I think the 2000 WS was the third straight Yankees romp in the WS. So, I don't know how the previous two WS TV ratings were affected.

I would think that baseball is regional no matter who is involved. I think that the 2000 WS was the worst rated of all time, even with two NY teams involved. So the Yankee theory doesn't hold much water. But I don't know for sure.

It's a pointless conversation. If the running game isn't working, Allen has NOTHING to work with as a rookie QB. The kid gets the benefit of the doubt as he gains experience while it's McBeane's job to get talent around the kid. Case closed.

Bills fans need to lighten up on their criticism of Allen. He is rookie who is basically a one man gang. He has ZERO receiving help and his line is atrocious. Allen needs his running game for him to be successful as a rookie and the running game has been hit and miss. If the offensive talent around him improves and Allen doesn't, then b!tch and moan.
