We initially traded Dareus for a sixth round conditional pick that turned into a fifth. The initial fifth round pick turned out to be Wyatt Teller. I've always wondered how much input McDermott has on these trades too. I'd love to be a fly on the wall. If McDermott says, "Hey, our guy Cody is there at pick ______, you think you can get him?" I truly feel that these two love working together and feed off of each other. it could just be that McDermott sits back and trusts Beane too.

Cam Akers. He's a monster and is every bit of an NFL running back. I'm not sure how his ability and skill set / production is 3rd round. He had a down year last year after they lost a great coach and went to a terrible coach. I think he will end up being the best RB of this class.

1) AJ Terrell is incredibly overrated. 2.) Patrick Queen will have a Darius Leonard type impact for whichever team he goes to and be DROY.

If it’s Vosean Joseph, hes a MLB and was on IR. If it’s Jaquan Johnson... he was ST guy last year.

So let me break this down. Kawann Short has a great year playing next to Star. Star leaves. Kawann's play falls off... significantly. Is this a coincidence? JP was a decent player. He begins to play next to Star and he becomes a much better player. Is this a coincidence? Obviously (maybe not for you), JP has not played without Star and we have no way of knowing if his play will fall off, right now.

Levi Wallace is a corner, he doesn't open up holes for linebackers to make plays nor does he take pressure off of the guys next to him. I can't tell if you're being a child with that statement or if you just don't understand football.

Explain this, please. We have a pro-bowl second year LB. We have Jordan Phillips that benefited from him to the point we aren't even going to resign him. We had a top 3 defense in the NFL and he started. He started for the best defense in the NFL when McDermott was in Carolina.... this guy gets so much hate for being a pretty darn good player at his position.

Tom Brady has done this and turned his salary in to guaranteed money a few times.. i'm pretty sure that's what they did with Star. I'm not sure he took a pay cut but took a restructured deal to count less against the cap. I could be wrong. Either way, if you genuinely believe he is the worst FA signing of the last 5 years.... you have no watched Bills football. If contract, etc is included, Kroft is worse than Star tbh.

To be fair, he's been hurt. Reshad Jones is a great player. I don't think we need "veteran leadership" there as we have Hyde (and Poyer). I'd much rather like to see Karl Joseph brought in or even someone like Jayron Kearse.

I don't know Kurt Coleman's status... but if he walks, Reshad Jones just hit the market too. I'd love to see him and Karl Joseph at least LOOKED at!

If this is a reflection of the Bills evaluation of WR's, is it not a reflection of all other 31 teams? It's the XFL, they are not being covered by the same caliber of DB's. They saw him in practice everyday and if they thought he needed more time, I have no reason not to believe their evaluation. If Star was cut today, he'd sign another 7-8 million AVV contract.. This board wants this guy to get sacks and that's it. That's just not him. He is a good player. This being the worst signing is absolutely ridiculous.

From what came out after, there wasn't even a deal in place. As for the actual poll. I love the culture, I think the roster is getting better. It just seemed like last year at times, they weren't letting Josh Allen be Josh Allen. I think this off-season and season is going to be a huge tell of McDermott and Co.
