Okay….So I just entered the entire Schedule into my Outlook calendar. Can somebody tell me why I want to listen to NFL Network talking heads yap about it for hours on end? What a waste of airtime!

With all due respect….so? That just means you start and end with a home game. The rest would all alternate home and away.

Achilles injuries seem to have become the new ACL of the modern athlete. One could say they’ve become a veritable Achilles heel.

We’ve never had any difficulty making travel arrangements for a regular season road game and that includes two trips to London. Not sure what all the stress is about. People travel to these major cities every day for business on much much shorter notice without batting an eye and that’s during the traditional workweek. Go Bills

True, but the drains wouldn’t require a ‘dance floor’. They’re not spaced often enough. But the heating system might. I guess we’re going to see.

While not disagreeing, I believe it’s more complicated than that. Individual teams and the league in general have to navigate a really complex calendar of dates and events. Not every venue is available on any given weekend.

Perfect it’s normally freezing down there by mid September. 😉

What I noticed from one of the videos is that the temporary ‘dance floor’ I mentioned previously runs the full length of the one sideline is actually suspended from the roof overhang. I’m not sure what it’s for but I’m guessing they’re installing some specialty ceiling finish on the underside of the roof. No idea if that’ll be true around the entire stadium but with the speakers already hung in other areas, I doubt it. And they’re starting to install the glass on the exterior of the stadium concourses.

Thats pretty amazing. It means on average the Bills only fly 1,200 miles per road game. That’s something like a two hour flight. Nice!

Awful for who? Their second opponent…, the Browns? I thought we all agreed that it’s preferable to go over there for two weeks like Jacksonville did when they played us.

Who? The Bills or Verizon? You do realize this is how EVERY business works, right? They sell things people want to buy. Not quite sure where people think the Bills get $400,000,000.00 to pay their QB. It’s not from charging you $12 for a beer….thats for sure.

Hanging the speakers is actually more to be expected. In construction you generally work from the top down. It’s so that you can set up scaffolding on the floor below or work off of cranes or buckets without concern of obstruction or things falling and damaging already installed assemblies and finishes below you. Once completed, you don’t want to have to go back up there again. For example, if you look at the field level video you’ll see huge sections of scaffolding in the upper deck that allow them to set up what’s known as a ‘dance floor’ on which workers can stand to reach the underside of the roof. I’m not sure what that dance floor is for. I’m guessing there’s something different on the underside up there along that sideline.

There’s another panoramic video from the field level that I’ve seen circulating on Facebook. In THAT video you can see that the seat brackets are already installed along the entirety of one of the lower bowl sidelines. Way more than just a single section.

I cannot believe that the Verizon dude allowed them to use a blue helmet. Everyone knows their corporate color is RED, not blue, which is their rival AT&Ts color. Someone’s gonna get a talking to.

As you just happened to mention it, the new seat test video is also one of the best representations they’ve shown to date of the extent of the roof overhang. For good or bad.

Again, huh? The moved the schedule release to a traditional DOWN MONTH to fill air time on the television network they own and operate. It’s not complicated. And it’s not a conspiracy.

Huh? What’s ridiculous about it? Would you prefer to just show up at the stadium this September hoping there’s a game and wondering who they’re playing? 😳

It’s not weather that the contractor would be concerned about. The seats are designed to be outside in the elements for many years. It’s breakage from construction activity. And it’s just that sort of breakage that gets into protracted finger pointing between the various subcontractors on the project. As regards the overall schedule, it’s most likely not an indication of anything more than that the seats were ready, and delivered, so the General Contractor elected to take the risk of having them installed ‘early’.

It sounds like a lot but I can assure you it goes really fast. That’s why I’m amazed to see them going in so early. What the construction team is generally concerned about is breakage if they’re installed too early. It’s the same with all finish materials like glass, cabinets, etc.

What I noticed is that this wasn’t just a ceremonial test fit. If you look closely you’ll notice that they have the framework for the entire section’s seats already installed on the precast concrete risers. It’s pretty amazing considering there’s over a year left if the construction schedule.

So by that account we have ZERO chance of playing in a Super Bowl in 2025. In short….we are doomed!

Has to be Peterman. He’s the one guy that would keep Josh on the field no matter how bad any non life threatening injury might be.

We’ve yet to lose a single game this year….so there’s that.
