  1. Both guys are paid top 15 at their position. Poyer was a 26 year old backup when the Bills signed him six years ago, and he just signed an extension 2 years ago. This is the second time in two years his wife has made a stink about money. Love the player, love the energy, but hate the drama. Starting to hope its Poyer who is dealt on draft night. Guy is acting like his success came 100% from his work. While that is part of it, his opportunity from the Bills, and his coaches also played a big part in him getting to this point in his career. Hope the Bills "settle" for someone else. And in doing so I hope they "settle" on sending this guy to the Panthers or Texans. Where he can have his money and "settle" for losing every week. Have no pity for a guy living in a mansion making 10 million dollars a year who cries underpaid. Really have no pity for a guy who lets his wife do his talking for him. She wants to go ahead and "stand up" for Micah too? Doesnt she realize the moment Poyer gets more money its less for Micah? Give me a break.
  2. What current Coach has close ties to the family? If Cutcliffe was at a better program I think he'd have a lock on him, but with Duke being so far away from Louisiana I dont see it happening. My money is on Ole Miss or Alabama. Ole Miss has the history with the family, Kiffin has NFL bloodlines, and is a former QB, makes a lot of sense. However, Alabama is still close to the family and I am not sure he is going to get better coaching anywhere else in the NCAA.
  3. 1 of these things is not like the others.
  4. Wait...Tom Green County?
  5. Yet you'll still have a bunch of people telling you otherwise because of one gameplan from 32 years ago.
  6. The player is the key. You can move money around. You cant teach Sauce Gardner to be Jalen Ramsey. Huge risk to give up multiple picks for a player who doesnt have the ball in his hands ever
  7. So we give up as much to get Sauce Gardner as the Rams did to get Jalen Ramsey?
  8. Volbeat is a great live band. Was surprised at how much they sounded like their recordings.
  9. In the last five years there have been four guys to be in the top 15 in receptions when 30 years and older, Julio Jones, Demaryius Thomas, Larry Fitzgerald, and Antonio Brown. Not sure if that speaks to the narrowness of the category, 15 is a small sample size for 32 teams who start at least two wideouts per team, or the lack of wideouts starting after 29 years old. That said, Diggs has had his two best years in the NFL at 27 and 28 years old.
  10. Of all places to live around here...why Lockport? No wonder they called him Mega Hand and not Mega Mind.
  11. I dont see the upside in trading the guy right now. His last two years have been the best of his career, he is incredibly close with your franchise QB, and he probably has 3-4 really good years left in the tank. Sure you cut salary, but who replaces him? Gabe Davis? An unproven rookie? Any veteran you bring in thats worth his weight will cost you what Diggs costs anyways. Unless Diggs doesnt want to be here, which doesnt seem likely, why is this even a question right now? They'll have the money to pay him next year, to me its a non-issue, and a product of the boring offseason.
  12. Is this still available and if so what are you looking for?
  13. I am not of the belief that Lawson makes the team. As you mentioned Epenesa is on a rookie deal, so for me, with them being so hard up against the cap, negates any conversation of production. But if I am being honest, I think Hughes is to the point in his career, where yes, Epenesa is as impactful. Espenesa had 1.5 sacks in 330 snaps where Hughes had 2 in 558. To me Hughes is washed. I disagree. I think he is a replacment level player who struggles mightily to get home. His value may be more to a young DE room, but I wouldnt pay him more than minimum for that. He is a 33 year old player who has 11 sacks in the last three years combined. Not sure who is looking to pay a vet for 3.5 sacks a year when a much younger player can do the same.
  14. Guy has been a great Buffalo Bill. But if he is being honest with himself he will retire. The thing he can't change is that he doesn't have it anymore. Hit a wall three years ago, and has been living off of pressures since then.
  15. Something tells me it's not going to work with the Government. I've been sending them money from my check every week for years and they never seem to go away.
  16. I think you completely missed my point. I wasnt complaining about my life, I was making the point that I pay into a ton of programs, that literally help my family in no way shape or form. So when something comes into play that I actually use and dont mind paying for, I dont need to hear people crapping all over it. The 800 million dollar tax cut for "Children and Family Services" has literally no correlation to the Pegula's getting government subsidies for the stadium, its a ploy by a hack writer to play on people's emotions, and it worked perfectly. How many people that saw that tweet, retweeted the tweet, or even the writer himself, actually knows one program associated with the cuts? You came on here to try and shame me, but instead you throw out stats like "A vast majority" when you literally have no idea how many people abuse the system. It may be 5% or 95%, you have no clue. But you continue to pay into, because the state mandated it, and deep down it makes you feel good, like you're doing something good for your fellow human, when in reality the state isn't doing anything but chaining them and future generations of their families to continued poverty. Also, stop using that "if people in other parts of the world" line, its trite. It's the same ignorant agenda people were pumping on social media and the news when the gas prices first went up. "Well, you may have to pay a lot for gas, but at least you dont have to worry about bombs, like the people in Ukraine." Just because one injustice is more severe than another injustice, it doesnt make the lesser of two evils not evil. That sort of thinking is the exact sort of garbage that made Nazi Germany possible.
  17. He benefited from one year of good Ryan Fitzpatrick. He is 26-41 as a head coach, and thats with one year of 10-6. He will probably win games because of Brady, but lets get it straight, he isnt a good head coach. He stands on the sidelines looking stunned most of the time.
  18. NYS is a disaster in overspending and the Bills stadium is the least of it. Tell me why I see people buying enough Subway subs to feed an army on their EBT cards while I am waiting in line to pay 4.50 a gallon for gas? Tell me why my kid gets lead poisoning from the paint in my house but I cant get a subsidy because I make too much pre tax even though I pay over a 1000 dollar a month in student loans to get the job that pays me too much. Tell me why I watched people getting 500 dollars a week to not work during the pandemic? Tell me why politicians in our area have no issue giving themselves a pay raise out of our pockets but cry to the media when its about a stadium? People who dont make much have plenty of options for help. I pay astronomical school taxes when my kids dont go to public school. The tweet is a hack job. I am going to go ahead and enjoy paying for the stadium. If Dan Price cares so much about the funding of programs he likely knows nothing about he can choose to take money out of his own pocket to donate. Screw him and his hyperbole.
  19. Wont be listening in to find out.
  20. If Denzel is a Christian then he is talking about the actual forces of good and evil. So both, the actual devil pushing Smith to choose his anger and ego over mercy and grace. Looked like WWE to me. Rocks seems to lean to the side he gets hit in right before it happens. With a bunch of people who lie for a living its hard to tell whats true.
  21. Just way too sad man. Too young, Father of teenagers, and husband to a wife. Just feel gutted for everyone involved.
  22. Its been discussed here. Pegula never threatened anything. It was a "report" that the team may move to Austin if they didnt get the Stadium. It was and continues to be total conjecture. Plus the caption is a total hack job.
  23. With Saffolds age, I fully expect them to draft a guard. That player ends up being your swing guard. In a pinch, Mancz has also played guard. On the Williams thing, he better be motivated to play for less than what he made the last few years, getting kind of long into free agency to be looking for money like that.
  24. Saffold is a LG, which makes Bates expendable. If Bates signs with the Bears, the Bills will more than likely bring Daryl Williams back at a lower rate and keep the same line they had last year, albeit with Saffold in over Bates.
