Tua’s Broken Dome (now being placed on IR-out at least 4 games)
Sweats replied to RunTheBall's topic in The Stadium Wall
Of course they can't "force" him to retire, but they can give him a little nudge.....they can definitely suggest to players and organizations and agents, when a player should start looking at retirement over health concerns. Tua is one major hit away from drinking out of a sippy cup and riding the short bus the rest of his life......i don't wish that on anyone. -
Tua’s Broken Dome (now being placed on IR-out at least 4 games)
Sweats replied to RunTheBall's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is a good topic for me to chime in one...... The Fins have been irresponsible with Tua's safety in the past......they know it, Tua knows it, the league knows it and yet, no one steps in. The league promotes the concussion protocol, which they have upped their standards as of late and yet, a guy like Tua gets shrugged off and thrown back into the games. The whole Fins organization should be ashamed of themselves, the league should get looked at and force Tua into retirement before he cripples himself. Also, Tua's head dive on Thursday night was irresponsible from a guy with prior concussions. He should have slid, he was shown how to slide properly and i believe he was trying to play "hero ball", due to his 2 previous INT's and trying to do too much. My 2 cents.- 495 replies

Wanted out of Minny and eventually wanted out of Buffalo, so leading anything other than being a cancerous, "me first" stat means nothing to a team mentality. Don't even get me started on trading for Diggs when we could have taken Jefferson debate.

I seriously never understood the trade to bring him over here in the first place........i didn't like him in Minny, hated it even more on the Bills.

Honestly, i have no idea what's going on with that franchise.......it's actually kind of refreshing as years ago, i used to say the same thing about my Bills.

Bills vs Jags Game Week Thread - MNF
Sweats replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
We never match up with the Jags well, however with that being said, i love when the Bills play them as the Jags are somewhat of a barometer for this team because we rarely beat them these days and they always play us tough. -
Well, seeing as how this is Brady's 2nd go and not fairing real well the Carolina in the first place, i would have to say Babich.....i think in a couple of years if Brady can prove himself a little more, then he will be a top candidate, but i don't think the rest of the league has put him on that pedestal just yet.

If you could get a day 2 pick for Cook would you pull the trigger…
Sweats replied to julian's topic in The Stadium Wall
You sure about that? When Cook was at Georgia, he was known as a RB who could catch, not as a WR that could be a RB.......and to say that NO ONE expected him to become the type of RB he has become is a truly false statement. Many people expected Cook to finally put it all together and "turn it on", albeit it has taken longer than most had expected and hoped, however, he is doing exactly what he was supposed to do since coming into the NFL, which is why he was a draft candidate in the first place. I'm not sure where you thought you were going with your post, however....... -
Now don't get me wrong, but shouldn't we be more focused on charitable events promoting employment opportunities or food banks or shelters for the poor and homeless, etc. in a stagnant economy where people in our local communities are hurting and suffering? I'm just saying, maybe look at your own local charity opportunities. You want to help someone?........start in your own community. My opinion.

All i know is that our D detained Hill faster than the police after the 1st quarter

Sadly, the Fins will clear Tua no matter the circumstances and he will continue to play, even when the rest of the league thinks he should hang it up.......they've done it before in the past, which tells me they will continue to do it unless the league steps in.

.......acceptance is the first step.

Are you the guy who messes with all my stuff?.......
-
No one likes me........i got problems.

So, you did all the work for the OP.........You see, now you remind me of the people in my office........some do no work, some do all the work and some just pretend to do some work. You looking for a raise?
-
I actually don't mind them.......i mean, they ain't no Bucs creamsicle or Houston powder blue, but for a throwback, it could be worse.
-
So, you want someone else to do all the work for you?........what cubicle are you in cause you must work in the same office as me with those work ethics.

I'm of the mindset that if something goes wrong, then there is a reason for it..........cause and effect, so to speak. This debacle nonsense excuse that teams don't know how to defend the new KO is lazy, uninspiring and irresponsible. It is the poor man approach to excuses. If your team is in the right position and doing their job, then the run to the endzone doesn't happen. Oh, but Sweats, somebody was blocked in the back and couldn't make the play......Well, it's not kindergarten out there and the boys aren't at recess with their drink boxes. You put on your big boy pants, and you go out there and make a play, do your job (for most of the ST's, it's the only job they have, i might add) and if you screw up, you own it and cry to your wife/girlfriend after the game. Also......our ST's blows. I have spoken.

Rousseau named AFC Defensive Player of the Week
Sweats replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Any time Tua doesn't win anything, it's a good week. -
What the hell did i just walk into here?!? Serious question.......do you suffer from cataracts?........limited vision?.........blurred vision?..........blindness?

I think your grades are pretty fair. The WR's did their job, the RB's got whatever available yardage they could, the TE's (although not overly exerted) did what was asked for blocking schemes and a couple of critical catches and JA?.....well, that boy is a flat-out baller and if you **** around, you're gonna find out. The D was dismal in the 1st half, but turned it on in the 2nd. ST's is a nightmare.

Browns fanbase/sports talk radio reminds me of the 2000s Bills
Sweats replied to G0BILLS's topic in The Stadium Wall
That was back when Brian Moorman was the face of the franchise........yep, our punter was leading the charge. Sad, sad, days indeed.
