  1. And now the Bills portion has grown significantly. Sounds to me like the County/State wrote a very, very good contract. There are many such deals in which the savings or overages are split between the two partners.
  2. Virgil, it’s a necessity of the design. If you’ve ever been to the Rose Bowl you’d experience the exact opposite. That single deck huge bowl is built right into the ground so by definition it’s very shallow. In fact, when you’re there it’s hard to imagine it seats 100,000. But the new Bills stadium is the exact opposite. It is virtually all above grade. It’s essentially a large steel framed donut-shape building with seats on the inner side. The only way to do it, without having larger than necessary enclosed concourses is to go vertical. It’s just geometry.
  3. Then why file a lawsuit? Why not just resign yourself to the fact that something happened? Nobody is going to convince me that bringing a lawsuit THIRTY years after you allege something happened to you is OK. It’s ridiculous!
  4. Huh? Pegula is paying for everything that isn’t paid for by the state/county. Now, it’s your expectation that he NOT get his money back on ticket sales? Really? Interesting.
  5. Could it be because a civil suit is all about collecting money? Just sayin!
  6. Augie….I didn’t say that’s what it’s about. I simply posed the scenario as a hypothetical that I figured people could relate to.
  7. So someone can wait just to see if someone they met a long time ago comes into money and then bring a suit alleging that something happened THREE DECADES ago. Wonderful.
  8. You’d be amazed by both. Neither feels like you’re sitting under a roof. The amount of natural light coming into the stadium is incredible.
  9. So you grab Grant, even if you have to move up a couple of spots to do it, and then go CB in Round 2. If so, who’s the best Corner (that fits McDs scheme) where we pick?
  10. I still say Kincaid just had to catch the damn ball.
  11. Where did I say he was innocent or guilty? But, there should indeed be a statute of limitations on when you accuse someone of a crime. I’m going to guess the accusers haven’t been trapped on a deserted island or in a coma. And it definitely isn't inherently ‘obvious’ why someone would wait THIRTY years to report an assault.
  12. I’m curious Jack, have you been to Minnesota or Los Angeles? Neither is anything like the domes of the past.
  13. So it’s going come down to who’s available when the Bills number comes up. DT and then CB….or CB and then DT. Potato, potato.
  14. Seems to me the issue isn’t whether the accusers have a claim. The issue is where have they been for the last three decades…..no?
  15. Apparently the accusers didn’t remember him much as a lover.
  16. I have no idea how you put that logic chain together. CB is a four down starting position in the NFL, and you need TWO of them. We currently have one. You believe we should roll some mid-round rookie out there? Would you say the same for any other four down position either on offense or defense?
  17. Thanks. I’m assuming if one of them falls then they probably aren’t the generational talent that many are praying for.
  18. Thanks for putting together a list. So what does it take to get one? On a related note, I’ve seen so many posts, mocks, and lists that have BOTH Michigan DTs taken in Round One. I’m not a draft expert but one has to wonder if it’s like choosing the right “Josh” or the wrong “Josh”. Would the Bills be just as well off by picking the other one at 30 or a little before and seeing how they BOTH work out?
  19. All of my government funded projects came in on budget….and there were literally hundreds of them. They had to. It was written into the contract. That doesn’t mean they didn’t experience escalation and change orders during construction, but they were always under the originally capped funding allocation.
  20. So Gregg…who is that DL player in the 2025 draft?
  21. What’s strikes me is how little time these guys have working together. If this were a company it’d be a rather new ‘start up’. Add to that the same being true of most NFL rosters, including the Bills, and it’s a good thing they where the same gear/uniforms or nobody would know who anyone is. 😳
  22. I was thinking TO as well. I remember him as a bigger beast of a WR in an era that featured leaner, faster guys. Does anyone know how his actual measurables compare to current guys?
  23. And don’t forget about his frosted hair style. What’s up with that?
  24. Unless they’re going to use every single one of their picks on defense I find it hard to imagine they wouldn’t draft at least one, maybe two WRs. Look at it this way, they really don’t need to take a QB, OLineman, RB or TE. So what’s left? WR….seems pretty obvious. No?
