Bills 2nd Rnd pick in 2025 Draft : TJ Sanders - DT South Carolina
Mat68 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the back injury adds context on his play his senior year. Big SOB. 15 to 20 snaps can he be a problem? Will be able to learn from Jones. I like what Buffalo did up front. -
If you think Coleman is slow I have some news for you.

The OSU kid played nickel and some safety.

Spies don't get caught though…

Bond is out on Bond. He is going undrafted.

Bills 5th Round Pick (#1) : Jordan Hancock - CB - The Ohio State

Athlete for nickel and safety. I like it. Imo biggest needs were dline and athleticism in the secondary. Both are filled and then some. -

Saw a profile that had him listed at 280’s and wrote him off. If he plays 300-310 thats about what Daquan plays at. Having penetrating ability and offering pass rush ability is more important. Im good with it. -
Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky

Coming from Troy and Kentucky are not the same thing. Im most optimistic about his zone coverage ability. Normally, guys with Hairstons ability are just told to cover that guy and thats it. Having a college career in a zone heavy defense is a better reflection of NFL football. -

ATL gave up a first to move up. Beane wouldnt do that. Harman and Grant were too rich. Imo Williams isnt those guys. Norman-Lott, Collins, Alexander are all similar imo. DB was a need. Filled with arguably the highest rated player without red flags. 2 second rd picks makes Buffalo in play at any point. Dline is deep. Many have went already. Also, many teams have already drafted edge and interior lineman. Odds are high a few good one will be available. -

Hairston played 80% zone in college. He has the athleticism to play man. He is a prefect fit for zone match coverage. -

Imo it’s an easy fit. Off man and zone is what kept Elam off the field. He is very good at it. -

He led the SEC in picks in 23 but has trouble tracking the ball down field? People are crazy. Watch what he does to Texas with Bond and Golden. Neither can run away from him. -

Johnson and Benford count or no? Cant listen to one report and take it as gospel. Many think he will be very good. https://youtube.com/shorts/8T0A69UiFbI?si=46YeSORXz7-oF45R -

A zone corner is usually that because of physical limitations. Having zone instincts with his athletic ability is a rare combination. With the top DTs gone this is a homerun. -

Idk where I heard it. I listen to too much draft pods. I think Mcshay. Rumor is a degenerative/chronic knee problem. Career is expected to be shortened. I expect day 2 he goes but a time bomb sort of speak. -

Carter has the traits and ability of the all time greats at the position. Hunter playing both ways is very rare. I think playing both will take away from one or both of the positions. Jack of all trades master of none. Now Deon did it with baseball and Db. Could he have played both wr and db full time? Sure. Would he be the same shut down guy? I dont think he would. I think Carter has better odds reaching his potential. Hunter is more susceptible to injury or under development of technique. Hunter lacks the elite speed for either wr or cb. His best attributes lends to him being a technician. I think playing both position lends to a lack of development or technical lapse from fatigue.

Return of the Tre! (Tre White signs with the Bills)

Compete to start. Opens up the first rd. Dont have to draft one at 30. If they like someone sure. Prefer dline at 30. -
Which past receiver would you pick whose skill set this team needs most.
Mat68 replied to JP51's topic in The Stadium Wall
For a few years Moulds was an absolute beast. Paired with Allen would be great to watch. Those scrambles with Moulds down field would be electric . -
I find it difficult for there not to be a DE, DT, CB or Wr at 30. I guess not prioritizing DT waiting til 109 to address it. Now they may get a solid rotational piece there. I think the defensive line greatly improves with a solid 1 tech

Miami Herald: Dolphins players have turned on McDaniel

Seemed inevitable with how fast Fangio wanted out. Respected football guy who thought the operation was a joke and the they were soft. -

Kyle and Sean will run the ball 40 times for 300 yards if you let them. McDaniels doesn’t have the that in him. They are built around a small qb and 2 small Wrs with speed. Get them in weather or under 40 and they get folded up. -
Though unlikely. Omarion Hampton falls to the low 20’s I would move up and trade Cook on day 2. I think Cook is very good and important to the offense. Johnson or Davis might get you 15 to 20 yards Cook could get 30 to 40. To move on it would need to be for more potential. Not many offer more. Hampton qualifies.
