  1. I hope the Patriots asked for the shady side! 😂
  2. Thanks! In this particular thread my pushback is simply that I see the current rendition of the Bills as REACTING not trend setting. I maintain that they had painted themselves into a salary cap corner and are now simply working their way out of it. We both hope it works. As sports has proven time and time again there’s no more than one way to win a championship. It has to be our time once….right? Go Bills
  3. Shaw. I’m not the poster child for anything. I’m just pushing back against your hypothesis. Not sure why you take it as anything else. This is a place for healthy debate about something as trivial as a football team. Relax
  4. Really? Who knew? The point is that it’s not a particularly intriguing National matchup.
  5. I’m still not sure your analogy works but I’ll give you an A+ for sticking by it. The Bills absolutely went the star route when they broke the bank to sign Von Miller after 13 seconds. McD and Beane thought they were one star away from the promised land. It did not work. As I see it they’re simply reacting to that ‘mistake’ in a salary capped world. Doesn’t mean they’re goof balls for trying….but they’re definitely not some sort of a super genius duo.
  6. Must be a slow Week 2. Even as a die hard Bills fan I can’t remember the last time I found our annual trip to the Meadowlands to be all that interesting.
  7. Shaw, don’t get me wrong. I completely understand the point that you’re making. However, to date at least McDs grand scheme (as you’ve scripted it) simply hasn’t worked. Are the Bills a good team? Obviously. But the two-star team of Mahomes and Kelce have knocked them out of the playoffs EVERY time they’ve faced them. Let’s just hope we’ve finally outlasted them and that Mahomes/Kelce are too old by January 2026 Go Bills
  8. How is a 1:00 kickoff of the Bills at the Jets any place for the networks top broadcaster?
  9. I’m not a huge NBA fan but I think what’s being witnessed is similar to the transition the NFL went through after a generation of star QBs got old all at the same time. I remember a lot of NFL fans wondering at the time whether the ‘glory days’ of the league were over. Then, out of seemingly nowhere we got an entirely new set of young star QBs.
  10. Fabulous We’re clearing playing 5D chess here.
  11. I don’t have trouble at all Shaw. I just see zero connection here. Sorry.
  12. Wait! We’re now referencing a completely different sport, that hasn’t yet reached its championship series mind you, to try and justify what McD’s been doing with the Bills, who also has yet to reach the Super Bowl? Really? I’ll chalk this one up to it being the dog days of the NFL offseason.
  13. I used to carry around the stub from the game where we beat Miami to end the decade long streak. The face value for our sideline seats was $13.00. Yikes! I got a kick out of the County Charge on your photo. Erie County was apparently sticking it to ya for 25 cents to pay off the new stadium. Those bastards!
  14. Yeah…but the PSL back then was brutal! 😉
  15. So, greed is confined to the NFL? I actually think it's due to an utter lack of creativity by the Commissioner. He is, and has always been, horrible.
  16. I still believe there should be one bye week for the ENTIRE league mid season. It’s done in all other major sports.
  17. If you look closely you’ll see that the Divisions are all grouped together. Playing those six games against each other influences the strength of schedule more than where you finish.
  18. Preseason will eventually go the way of the pro bowl, the do do bird, and the schedule release show. A total waste of time.
  19. Okay….So I just entered the entire Schedule into my Outlook calendar. Can somebody tell me why I want to listen to NFL Network talking heads yap about it for hours on end? What a waste of airtime!
  20. With all due respect….so? That just means you start and end with a home game. The rest would all alternate home and away.
  21. Four of the first Five at home? Really?
  22. It always seemed like when they threw him the ball....he caught it. Isn't that what one wants from a Tight End?
  23. Achilles injuries seem to have become the new ACL of the modern athlete. One could say they’ve become a veritable Achilles heel.
  24. We’ve never had any difficulty making travel arrangements for a regular season road game and that includes two trips to London. Not sure what all the stress is about. People travel to these major cities every day for business on much much shorter notice without batting an eye and that’s during the traditional workweek. Go Bills
