy to live and die on Allen's arm. -

I agree, both defenses were good. But it went beyond two plays. The scary part, is the plays we left on the field were the same plays that continue to haunt us. Josh had a touchdown to Sanders he couldnt complete, sloppy when moving with the ball, #2 CB continues to be an issue, no pass rush, and the oline is a big problem against good defensive lines. -
Pizza and wings from the best Orleans County has to offer, Roadies, and a few Bills themed Beers. Hoping the wings are as hot as the Bills' offense and the beers are as cold as Big Ben's dead arm.

Week 1: Steelers at Bills
thenorthremembers replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Steelers coaches and fans seem pretty cocky for a team starting a 4th round rookie at left tackle. Josh Allen isnt the only Bills player that will be on the field Sunday fellas. -
Hes nearing 60, it happens. He'll just go on whatever steroid cycle the Rock is on if he needs to get in shape.

The problem with WWE trying to be kid friendly, is their shows are on when mosr kids are asleep. They dont have Saturday mornings like they did when I was a kid. AEW has me interested in turning on wrestling again. Much better than old ECW which was appealing for violence and sex appeal. A lot closer to 90s WCW. Its turning into a very good product.

Thank you both. Tried a range extender last football season, didnt seem to work, however I wouldnt say I am super tech savvy either. Ill give this other stuff a look. Appreciate it a great deal. Go Bills!

9/11 - where were you on the day that changed history?
thenorthremembers replied to RobbRiddick's topic in Off the Wall
I was on my way to the recording studio with the band I was in at the time. We were listening to Stern and even though you wanted to think it was a sick joke, you could tell by the tone of Howard's voice that it was real life. The first thing I said to the guys was "I bet it's Bin Laden." No one else really had a clue who he was at that point. We spent the rest of the day recording but taking breaks to watch the events unfold on this small antenna television. It felt like the end of the world. -

I heard McDermott takes laxatives daily to let his body adjust to them, just in case this exact scenario happens. This way his body will just see it as part of the process, and hold the BM until after the game. -

and they still lost by 58. If you think this is odd, check out their wrestling team. And no I am not making a joke. They have a guy who looks like a WWE Superstar. -

Yes sir. Was projected as a 1st round pick going into his senior season. Didnt have much position flex or speed, and didnt play very well as a 3-4 DE, so his stock plummeted a bit. His brother also plays in the NFL and His Mother is the Mayor of Provo Utah. For what its worth she isnt a great pass rusher either. -

I am old enough to remember Bronson Kafusi being drafted in the 3rd round as a Defensive End. -

Possibly. I think a lot of people believed the COVID lie with Cam. There was this narrative that he was really good prior to going on the COVID List in week 4. The reality is he had two sub par games, and looked good against a terrible Seattle defense. He had 6 sub 200 yard passing games, and 4 sub 100 yard passing games, essentially Tyrod Taylor but with a hell of a lot more turn overs. The problem with Cam at this point of his career is he isnt good enough to be a starter, and he is too much of a name and distraction to have as your backup. -

There were plenty of better options, including Jacoby Brissett who played in the NE system. It's not like New England was up against the cap. Cam played in 15 games last year and threw 8 touchdowns, he is horrendous. Bill chose hubris over common sense.
