  1. Man, I'm gonna miss Tre White. He has such a great attitude & work ethic. And when he was on top of his game, he was right there w/ the best in the league.
  2. Weirdest offseason in ages, imo. Usually, there is a clear "champ" (or 2), but I don't think anyone has moved the needle significantly at this point. It just wasn't a great FA class to begin with.
  3. It's interesting. You have spent a lot of time on here arguing that Mahomes doesn't have much of an advantage over Allen w/ their respective situations. But here, you're presenting the opposite of that.
  4. I get that, and don't have too much of a problem w/ it. I'd probably allow for more of a grace period before getting too snarky w/ fans of a team that my team just beat AGAIN in the playoffs, on their way to ANOTHER Super Bowl win, when that team hadn't gotten there yet. Personally, my sensitivity is still a bit tender after that one, especially when I see Mahomes & Kelce anytime on turn on the TV these days. But not everyone has to be like me. And a lot of fans here are probably well over it by now. I'll probably be okay after the draft. Anyway, all good. I'll try to take your posts & emojis in the spirit of good rivalry talk instead of getting snippy. I might not always succeed.
  5. See? We're not that far off. You said "all day, every day," or something to that effect. Not too far from "not even close." We both have our team-centric opinions. I disagree w/ your Rice/Kincaid comparison. Kincaid is going to be bigtime for the Bills, imo. You think Rice may be that for KC, but I'm not seeing it yet. That's just an unknown on both sides, and we can differ reasonably on that. I don't think your assessment of Rice is way off or anything, but I don't share it at the moment. I have more confidence that Kincaid will have a more productive career. Brown has better #'s, but I see Samuel as more versatile. He's more like Deebo, and he gets better separation - which the Bills sorely need. But I would have been very happy w/ Brown, too. The question originally was "would you trade this whole group for KC's whole group." I just wouldn't. If Kelce was 30, maybe. He's the clear star of that group, but he's getting old. Diggs is too, but he turns 31 this year, and Kelce turns 35.
  6. We shouldn't panic. He could be: - At a sushi restaurant, where you can order "Chef's choice" - Ruminating about the uncertainty of this Presidential election year - Binging "GOT" and has no idea how they're going to wrap it up The possibilities are endless....
  7. @Billl - this is a Bills board, and I'm gonna make pro-Bills posts. I could do without the laughing emojis when I go pro-Bills, on a Bills board. We have posters here who are very pro-Chiefs, so that should at least meet some minimum requirement you have for KC worship on opposing team's boards. And beyond that, I'm sure you can get a lot of pro-Chiefs stuff on, you know - Chiefs boards. Also, I'd be curious why that post was so uproarious. Do you think Rice will ever be as good as Diggs? You think Watson is better than Shakir? Right now - you wouldn't trade Kelce for Kincaid, looking toward the future?
  8. Even if we stood pat right now, we'd be better at receiver heading into '24 than we were last season. What's cool about that is that we're not going to stand pat. This has potential to be the best WR corps of JA's career to this point.
  9. Diggs when healthy is obviously way better than Rice. And Rice doesn't even have the body of work to show that he can be consistent. Personally, I'd rather have Samuel than Brown because of the more versatile skillset - but that one is about even. Shakir is better than Watson, and I'm gonna bet a young Kincaid just about matches an aging Kelce in the next 1-2 years. I certainly wouldn't trade the younger guy for Kelce at this point. So, it's not even close. No way would I trade our group for theirs. And we'll probably get a better guy in the draft also.
  10. It's a shrewd calculation, imo. If a younger receiver can play with a top QB, it's worth taking less money for awhile. It will pay off. Brady made average guys wealthy, and other elite QB's have done the same. Brown will put up huge stats w/ Mahomes and cash in next year.
  11. We filled a need, and so did they. The differences are fairly negligible in the scheme of things.
  12. Well, this would certainly feel much worse if we didn't add Samuel today. Maybe we can snag the receiver they want in the draft, too.
  13. Good pick-up for them. Kind of strange that it's 1 year, but still makes them better this season.
  14. Finally a talented player goes to the NFC.
  15. I'd accept round 2. It depends who is there at 28 in the positions they're looking for - I'd want them to take BPA there (for positions of need). That might be WR, but who knows at this point.
  16. What's the lesson? I still kind of hope we go WR in the 1st, but now it won't ruin me if they go w/ defense - which we also need, and probably more at this point. There will be very good receivers still available in round 2.
  17. I'm thinking this too. The more I think about it - we have that capital to trade up in round 2, and now it feels like we can really beef up the D-line in round 1 & still get a good receiver w/ the 2nd pick, given how deep this class is.
  18. Just checking around - it looks like KC fans REALLY wanted this guy.
  19. This gives them a little more flexibility to go BPA in the 1st. Like others have said, I hope they still go WR in the 1st. But if they don't have a 1st round grade on a guy in that spot, they can go defense, and maybe even trade up in the 2nd for someone they like there.
  20. Was not expecting this. Very good move.
  21. I agree - though this move doesn't really move the needle for them.
  22. He played really well for us last year. Great depth at that position.
  23. We'll trade up in some rounds, or maybe trade for future picks - I can't see us staying put & drafting 11 players. But I'd see something more along the lines of moving up a few spots in some of the early rounds if there is someone they really like. I doubt we trade up into the top 10.
  24. It's not wrong to be cautious, but I haven't heard too many here say we'll struggle for a WC spot. The AFC East simply isn't that good of a division. Miami is our biggest competition, and they have lost as much as we have this offseason, if not more. The Jets w/ Rodgers might be somewhat tough, but I don't see them taking the division. As long as Allen stays healthy, I think the division title is more or less a given.
  25. This is the only one I'm seeing on the 1st page of the forum.
