Yeah, i've never been into the Dead......i had buddies when i was growing up who were actual "Deadheads" and followed the band around all over North America for like 37 straight concerts, but i never got into it. It just wasn't "my thing".

Not to be "that guy", but i thought he's been dead for about 10-12 years already.

Caleb Williams WILL play against Buffalo on Saturday
Sweats replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
The worst part is the commentators will be drooling all over him all game long about his pick status in the draft, he's the 2nd coming of Manning/Brady, how he can do no wrong, etc. If ever i wanted to see a "bounty" implemented in the NFL, just one afternoon would be all it would take.........probably even less than 10 minutes for that payday. -
I also re-read it......i didn't like it the first time.

Facial recognition software FOR SOME EMPLOYEES at stadiums this year.
Sweats replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Walmart, Target, Home Depot, etc. have been doing this for years for anti-theft deterrent reasons....even if the stores know you are stealing, they will allow you to walk out, for the most part unscathed, but keep your face recognition profile on file until your gradual theft reaches around $1,500, where it then changes from a misdemeanor to a felony....once it reaches that point, they can not only legally prosecute you to the full extent, they can legally publish your name and likeness. When the thieves think they are pretty smart, big brother is smarter. -
Not to be "that guy", but before this footage, most of downtown Buffalo already looked like a tornado barreled through it.........sorry, not sorry.

What’s Your Most Memorable Bills Game?
Sweats replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ive got 2 games..... * the no punt slugfest game against SanFran at Candlestick (early 90's)......that game was back and forth, with absolutely no D in sight on both sides * Monday night game (early 90's), the Bills against the Rams.......Bills were down with only seconds to go, Reed makes a catch and actually carries a defender on his back to the goal line, setting up the game winning score for the Bills to win -
Bills have converted an absurd 49.0% of 3rd downs since 2020
Sweats replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
I never once implied the stats would be terrible......i asked a simple question and seeing as how i am much too lazy to look up stats, i rely on others to do the work for me, so thank you, sir. -

Sweats replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Now, someone throw the stats out here where opposing teams have converted on our D........that, is what actually matters when it comes to 3rd down stats. -

That's why i don't put a lot of fluff into the whole JA INT problem......i'd rather see JA lob the ball up on a 3rd down (whether he makes it or not, i really don't care) and just see what happens. If it's a catch and we get a 1st down, then alright it's game on, however, if it gets intercepted, then who really cares cause at the end of the day, you want JA making plays, not our punters. Now, if he's intercepted on 1st or 2nd down, then yeah, bring out the angry mobs with the torches and pitchforks......but 3rd down for me is a gamble, so just let the boy play and it's game on. -
We all know that JA is a beast in the playoffs......it's the D that consistently ****s the bed every year.

I only care what Fins fans have to say cause they are definitely wrong about everything........whatever they say, im leaning in the opposite direction.

Was that the game with the "he's giving him the business in there" penalty?

About 4 years ago, we had some neighbors shoot off a fireworks display out on the road......the whole thing tipped over and started firing shots all over the neighborhood......bouncing off houses, cars, kids..........no one was thankfully hurt, but we laughed and laughed.......ran for cover and called 911 and we laughed and laughed. Good times

Who was your all-time favorite player that was NOT on the Bills?
Sweats replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wow, where to start? In no particular order and to limit to just a few, it's gotta be Jim Brown, Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, Jerry Rice, Joe Montana, Bo Jackson.......but i could go for days with this list. -
I watched a discussion last night on the NFL network about Lamar Jackson and how dominant he has been since coming into the NFL.......i was like, what?!? No seriously, what?!? I just couldn't wrap my head around the discussion. I've always liked Burrow. He was the catalyst that sparked the LSU offense in college and has yet to ignite that powder keg in Cincy, but he's more of what i would call the "wild card"......just never know which Burrow is showing up every week. Now, JA on the other hand and i'm not just saying this cause he's a Bill, but the guy is the whole package. He might not get full credit for what he's doing in the league right now, but people will see it when he's going into the Hall of Fame. The dude is a "baller". He is a generational, one-of-a-kind talent.....think about it, who in the history of the league could you make him a comparison to? I honestly can't think of any other person in the history of the NFL that would be comparable to what we see from JA each and every week......not flashes every once in awhile, but consistently every week. And that alone, should make him the top QB in the league right now and first ballot Hall of Famer.

AFC Best Case Worst Case Season Outlook July Edition
Sweats replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
Best case scenario - we finally go to a SB in the McD era and also, the girl with the big jugs working the fry-o-lator at the concession stand finally goes out with me. Worst case scenario - we **** the bed, win nothing and Miami leapfrogs us to finally prove its AFCEast dominance. -
I actually love good commentators......it adds to the experience, however, a bad commentator just dampens the whole thing. Here's an example of good commentating.... I was watching an NHL hockey game one time, many years ago. This dude gets checked at the blue line, like i'm talking a massive hit and he starts sliding headfirst into the boards at top speed. The ad sign on the boards at the time was Texaco (an oil and gas company/service station).....as the guy is sliding into this Texaco sign, the commentator says, "fill er up, please".......and when the dude hit headfirst into the sign, the commentator says, ".....and you better check under the hood". Now, that is some commentating gold right there.
