  1. Yeah, i never understood that......they are beyond terrible.
  2. good......pay the man.
  3. Do yourselves a favor and watch some Michigan and FSU games, not just YouTube highlights, but some actual full game footage and then tell me you don't like this kid. It's not just about the highlight reels, it's about the game aspects that you won't find on YouTube or social media. .......i'll wait.
  4. The funny thing is that everyone loves this pick for this franchise. I haven't heard or read even one person say it was a bad pick for the Bills (i agree), however, Bills fans in all of their infinite wisdom and YouTube knowledge are the first ones to berate it and then, say our FO is wrong.......you know, when they were wrong about drafting JA, so i take this all with a grain of salt cause i've witnessed what this kid can do and he is electric. Could it be that Bills fans are wrong?..........never, just ask them.
  5. I can tell by most of the threads and posts berating the pick, that they've never watched him play at Michigan or FSU and only watched a YouTube video, so they must be accurate talent evaluators......UGH. I'm telling you, this kid has talent, he's got grit, he's hungry, he's a big bodied WR who will punish guys at the LOS to create space, he strives for YAC and never gives up on a play.........this kid is going to be electric.
  6. I don't think we're looking to play the outside very much anymore unless the play is there. I don't think we're going to force the outside. I think our philosophy lately is to dominate the middle and rely on YAC, something this team has never really had under this regime. My opinion only, but i see our roster being built for the middle and vastly limiting our outside play........and don't say it can't be done. NE dominated every team for 20 years with the exact same philosophy. They were ahead of the curve and most teams are just starting to figure it out. I'm happy that at least this regime recognizes that what we were doing wasn't working, so rebuild the roster with younger hungry talent and change tactics. I'm all for it.
  7. Well, Beane and our FO seem to think we've done enough and if it's alright with them, then it's alright with me........i'm no GM and whatever they've done up to this point, seems to be working, albeit haphazardly, but i can only hope they know what they are doing to get us over the hump.
  8. When i was watching this kid at FSU, people were crowding the stands just to see what he would do next. People were waiting with bated breath to see more and in total awe at some of the unrealistic plays he made every week........sound familiar, sound like anyone on our roster already, sound like a guy that most fans were disappointed with the pick at the time and that our FO chose the wrong guy? You all know who i'm talking about.......give the kid a chance. I'm telling you, having these 2 guys together is going to be electric.
  9. Here's the thing......as much as team don't want to admit it, NE was ahead of the curve for like 20 years against the rest of the league. How many times did Brady throw long bombs?.....maybe a handful when they had Moss, but the rest of his throws for 20 years was over the middle, dink and dunk, carve and slice up the middle with decent WR's and a dominant TE and rely on them to make whatever YAC the D would allow. This philosophy dominated the entire league for 20 years. KC has been using it for the past 3 years, so it was only a matter of time before we started using it. We have decent WR's, a good, maybe great TE and finally have somewhat of a running game........fans like to moan that we're in worse shape this year than last and i disagree. Our philosophy is changing and so too must our roster and play calling. We'll be fine.
  10. Here's the team's philosophy in a nutshell..... Dominate the middle of the field. Instead of relying on the long bombs, make plays in the middle of the field with RPO's, slants, crossing routes, etc. and let your WR's make a play and earn some YAC......kind of like a hybrid West Coast Offense. The game has changed, and the long plays are just not as prevalent as they used to be. Teams are changing their philosophies in terms of plays, coverage, priorities, etc. I didn't see it at first, but i am starting to figure it out and lean towards what we're trying to do here......and i like it. McD wants a more balanced team?......this is it.
  11. The only Debbie i know is the one who does Dallas......
  12. I do blame Diggs in a small way; however, he isn't the one putting the roster together.
  13. Looks like another slot guy. Jesus man, i think Beane is just getting too desperate at this point........i just puked a bit in my mouth.
  14. It's a sad, sad day when i am the voice of reason around here.
  15. Agreed......this has been an excellent draft for us so far and it's a shame that more fans can't see that.
  16. For anyone denouncing this pick, how are you so sure that he will be a failure and not work out for us? Just curious as to why people think it's not a good pick..... Speed?.......yes, he had the slowest 40, however, he had the fastest gauntlet and pass-arounds at the combine by any WR in the past 2 years What else you got?
  17. You know it's only like day 2 of the draft, right?........plenty more picks coming, my man.
  18. I've watched Duke all year and I love this pick. He has his flaws, but he is highly coachable.
  19. Bishop is a solid player......i don't know if he even would have made it out of the 2nd.
  20. I might be in the minority here, but i like our picks so far........gritty, grind it out, hardworking lunchpail players.
  21. Yes sir. They are trying to own the middle of the field......create mismatch nightmares and rely on YAC......more like death by a thousand cuts.
  22. Ive watched Coleman at Michigan and FSU..... The kid has immeasurable tangibles that fit right in with our roster.......he's big, athletic, his hands are ball magnets, he's physical and can be a mismatch nightmare anywhere on the field. Don't let the combine fool you.......yes, his 40 time was slow, however, he had the best time in the gauntlet and the pass-arounds from all other WR's there. Think about that, you pancake eating mother-****ers. I like the pick. I can see what our coaching staff is trying to put together here. I didn't see it recently, but i'm seeing the roster they are trying to build and the philosophy behind it. Regardless of what our armchair GM's on these boards think, it was a good pick. I have spoken.
  23. I was honestly a little pissed off last night cause i stayed up till 11:30 knowing i had to get up early in the morning for a work meeting and nothing much happened in the first round, but now that i had a chance to catch some zzzzzzzzzzz's in the office this morning, i'm feeling good about what Beane did last night. He created some draft pick capital with great value and i'm sure he's got a plan going forward.
  24. Alright, i'm weighing in on this..... You're not wrong with what you're saying about Worthy. Reid is going to scheme the hell out of him and force D's into some bad decisions and positions, we all know that. Now, think of an O with Mahomo, Kelce, Pacheco, Worthy, etc......who does the D cover? They have added a weapon that will make it hard to defend on every square inch of the field and we have to hope that our HC can figure it out. I know that right now it feels like KC is our daddy, however, let's let the rest of the draft play out and see what we're left with, is all i'm saying.
  25. I'm saying nothing of the sort. I was answering another question a poster had of why we didn't take Worthy......if our FO wanted him so badly, they would have traded up for him or did they really expect that he would fall to 28 and take him then. I don't even know what the **** you're talking about?!?
