  1. The song is basically the blue collar working man anthem. It has some elements of (what used to be) Democrat views and (what currently is) Republican views. I guarantee you that the blue collar working man in the Rust Belt/South identifies with this song. They aren’t all conservatives. Says a lot that only the left is attacking him. Heaven forbid he call out taxation and entitlement abuses in an otherwise working class/forgotten man ballad. The reason … it’s obvious - the left no longer cares about those people.. and furthermore, seems to resent them.
  2. Just following along with this Titans/Bears game on … that game is a banger. Big play after big play.
  3. Omg Spencer Brown…
  4. Leftist hit squad has been unleashed on the artist today. Servants of the state cannot handle any form of art that doesn’t glorify the degradation of society. Protest anthems are only allowed by the industry if they push the interests of the corporations that fund them.
  5. And Florida also plays one of the toughest schedules in CFB. I certainly buy the accuracy/numbers being down due to Allen playing in bad weather, with lower level players …. I’m not arguing that. I am saying AR played on a talent bereft (for the SEC) offense last year at UF. And played a tough schedule with a new coaching staff. He could flame out, but this isn’t like evaluating Tua out of college with that type of talent around him.
  6. Nice night for Buffalo South
  7. Eh, I agree to a point… Not everyone in the SEC is Alabama or Georgia. Or even Tennessee… he didn’t have a Tillman or Hyatt. He had an ok OL, led by Torrence. RB’s were good. However at WR/TE, their best WR was a slot guy, followed by our RD6 pick in Shorter.
  8. Cole Beasley looking on point for the Giants
  9. My issue is more with the staff/philosophy than it is with Elam. I understand his issues in practice and/or with zone coverage, but I've seen him play in games... in the biggest games of the year... and he held his own and made big plays. That's all I, as a fan of this team, can go off of. And all I can go off of was pretty darn good for a rookie cornerback.
  10. Amazing song. And while I don’t support him in the primary, if people want to know why Trump has such a die hard following… it’s because I guarantee you that song speaks to his followers more than anyone. People who, rightly or wrongly, perceive this country as moving to a place where they are low man on the totem pole, barely getting by, as their government tells them to go **** themselves.
  11. I follow UF a good bit and typically go to a game every year. Saw him in Gainesville last year against Utah and he's basically rookie year Josh Allen.. A lot of inaccuracy and bad decision making, but makes the wow plays every game that get you bought in.
  12. To the “wait and see” crowd, I don’t think that option exists in reality. The two options are basically as follows: -If the two sides can meet on a deal, lock him down before the season. -Gabe leaves in FA Im not sold either way.. but the “wait and see” option, imo, isn’t a thing.
  13. They open with two divisional games. Browns and Ravens.
  14. My pushback to this would be the following: Saffold was one of the worst starting OL in the NFL last year. He was that bad. Year 2 of Kromer’s system is typically when it clicks, according to guys that have played for him. Spencer Brown seems to be having a good camp. If that translates, we’re looking at LG and RT going from absolute disaster play to, at least, average play … which would be a noticeable jump in OL productivity.
  15. Basham seems obvious at this point. Maybe Settle, but with Oliver and Phillips coming off years where they were banged up quite a bit, I think they may decide to roll with 5 DT's. At DE.. Von, Rousseau, Floyd and AJE are locks. Basham has value given 2 years left on his rookie contract. Shane Ray could lock down DE5, or be someone we can get on the PS depending upon his preseason tape. I don't really see any other trade candidates. We have zero tackle depth, and while we do have IOL depth, I'm not sure who is wanting to send picks out for anyone like Boettger coming off injury or a late round pick in Nick Broeker.
  16. BODIES OF KIDS STACKED UP IN PARKS
  17. Does this mean we get a comp pick?
  18. As someone that is personally pro-life, it’s gross that it has to be this way.. but it is… Republicans have got to chill on this topic. Overturning Roe was a shock to the system, and going for the jugular isn’t the move. Most Americans believe in protections for unborn life at some point in the second trimester. They become uncomfortable with talk of bans, strict 6 week limits and random initiatives like in Ohio. R’s can win while being pro-life, but focusing on it will constantly backfire. Kemp passed a heartbeat ban, then won in a landslide. DeWine, in the above referenced Ohio passed a similar law, and then also won in a landslide. Take a step back. Chill out. And work on messaging. Because the media will run cover for Dems (we just saw it in the DeSantis interview) and right now, Republicans are taking it on the chin in both messaging and energy on this issue. Democrats are struggling on the economy, the border, crime and .. for the first time in my life .. Republicans are winning the culture wars, but Dems will summon the powers of Moloch and drown out all those advantages in ‘24 if R’s can’t counter/negate them on this.
  19. Covid & Trump broke Sam Harris Ive never seen such a respected person go on to routinely embarrass themselves over and over again because of two topics.
  20. If we extend Gabe, we're likely looking at needing to draft DL early and often next year. DL typically takes time to make an impact, especially outside the top 10 guys. You can draft a WR on Day 2 that immediately becomes a WR2 level player if you hit. Definitely a tough decision, but this aspect should come into play..
  21. I'm torn on this. Locking down Gabe "if" he makes the jump to high level WR2, would give us a fantastic Offensive core at the skill positions of Diggs, Davis, Knox, Kincaid and Cook locked down for multiple years together. That said.. It's probably easier to find an early impact WR2 in the draft than it is DL.. and after this year we only have 4 guys under contract in Von, Rousseau, Oliver and Basham - which could very well only be 3 before the season starts if Basham gets traded/cut.
  22. Is there a number you'd be willing to go to for him? Or just a no in general? I think I would be good with anything under or around 3yrs/40M. I have to think he wants more than that though.
  23. Sure.. Those with money and security can vote for whatever they want, knowing it will never affect them .. until it does. Until their connections don’t get their white kid into a school anymore, or they don’t get made partner because of a diversity promotion, or soft on crime policies make their way to the suburbs. The vast majority of people voting are somewhat (or very) dependent upon the government. That goes for whites, blacks, hispanic etc.. Thats common knowledge, despite your feeling the need to only highlight unskilled/uneducated white men. Left leaning cities are propped up by politicians providing crumbs to those dependent upon the government. Those, typically, aren’t white male voters. Those typically aren’t Republican leaders. Your example applies to all .. and is the basis of exploitation politics .. otherwise known as American democracy.
