  1. Same. I've heard only good things about Diggs-Davis-Harty-Sherfield. Shakir has been a mixed bag, and if I'm the Bills, I don't want to risk subjecting Shorter to waivers - plus he provides ST's ability while we develop him. That gives me 4 locks, and 1 guy who probably wouldn't clear waivers, provides ST ability and gives us a developmental hedge/true outside WR if Gabe leaves after this season. I wouldn't be opposed to moving Shakir for a Day 3 pick if there's suitors... especially if someone like Isabella steps up as a return man and/or we want to keep an extra TE given the battle between Morris & Sternberger, along with our increased 12 personnel identity.
  2. Shakir seems to be the most polarizing player of camp so far. Some reporters think he's been solid/stock up. Others keep highlighting him having an issue with drops.
  3. MLB is the only spot we got worse at. Our secondary has question marks, which - if answered positively - puts us in the running for a Top 5 unit in the league. Milano is an elite OLB. DL is vastly improved, and if Von comes back at even 80% of what he was … this is a Top 5 DL (on paper) with Von, Rousseau, Floyd, Oliver, Jones and Ford. If you take into account Allen & Gabe’s injuries last year, with the additions of Kincaid, Torrence and McGovern .. I think it’s safe to say that every positional unit on Offense is much improved. Singletary isn’t bad.. but I hated him on this offense. Give me speed or power at that position. We now have both. Areas of concern: -MLB -CB2 -OL -Health (Von, Hyde, Tre) We should be able to live with the drop off at MLB. We didn’t invest heavily there, and we will have weaknesses moving forward with Allen’s contract hitting. CB2 and OL do not have excuses.. CB2 should be a strength given the investment and OL should, at the very least, be a middle of the pack unit once we get into the regular season.
  4. Yea.. I very much appreciate what Elon has done with the platform, but he shoots from the hip with his ideas quite a bit. My guess is he wants X to become much more than what the Twitter brand was synonymous with, so this is him taking a short term hit to accomplish long term rebranding.
  5. ??? Twitter (X) is easily the go to app.
  6. The way people talk about Bernard, you'd think we have Deuce Vaughn out there at MLB..
  7. Especially since we have evidence of Elam performing in the biggest moments. Two playoff games. He stepped up and played well in both.
  8. Just had a 10 minute segment live from Bills camp on NFLN
  9. If Cook can just be serviceable in pass pro, he’s going to be a problem. He already showed last year that he can run between the tackles. And we know he has the speed to get outside, while possessing wide receiver skills in the passing game.
  10. Whew… that’s dirty. It also points to the Colts calling Taylor’s bluff … they clearly believe he’s lying. Colts fans seem to be siding with Irsay on this, in a quick glance at their board.
  11. If y’all hit on Ross, I’m going to lose my mind. That guy was elite at Clemson before the injury. Y’all already did it once with Trey Smith. Going to need this golden touch to wear off of your GM, thank you very much.
  12. Here’s my issue with this… -We hear how we had to pay Oliver because we need a proven 3T in this defense. -We hear how we need pass rushers off the edge, because well - I agree - this is obvious. -We hear how important high level Safety play is for the defense. -We needed to invest in CB2 opposite Tre .. that was the prevailing worry pre-draft two years ago. -Now we hear how important MLB is to the defense… Ok, we can’t have All-Pro’s at every position. Not EVERY position is imperative to this defense. If so, why tf do we have a defensive minded HC in Sean McDermott? When healthy, we trot out a starting 11 of: Von - Daquan - Oliver - Rousseau Milano - Johnson - ??? Tre - Elam/Jackson/Benford Hyde - Poyer With good depth at every position. I mean, cmon…. This defense better be a Top 5-6 unit based on talent alone.
  13. Agree on a lot of this, but im not trading Gabe unless someone blows us away with an offer. Even then, we have a Super Bowl roster and I’m not sure what trade package could be more impactful than Davis playing on a contract year and us getting a RD3 comp pick if he balls out and leaves in FA.
  14. If he hits, it’s not even that he was viewed as the best TE … Kincaid was viewed as a Top 10 talent by quite a few draft guys. The TE positional label may end up being the only reason he was available where we got him.
  15. I think the hope with a Gabe Davis Year 4 jump is due to the flashes he’s shown, mixed in with the fact he’s dealt with injuries quite a bit. The downside.. those injuries aren’t exactly one-offs.. he’s dealt with them since college. Reports from camp are he looks quicker and faster.. I will say that a healthy quicker faster Gabe Davis, with a legit option in the middle of the field in Knox/Kincaid, is likely in for a big season. Just depends if he can stay healthy.
  16. Between Irsay’s comments on Taylor and Jerry Jones on Martin, these GM’s are on one this week.. yeesh.
  17. I doubt he wants to get traded anywhere to play without a long term contract. So.. if people here want to trade for him, what are you willing to give up and what are you willing to pay him.. and for how long?
  18. This. Just a very strange year. The injuries were massive, positional groups one by one became decimated and everything on offense looked so much harder than KC or CIN, despite similar regular season results. Losing an All-Pro Safety and All-Pro Defensive End for the year was hard enough to overcome, let alone the few days where we worried Allen was out for the season. I was at the Rams game, and many of us left that game (foolishly) wondering if this team could go undefeated. As the season went on, injuries piled up, and the offense became big play or bust, I think many of started wondering, not if, but when, the season would go off the rails. Id say we all are too hard on our team, and I think for some of us that’s true.. but sentiment shifted in the media as well… Slowly but surely, KC & CIN passed us in the eyes of the media (along with nonsense hot takes about the Fins), and we all wanted to fight it but most of us knew, deep down, this team didn’t have it. Ever since the bye… the team just seemed lost. And everyone could tell. We just denied it until it came crumbling down in the Divisional Round. Waiting for them to hit the gas, but they were clearly running on empty after MNF in CIN.
  19. Agreed. I have mixed feelings on Gabe, and this year is certainly a “show me” year for him… but, trading him away, unless someone is offering a 1st makes no sense. Even then.. who’s playing opposite Diggs?… Just a constant rotation of slot guys with outside ability? Going to need to see a big camp from Kincaid and someone like Shorter to make trading Davis be anything but nonsensical.
  20. Obviously he will be coming to an AFC team near you soon.
  21. Doubt it. I think he has a set price that the he wants the Dolphins to pay, but will settle for the Jets if they pay. We’re not paying that.
  22. I think you can pay Davis, if he’s willing to be paid something that makes sense for us. Can never have enough quality playmakers. But if he wants high WR2 money .. yea, have to let him walk. Tremaine, I wanted no part in paying him even a team friendly contract. Investing in him, in any way, meant the defense had to play a certain way … and I think taking a step back in talent at that position, for a different skill set/play style on D… may be a net positive.
