I'm ALREADY annoyed about the "Bills always beat them in the regular & lose to them in the playoffs" narrative. Like Manning never eventually got past the Pats, or Jordan never ended up getting past the Pistons, or basically an endless list of sports narratives being true until they weren't.

I know I'm adding to the chorus - but it would be ridiculous to expect that our passing offense will magically improve once we get to the playoffs and have to face the best defenses in the league in consecutive weeks. This isn't gonna work right now. We're either serious about winning a SB this season, or we're not.

I feel good about this one. There are games where the team hasn't seemed as motivated as usual this year - but that won't be a problem w/ this one.

Not much a D can do when an offense can't stay on the field. Pats had the ball for 13 more minutes yesterday. I'm not saying what Maye is doing isn't impressive. It is. But both Pats fans and the media have taken it not just to a level above that - which would be understandable - but to absolutely ridiculous, hyperbolic heights. It's both comical, and annoying. I don't count a drive for a FG when the game was TIED as a comeback.

Actually not as bad as I was expecting. Just seems like how a seasoned team would act after a game they know they should have won handily & did.

I missed it. But in general, I've been concerned w/ the overall body language of the team.

Do we have an ETA on TJ Sanders' return?

Silver lining there would be that they get the 1st place schedule next year.

I'm really hoping we see a trade for a WR today or tomorrow. It's the only thing giving me a lack of optimism about the Chiefs. Our current WR corps is simply too easy to cover. If they get a more upper-tier receiver, even someone like Meyers, it will make everyone a little better & hopefully create some mismatches. As it stands, our passing game is borderline anemic. And I never thought I'd say that w/ Allen as QB.

I was thinking the same. It seems realistic he could be back for a playoff run - and that's when we'll really need him.

It was incredibly one sided. And fine - it's good OC play calling. But I think Maye is overhyped right now for what he's doing. What 4th quarter comeback did he lead? He had some pretty good OC's during the good Tannehill years.

I suspect teams are waiting until closer to the deadline to drive up the bidding. But fans here will NOT complain if we overpay on this one. He should make a big offer for a BTJ (or any upgrade) that they can't say no to.

That penalty probably cost the Steelers a chance for a comeback. Pretty mindless.

The Bills need a NUMBER ONE WIDE RECEIVER. That will change everything. It will make everyone better.

If we had similar SOS the rest of the way, I'd be 100% on that. Their schedule is just so easy. I still think we take the division, but we left ourselves little margin for error by gifting them that win in the 1st match-up (along w/ some help from the ref crew).

I like how it's coming along. Hairston could really change our secondary, and Hoecht looks like a disruptor. So bummed about Ed. Hopefully he can make it back for a playoff run.

He's throwing the ball really well. But when I watch the highlights, he usually has a clean pocket, and his receivers are more open than any Bills receiver I've seen all season. All the tools - but he has such a long way to go. He hasn't led a 4th quarter comeback yet, and we have NO idea what kind of playoff performer he'll be.

That's great - but when the Browns offense can't stay on the field, and TOP is 13+ minutes in favor of the Pats, it tends to wear down even a good defense.

Pats nation is full of themselves again, unfortunately. The online discourse on some of the general boards is comical. Man, that didn't take long - or much. The entitlement w/ that group is really something to behold.

Call me in denial, but I'm a "jury is still out" guy. I thought the Browns might give them their 1st tough test (I don't count the Hochuli game), but the Browns O was absolutely abysmal today, and lost the TOP battle badly, as well as the turnover battle. They'll have a better record this year than they will next year.

We're literally getting 3 new additions to the defense tomorrow - and I'm going to guess another by the trade deadline. They've looked bad, but they've also been pretty banged up. We don't need them to be a top 5 or top 10 D. We need them to be top 15, and I think that's a possibility if Hairston can shine as a rookie and Hoecht is the guy I think he'll be.

If not for the Hochuli ref crew and Rousseau being Offside, we're likely undefeated and not worried about tomorrow at all. I think the team comes out tomorrow and reminds us that they're still kings of the division and a legit SB contender.

We just got twice as fast in the secondary.

Wouldn't it be awesome if Beane really hit it out of the park on this one, and Hairston turns out to be a top-tier shutdown kind of CB? Still a possibility.
