  1. That's way too many holes to fill through one or even 2 drafts.
  2. I don't know what's scarier... the fact we still have to play the Pats twice or what a guy like Kareem Hunt will do to us next week when play KC. I'm telling you guys, Hunt may break the NFL all-time single game rushing record next week against us. He may hit 300 yards.
  3. He doesn't. He's always held on to the ball too long. And in the one situation where a dump pass would've made sense, he didn't do it....
  4. Still doesn't change the fact his starting job was taken away from him mid-season. The Bills were willing to throw a 5th round rookie in there over Tyrod thinking ANYTHING has got to be better than THIS. Regardless of how it panned out on the field, that would resonate with any semi-competitive person. If Tyrod is truly a self motivated and driven person, it should really hype him up to make him want to lay it all out there and prove he's worthy of being a starting NFL QB.
  5. I'd take Smith every day of the week. QB's are playing successfully longer & longer, and Smith is only 33 compared to Brees who will be 39 in January. People said Brees was old years ago, yet imagine if the Bills had him the past 6 years! There's a chance Smith could still be playing at a high level until he's 39 or older too (it's unlikely Brees just retires this year), so out of all options available I'd take him 1st and foremost.
  6. The best we can hope that comes from this game is Tyrod got a wake up call and developed a sense of urgency. When you're 3rd & long, dumping off 2 yard passes to the RB while you steadily fall further & further behind isn't ok. Maybe this lights a fire under his ass and next game he tears up the Chiefs (the Giants beat them today, so let a man dream)!
  7. Either we would've given them the ball through turnovers, or given it to them through punts, but either way we'd still be down 28+ points.
  8. Aaaaand back to overthrowing receivers... The QB position on this team is just awful. No, I'm not saying Peterman is better, simply they're both bad. The 2018 draft may as well be our Super Bowl, as it will either set us back 3+ more years or finally lead to us to success for the first time this millennium.
  9. Does he need to in order to stop the run or create pressure on opposing QBs?
  10. Yeah, when the defense gifts you tons of extra drives with most starting in opponent's territory, it's easy to win games. Even with the turnovers, Tyrod would just go 3 & out, but because of starting the drive in FG range we at least came away with points. When he got the ball in our territory, we still punted. If it wasn't for the defense playing lights-out, we'd likely have 0 wins this season.
  11. Can the Bills request to forfeit right now? The score being 37 to 7 would be an improvement over last week, so it'd probably be preferred over what's likely to come given a whole extra half of play.
  12. Hey, remember the MNF game in Buffalo where Tony Romo threw 5 picks and had a fumble against us? Cowboys won that game. There's still hope! (But I'm not watching to find out)
  13. On the bright side, he's already thrown for more yards than Tyrod AND lead our first TD drive in the 1st quarter all season LOL Gotta find the silver lining
  14. I forgot to switch defenses up, and have the Bills D starting in 3 games this week
  15. This is the story of the Bills season in a nutshell...start off with no hope, they somehow surprise you and rattle off some wins making you believe this year could be different, only to slap us back down to reality in unbelievable & devastating fashion
  16. Reminds me of this old ESPN commercial about the Bills... They get your hopes up, just to slap your back into a perpetual state of misery.
  17. It's definitely both. In traditional Bills fashion, get your spirits and hopes up, only to find surprising new ways to absolutely crush it mid season.
  18. Just because Nate is throwing picks, doesn't mean we wouldn't still be getting blown out right now. Taylor's been the the starter for 3 seasons, and hasn't gotten any better since the game he played. When Taylor hits 200 yards passing, it's like any other QB hitting 350+. So for him throwing for 56 yards last game, it's like if Aaron Rodgers threw for 180. Those first couple picks that weren't Nate's fault got into his head. Even the announcers said they're on his team and not him. But now it's all on him. He's mentally trashed. I feel bad he flew his family out to the game to see him start his first NFL game. It's got to be in the back of his head that everyone who supported him & was excited for him is witnessing THIS catastrophe.
  19. Bingo. We need to a QB and the rest focus on the lines. Seriously, if we just drafted straight up linemen and nothing else I'd be completely happy. Trade for some non-injury prone WR's, and you'll see a vast improvement.
  20. According to who? Nobody has ever said that on here. Leading the league in 3 & outs isn't the sign of a good QB either.
  21. It's not like he didn't have his opportunities. He had a healthy receiving corps and was at home last week, still threw for 56 yards. Just because Peterman is sucking, doesn't mean Tyrod doesn't also suck.
