  1. Most trades happen on draft day since many teams have lots of "if xxx is available" scenarios that predicate trades.
  2. Should have specified Passing from the pocket QB prospects*
  3. I think Darnold has the upside to be Rosen with mobility and durability but I would certainly not be unhappy with either. Clearly the two best QB prospects without the risk of Mayfield, Allen or Jackson.
  4. When you are an overweight 40 year old bald guy, you take whatever is left because you have to.
  5. I'll accept it because what I think doesn't matter with what we do or how it turns out. Like everyone else on here, I'm unimportant.
  6. You have to figure that once we get to pick #6 with a QB on the board we still want, we are calling each team holding it until either they take the QB we want or they trade it to us. No way will we sit tight and hope they reach 12 with the entire league knowing they have to jump us if they want a QB.
  7. The internet made cheerleaders obsolete for the creep segment of the fan base.
  8. If they had done that and Kelly bolts to the USFL and Marino doesn't. We probably trade Kelly after the league folds. We also likely never finish low enough to take Bruce in 85.
  9. As I said, I don't necessarily think he will either but people seem to take the pre-draft information as gospel and proclaim things impossible or probable based on an incomplete. (for both good and bad)
  10. Its kinda true that almost every QB taken in the first couple of rounds who isnt a Hall of Fame QB is always a "bust" in peoples mind.
  11. Not too unlikely, anyone who is going to get taken in the first couple rounds obviously has skill and say he ends up getting taken by the Patriots or Steelers and has a chance to learn for a year or two while the Darnolds, Rosens etc get drafted by teams like the Browns and Jets then anything can happen. Just look at any draft and see how the best players from them aren't always taken in the top 5. Talent is littered throughout because players develop differently in different environments.
  12. Not that I personally think so, but in the end he very well have the best career of the bunch. People get too caught up in pre-draft rankings to consider that the best careers aren't always the ones who go first.
  13. I suspect that the opinion of many Bills fans on Rosen has suddenly increased.
  14. Mr. BadLandsMeanie, what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
  15. Funny, I don't remember people crying race when we were ready to run Fitzpatrick out of town for mediocre QB play.
  16. That's your opinion and you are completely entitled to it.
  17. If they can get #2 and get a team to pay up for Darnold #1 it's great value, but as you said there are too many moving parts for Cleveland to mess around with it.
  18. If this is true, there is no way the Browns will go lower than 2 and risk Allen coming off the board too and the Giants know it so they know they have all the leverage to hold #2 ransom. The only way I could see anything coming about would be to bring the Jets into it. If the Jets are willing to jump to #1 and take Darnold, then suddenly the Giants (according to reports) would probably prefer to take a trade down and what better ammo than to drop to #3 ensuring they get Barkley and extra picks while the Browns get Allen with extra draft capital in the Jets trade. But all this assumes the Browns are willing to risk the Giants wanting to deal with them.
