I'll tell ya - no matter what happens, I'm glad I have my Bills family to lean on. The people in my life, and on this board, and nationally. We've all been through a lot. I'd argue more than any other fanbase, especially for fans of a certain age. Epic heartbreak. One more wouldn't break us. I just don't see it going that way this time. It has a different feel. We're going to win this one tomorrow.

Agreed. I love how he plays the game. Still, McDermott generally does a good job confusing rookies. I'd feel confident about that match-up.

I believe we'll win the SB if we win tomorrow. But I still wouldn't say tomorrow is the SB - the Eagles are an excellent team, and will be a tough out if they make it. Not so much the Commanders if they win. I respect them, but McD won't let a rookie QB beat us if it comes to that.

This reminds me of when I had jobs where I would just watch the clock all day.

Belichick was talking about homefield advantage the other night. While it exists, he was saying that there were times in the Pats playoffs runs where he felt that they had the advantage on the road, because there was a little more pressure on the home team. It was an interesting perspective. He thought that it might be a small plus for the Bills on Sunday.

Hate to say it - but this sums up so much of how I've felt for years. The narratives are so repetitive and tired - but also so ingrained. I see so many "the Bills can never win it all" & similar sentiments to that. We'll never win a SB, we'll never get past KC in the playoffs, we'll always find a way to lose. It has drained me, and taken some joy out of these games. Feels like finally winning it will be more of a relief - but it will absolutely be so liberating. I think I'll watch the sport like a kid again.

I started reading it. Now I have to go shower. That is the most toxic place in sports fandom, and has been for years. How did they get that way? Sad group over there, for the most part.

It's kind of always there. I think about other things - as we have to in work & life - but it's always hanging around.

We really came close to getting a few more sacks against Lamar, too - but he was just so quick & elusive. Mahomes has some of that, but nothing like Lamar, and like you said his ankle is hurt which could slow him more. That front 4 is going to be huge for us. I have a lot of faith.

If you had told me in August that we'd get to this point of the season with only 1 starter out - I might have actually thrown a party in celebration. This is as healthy as we've been. Somehow, once again, KC is even healthier - but I definitely can't complain.

Even if Benford can't play, it's not like we'd have a JAG coming in for either him or Rapp, or a situation like last year w/ Klein. We have high-round draft picks at each position who bring different strengths to the table & will hold it down fine. Elam has a nose for the ball - he might end up getting a game-changing pick if he's called upon. Bishop is fast & athletic and has gotten good experience in the regular and last week. Still, I feel confident Benford will be out there on Sunday.

I agree that this is Rousseau's time. I thought he played really well last week. He has so much speed for his position - he can chase Mahomes down and make some key plays for us on D.

I still can't believe that this Chiefs team hasn't scored more than 30. I don't feel like this is a game where we need to get all of the breaks or anything like that. We just have to open up the offense and play our game.
