You forgot our star receiver had 1 catch (a big one) and our star RB had no running room and the OL looked bad again. To me the deciding factor was the 4 sacks and lack of any first down running game, not Allen.

So would having a WR lined up in the backfield or better yet a 2nd RB who can actually threaten a defense.

Tom Brady got flushed to his left and as he side-stepped the grasp of Ed Oliver, Jerry Hughes hit Tom Brady from behind causing Brady’s throwing arm to be caught in Jerry’s grasp. At the same moment multiple Bills players converged on the QB as the ball popped loose. Brady’s right arm was trapped between the converging hits and was bent behind his back at an unnatural angle causing gasps and screams from Brady and the capacity crowd. Players and doctors came running into the field to assist Brady in his utter distress as an ambulance came from the tunnel. Brady has undoubtedly played his last game. As the crowd rose to cheer him one last time, players from both teams came over to wish him well.

Maybe we should start copying what they do on special teams and actually block some punts ourselves. It’s a copycat league yet I can’t remember our last blocked punt. What we can’t hide a player behind another player ? We can’t run our gunners to the line of scrimmage ?? Let’s force them to make plays and call timeouts this time !!!!,

Culture can breed a winners mentality. However, talent wins championships. You need the mentality to know you can win PLUS the talent to win to be a champion. We have the mentality now. We just need more talent.

They are afraid and it is telling. Even on good morning football as they talked about the Bills and Pats....the final add on was “at least it’s at Foxboro”. Hardly confident for the Pats. Half of their strategery is getting people to think they have some Jedi mind tricks. They don’t. It still about blocking and tackling. Line up, play better football and don’t give up the big or dumb play (like a blocked punt) and you will beat them.

No it’s based on statIstics by formation !!!!! For instance they are best against I form and next best against 2 WR plus 1 TE split wide.

KC sucked versus Indy when they were faced with a ball possession team. They can be had if you can run the ball on them. This will never happen but I will take a win in Foxboro anyway!

Actually I think we simply go back to our jet sweep package that we haven’t used in 3 weeks !!! Although I think the wrinkle is we throw out of it. Actually old school isn’t exactly right although we need to run it. The Boston channel said teams running the ball on the Pats do it best with 3 WR on the field. Not with smash mouth.

Listened to WEEI in Boston Podcasts specifically their football show. They split 3 ways. One picks Bills 20-13, one picks Pat 20-17, one says wants to pick Bills but got to cliff edge and can’t trust Josh Allen yet. They said game keys are: 1) Teams that go 3 wide run better against Pats consistently 2) They think Bills will enact some form of Ravens getting Josh to the edge and emphasizing outside run, Josh on the move, options, etc. 3) The Pats have been terrible against the Blitz on 3rd down. They expect us to bring the heat there. They feel Harry needs to make some plays outside for them to beat the Blitz. 4) They feel if Josh keeps turnovers to 2 or less that we have a real shot at winning this game. 5) Field position is key. They think the first game had more to do with the Pats always having great field position vs them outplaying is. In general they think we are better D vs their O and Pats are better in the other 2 phases. We need to be even or better in one of those other phases, specifically special teams to win. Fair assessment all around from a network that is 50 times more homer than WGR.

The funny thing is Pats fans don’t realize the rest of the country hates them!

10% for Fitz playing without fear, 5% because Brady’s OL looks like crap so you can blitz every down, and 5% because their coach will try every wacky play in his arsenal. So 20%...... if we win this week, Bills fans should fly to the game just to root against the Pats!!!!!

I watched that play multiple times. That read was a 1 read play. I was disputing your assertion that Beasley was open QUICKLY which he almost never is. It needed to be a bang bang play because of the day it had been for the O Line. You are right in the future Josh will have more patience but also in the future maybe the coordinator will design a play where there a 2 quick read routes. That offense is failing in lots of ways.

Sorry but Josh had no time all game so he should have sat there and assumed he would have 4 seconds against a blitz so Beasley could do his usual 3 moves to get open? Sorry I stand by his decision that the best WR is supposed to win 1 on 1. He didn’t and that is why the play didn’t work. We need a real WR1 and that showed on that play. I like Beasley but anything beyond 5 yards usually takes him 3 seconds to swirl loose and that’s not a good route for an all out blitz.

I’ll take Tyler Boyd for the last minute upset win again.......Dalton+Boyd can lead the charge at our home playoff game!!!

Embarrassed because I never knew that not only does a TD win an opening OT drive but so does a Safety..I would have lost a big bet on that one.
