I have to agree. That price doesn’t seem unreasonable when spread out over the many years of the PSL. Heck, that’s equivalent to only FIVE years of Sunday Ticket. 😂

The street level view shows just how tall the new stadium is compared to the current stadium whose lower bowl is sunk down below street level.

If you don’t want to sit in the elements then I’d suggest you buy seats that are under the roof. Issue solved.

I'm not trying to be disrespectful but it's not about the number of rows. It's about the diameter of the circle and the number of seats. Each successive row that you go out from the center has more seats per row. It's geometry.

Yes, round by round it changes for sure, but about the only somewhat predictable round is the First and maybe the second. After that, EVERY team is essentially picking what they believe are the best players available.

How many times do we have to go o er this? The renderings are deceiving. The new stadium’s roof covers the entire upper deck….and the overhanging boxes cover more in excess of the roof. The Bills design gives fan the choice of sitting in the elements or not. There are people who like both! Tottenham is an English soccer stadium. The Hot Spurs play in excess of TWENTY home games a year, with a significant number during their rainy period of the year.

I’m not taking 3rd string TE with my first round pick just because he’s the Best Player Available. And I seriously the doubt that the BPA will be a WR when we pick at 30.

I think the entire premise is a false choice. Every year there are players that become a significant talent even without being taken in the top of the First Round. The league has plenty of them. I’ve said this before…the Bills need to upgrade their scouting department AND connect them with the coaching staff.

True. My point is that there isn’t an independent investigation by the police or the court. Each side will conduct ‘research’ , more than ‘investigate’, to see what they can discover. …Which is why it’s called discovery, and not investigation.

My experience with civil cases is that there’s very little ‘investigation’. It’s mostly just stacking up expert witnesses.

A civil suit doesn’t involve the police. You’ll just have attorneys for each side asking questions (deposing) proposed witnesses from the opposing side. Those witnesses have to be listed and they may include expert witnesses who’ll testify to things like why people wait so long, etc.

Houston, Dallas, Phoenix and Indianapolis rarely open the roof. And to be honest I can’t recall the other one.

I’m not a lawyer but what investigation? This isn’t a criminal suit. It’s a civil trial. If so you’ll just have attorneys deposing witnesses.

Not to get too wonky but in this country it’s the accused, not the accuser, that gets the benefit of the doubt. Our entire system of justice is based on it.

Every project is different and I have no idea how far along the design was when the construction team signed a contract for the initial cost. There are three categories of cost overruns. The first category is Owner directed changes. Based solely on the glaring lack of renderings it’s more than likely that the INTERIORS of the stadium (concourse, clubs, restaurants) were barely developed at that time but the schedule was such that they needed to break ground in order to meet a Fall 2026 opening. That doesn’t mean that anyone screwed up. I guarantee the Team all knew that much was left to develop but they collectively decided to get started …especially with the hyper-inflationary environment of the last few years. The second category of large cost overruns is what’s known as unforeseen conditions. That’s where the soil is really bad, or the utilities you’re connecting to are falling apart. The final category is outside agency requirements. That’s when the local government swoops in after construction has started and says ‘ya know, we want you to pave the roads for five miles around the site’, or the power company demands that all of their lines be buried or upgraded. In any case, rest assured that there’s a second pair of eyes looking at all cost proposals. The Contractors cannot charge whatever they want. I hope that answers your question.

The term is a Guaranteed Max Price (GMP) contract. I’m not sure that they didn’t. But, even a GMP doesn’t protect the Owner from increased costs due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’, or Owner directed changes.

Again….now what? So now you think someone is over charging for the construction? Then your REAL complaint should be with Turner Construction….no?
