An extremely high number of guys singed in FA for more than 2 years are not with the new team 2 years later. But it is a mixed bag....lots of reasons guys are available. In general they get over paid.
There are several ways......void years is one way, redoing like this case is another. Rasul Douglas, Austin Johnson, Smoot, Valdes Scantlin are some of the 2025 dead cap.
I did not think Brown had it in him to do this......still they have had these guys for the last two years and have 0 playoff games.....they are dangerous but they lack talent elsewhere on the roster. We will see what happens with Hendrickson.....I bet he gets moved.
I don’t disagree about the goal. Not sure what else to say. It’s a crap sandwich. Beane made his decision with Hecht knowing what he was getting into. Ogunjobi was a surprise. Both these guys are rotational and should not have much impact on wins and losses weeks one to 6.
The goal of OC is points and yards and limiting turnovers not “WR production”. People are so obsessed with wide receivers it gets old. The bills broke their team record for points per game…building the running game was the right thing to do. Always more talent is better but WR is not the make or break for this team ultimately winning.
Big crap sandwich here. Beane had an interesting decision with Ogunjobi but he made his choice. It sucks but the same time nothing matters as long as they make the playoffs then things matter. Understand playoffs are not a given but they can overcome missing these guys for 6 games.
I believe more than 5 or 6 of 10 draft picks will make it. Actually I doubt they actually draft 10, could be more like 7-8 with trade ups but those guys should be mostly be expected to make it. They have nothing in the 7th round. You really need the rookies to stick because that is how you stay competitive long term.
You don't think that would be wonderful? Might be low probability but one can hope. They really need to find a diamond in their first 3 picks....they have had good outcomes with a lot of picks but not a lot of blue chip players beyond Josh....you do get those guys in the later part of the first round and second round, I feel like it is time to hit on one of those.
Anything subjective is absolutley a pandora's box.....they tried it with DPI/OPI and the refs refused to overturn almost anything to the point no on would challenge at all. There are definitely plays that are "obvious" but the challenge comes in the ones that are not as obvious....fans just find ways to say the ref should obviously interpret in the way that benefits their team. I love the way they have fixed errors on the spot with no challenge for non subjective items....they should work to add to that.
