It’s basically the Tucker Carlson wing of the party. -Nationalist -Distrust of Institutions -Freedom of Speech -Anti-War Given the fact Democrats have essentially become the party of consolidated power and elites, it’s no wonder there’s now a ton of crossover between former Bernie Bros and Tucker Carlson’s following. The populist right and populist left have plenty of common ideals that don’t align with establishment Democrats or establishment Republicans… specifically relating to war, speech and govt control. -

Sure, I will… Random iron worker struggles to get by as Biden shovels money over to Ukraine, while barely lifting a finger for Hawaii or East Palestine. Random iron worker sees his taxes eat away at his paycheck, for what?… govt bailouts, welfare abuse, foreign wars? Random iron worker has had the cost of living skyrocket under this presidency. Under Democrat rule, where they paid no mind to the ramifications of spending, while at the same time handicapping ourselves on the global stage by cutting back energy production. Random iron worker sees a government that cares more about illegal immigration they do the plight homeless veterans, let alone his own struggles. It’s no wonder random iron worker tilted the scales in the Rust Belt to elect Donald Trump in 2016 … a man, for all his many faults, at least spoke to them, not at them. -

“Rich Men North of Richmond” doesn’t exclusively apply to Democrats. The populist wing of the Republican Party… which it seems like this guy probably would be classified as.. takes issue with a ton of Republicans as well. Also.. Conflating PPP loans with student loans is extremely disingenuous. Was it abused, yes.. as any govt program will be.. however honest small biz owners were shut down by no fault of their own and in order to receive PPP funding, you had to retain every employee you received money for in order to obtain full PPP forgiveness. That money, for honest folks, went to overhead and employees. -
Isabella shows moves, will he make the roster?
SCBills replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
It seems to me that one of Shorter or Shavers would make it to the PS, if not both, should we choose to cut him. They seem quite similar, imo. Big bodied receivers with some speed. Shorter bigger, Shavers faster. Both were big time recruits that never really planned out in college. Id love to develop both given Gabe’s contract status and us not exactly having a ton of money next year.. but Isabella is certainly intriguing.. especially if Diggs, Davis and Kincaid are clearing out underneath routes. -

Believe it or not… many blue collar democrats have an issue with welfare abuse. Do you think random iron worker in Pennsylvania that works long, grueling hours and comes home to a house he can barely afford is cool with people pretending to look for jobs, getting hired, getting fired etc., to game the system and use food stamps as a means of sustinence - as opposed to a helping hand to get back on their feet? Because it seems like that line is the one that’s got y’all worked up. “Obese milking welfare… taxes ought not pay for your bag of fudge rounds”. He’s right. Everything else about govt control, high taxes etc., is felt by everyone… except, apparently, modern day leftists that implicitly trust the govt. -
DeSantis For President in 2024?

This is the best attack on Trump/MAGA I’ve heard in a long time. Straightforward, while avoiding coming off as antagonistic. -

Richardson was definitely not drafted for his college production. -

I don’t think anyone is really expecting Shorter to show a ton this year. He’s an incredibly raw prospect with size and speed. My only worry with cutting Shakir or Shorter is that we would only have Diggs, Harty and one of those two under contract for next year at WR. We’d be looking at half of our WR room and 70% of our DL rotation not under contract past this season. Ultimately I trust Beane to figure it out, but I’m not sure we want to create more holes than necessary, knowing that next year we have a lot of one year deal guys and expiring contracts coming up … all the while entering the season over the cap. -
I regret to inform you that the Yankee Candles have lost their scent again..

SCBills replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yea.. it would simply be due to us valuing Isabella over him, as Isabella doesn’t cost much. -
I don’t put a ton of stock into Alex Jones reporting that a high ranking TSA whistleblower told him masks/protocols are coming back this Fall, but he’s been right about quite a bit, and…. (Still can’t imagine this happens again though..)

Honestly, why not just cut Matakevich if we want to keep Isabella? Would we have brought him back if we knew of the rule change at the time? Id like to keep Shakir and Shorter given the contract uncertainty of Gabe Davis. Im not sold on either of them, but cheap contracts are going to be big moving forward … it’s the same reason I’d probably keep Boogie over AJE or Lawson. -

Im willing to see how Brown looks this year. Reports from camp/practices have been decent, yet it’s still doom and gloom from so many. In regards to roster churn at Tackle next year .. maybe .. but with Gabe Davis, Micah Hyde, Taylor Rapp and most of our DL on one year deals.. it’s going to be interesting to see how we address all this. Drafting late in RD1 isn’t ideal for drafting franchise Day 1 Tackles. Best bet is for Dawkins to play better in year 2 of Kromer and Spencer Brown to lock down RT… because if not, we’ve got a lot of difficult decisions to make next year.

Something did change … they repeatedly asked Trump’s team to come forth with evidence. Over and over they asked. To the point where “True the Vote” told them to stop asking.. He then realized it was all bs and changed his tune, which drew the ire of Trump, who then tried to primary him with David Perdue.
-
Would feel much better if Peters, even at 41, was in the fold at swing tackle. Round out the room with Tommy Doyle as developmental swing tackle and I feel decent about the Tackle situation heading into the season.

Definitely worth pointing out.. Georgia is still a red state. A shade of purple here and there, but red overall. The conservative Governor won re-election in a landslide. The state legislature is overwhelmingly red. Even on election night, with Trump losing Georgia, the two R’s won their races… however, they didn’t reach runoff avoidance numbers… and that’s when Trump decided to destroy Republicans Senate prospects in Georgia for the past two years by making it about him and not Georgia.
-
Yet another disadvantage Trump would have in a matchup with Biden. No money. Media & Legal apparatus against him. No ability to demand debates.
-
Wake up babe, new variant just dropped…
-
Yup .. and he also signed into law a heartbeat ban, along with being the target of a ton of completely out of bounds national attacks over voting laws. Those attacks from the left. From the right, having to re-establish himself amongst MAGA after Trump tried to primary him. Kemp is probably the most underrated Governor in the country to have these numbers, while surviving heavy attacks from the left and right… all the while, staying true to his promise of being a very conservative leader.

Apparently Trump is going to surrender to the courthouse the day of the debate, then do his interview with Tucker, post-release, that will be available to stream during the debate.

It’s official … Trump/Tucker during the RNC Debate. Can’t lie .. losing some respect I have for Tucker on this one. I get it, with it being Fox News, but I wish he’d be above helping the unelectable front runner like this.
