10.7 should be a chant every time we play the Chiefs.
-
Mahomes has 33 yards.
-
The Chiefs DID NOT BELONG IN THIS GAME. The Bills & Ravens were both better teams. This KC team is being completely out-classed. They squeaked by all season, and it has caught up to them.
-
I'm tired of the "Mahomes is the best" narrative. He's not.
-
Pick 6 Patty.
-
They commented that the defender didn't cross into the neutral zone - but failed to mention that no one moved for the 5 yard penalty to make the kick harder. I'm starting to really buy into the "rigged" stuff.

Sickening.

It's so wrong we're not in this. This should have been our time. -

Are we gonna have to watch Gronk do the goofy frat boy routine for eternity? -

I hope the Eagles looks as dominant as the Bucs did against the Chiefs a few years back. I'll be able to talk myself into "oh, Philly would have beaten us too." Even though that really wouldn't be true. -
I couldn't disagree more. I watched those games. Belichick outcoached pretty much everyone. It was the combo that led to so many titles, but I saw enough of how he'd coach the defense in particular to know that he is easily one of the best coaches of all time, if not the best.
-
Were you watching the past 2 decades? Belichick was head & shoulders above every other coach in the league.
-
This is where I'm at. I'd only go a little further on Belichick - I really like his analysis & seeing him on the shows now. He has a sense of humor that we almost never saw when he was coach, and his knowledge is 2nd to none.
-
Hmmmmmm - not sure about that. Why would I care about a "fan" who would change their allegiance on a dime, or hop on any bandwagon as long as it was in their general region? Philly can have those kinds of fans. Chiefs fans are incredibly annoying in their own right - especially about Josh Allen. It's really never enough for them that Mahomes is perceived as the best - they have to (in general) trash Allen and try to diminish what he has done. Tonight is a no brainer for me. I want Philly in the most lopsided blowout imaginable.

I was going to order Duff's long distance if we had made it. (sigh)

It helps that the rest of America has nothing but disdain for this Super Bowl match-up.
-
Tig was great. I just watched "American Primeval," and that actor played an entirely different character (equally as menacing though).
-
It's challenging to NOT be frustrated by how things played out. That was such a winnable game. And America in general is just dismayed by this match-up - I kind of mourn the loss of a Bills/Commanders game that would have been some new faces & more exciting storylines. Even though they had the better record - we had a better season than KC, and we were the better team. Man, it's frustrating.

I don't get some of the vitriolic reaction from people who thought Lamar should have won. It's not a stats award. In reality, Lamar deserved it just as much as Josh - they both had amazing seasons. It was a coin flip, and even though it's not supposed to matter, I think voters probably considered the idea that Lamar would have 3 MVP's and Josh none, when they're both pretty amazing and have both been great for the league. And this shouldn't matter either, but it's noteworthy - the Bills beat the Ravens in the playoffs, largely because Josh played an efficient game, and Lamar turned the ball over. If Lamar won, I would have been disappointed, but would hardly have been able to say it was some sort of injustice. I really don't get why some fans are so up in arms about this.

I'm surprised by how uplifting this was for me. It was such a good season, and so disappointing to lose the way we did last week. It feels like this is at least something that we can take away from this past year. And for Allen, it's recognition of how good he is & has been - for Buffalo and for the league.
-
Only 50 voters - and 2 of them are Brady & Bruschi? Cripes.
-
I'll probably still skip 'em. It would be nice to hear some kudos, but I'm sure there will be guys who never played the game arguing that Allen shouldn't have won & all that.

Okay, now I can tune out the NFL until the draft.
