  1. The Jags had an up and coming defence last year. I remember playing them the season before and coming away very impressed with their D. The problem with these guys that make predictions is they probably only watch the prime time games.
  2. Teams with defences as good as our rarely finish with less than 7 wins. We would have to have a lot of injuries to end up with 2 wins. Making a prediction like that shows a lack of understanding about the game of football.
  3. He plays a little bit like Stevie Johnson. Hopefully one of these late round guys develop into a starting WR.
  4. 1) Bills win 10 games 2) Edmunds wins DROY 3)Allen win OROY
  5. It is going to be a big game for us. Our next three games are against much tougher opponents, so we nee to find a way to win that game on the road. This LB unit is going to play great this year. Edmunds, Alexander, and Milano are going to cause havoc behind our revamped dline. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
  6. Was that his rookie season? I’m sure if Brees put up those stat lines in year seven lots of people would want to ship him out of town.
  7. Allen- 14 Darnold- 14 Rosen- 9 Mayfield - 6 Jackson- 2
  8. McGee was probably the best kick returner I can remember since becoming a Bills fan. He was absolutely dominant at it for a few years. I think he was almost as good as Hester, he won't get the recognition though because those Bills teams were brutal. My favorite memory of him was the Bengals game. I actually had him as my defensive player in fantasy football that day, I think he was one of my leading point-getters on the day.
  9. This plus him making some crucial plays on third down and executing a few game wining drives.
  10. While we are remembering McGee, how about this performance. One of the best days for a corner in franchise history. Go to the 9 minute mark.
  11. Actually his analysis was much better than yours. Mahomes does have worse footwork and arm talent when compared to Allen, I don't even think that is debatable. Mahomes is more athletic.....wrong, Allen is far more atheltic and it is not even close Mahomes is more accurate.... wrong again. Both had perceived accuracy issues on tape in the general public but both QBs are pretty accurate. Mahomes showed more inaccuracy than Allen on tape, especially at the intermediate and deep level. Mahomes played better competition...... doesn't matter, Mahomes had huge windows to throw into and his offence was much more talented than the defenses he played against. Allens offense was far less talented than the defenses he played against. Mahomes can read a defense...... wrong again, he played in the Air Raid and it is hard to even find an example of him reading a defense. Allen did this all of the time. Mahomes carried the team..... wrong again, his WRs and RBs were stacked, numerous players on that roster had NFL talent. Coutee for example. It's clear you don't know how to evaluate QBs. It would be hard to find any true evaluator on a reputable site that had Mahomes rated higher than Allen.
  12. I think the WR core will be fine. Sometimes is better to develop some of these late round guys rather than taking a declining vet. The Jets were a good example of this last year.
  13. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000934448/article/patrick-mahomes-practice-struggles-dont-worry-reid Looks like Mahomes is struggling right now. I am not a fan of handing prospects starting jobs. If Allen is our starter he will have won a legit competition. I will take my chances will Allen, he is a much better prospect than Mahomes imo.
  14. That is a rough first day. He had the easiest windows to throw to in the entire draft class. It will be interesting to see how he handles better defences. Looks like Allen is having a much better first day! Hopefully that continues.
  15. There is nothing wrong with the Bills stadium. It’s a waste of tax money to pay for a stadium. They should be discussing this in 20 years, not now.
  16. Allens oline was much worse at Wyoming, he was pressured on 41% of his drop backs. When he was given time he showed flashes of being great at reading the field, unfortunately he was usually having to run to buy time. He also led a 2 win Wyoming team to back to back bowl games, he’s a winner and a competitor. Stafford didn’t exactly tear it up his senior season, but was solid. Stafford also had a stacked supporting cast which made his job much easier than Allen’s even though he was playing in the SEC. Level of competition is vastly overrated when evaluating QBs. The only time a consider it is when you have a high level offense like Oklahoma playing a weak defense. Most of the good QBs don’t come from the SEC and lots come from smaller programs. Allen’s WRs were usually worse than the DBs which is why you see him make more tight window throws than most college QBs. He will probably have more time and bigger windows to throw into at the NFL level.
  17. Benjamin is better than Thomas, Nelson, Hilton, Sanders, Tate, and Cooks imo. There is is no way you can name 14 TEs better than Clay. Benjamin puts up a 1000 yards and 9TDs this year, book it.
  18. You almost have to remove the bubble screens from some of those offenses to see what their real completion percentage is. I remember Geno Smith getting 10 completions off of bubble screens per game.
  19. It’s almost impossible to defend the pick to fans of other NFL teams. The completion percentage puts him in a higher risk category. We will just have to let Allen do the talking for us. Hopefully he has the same rookie season Big Ben had.
  20. Benjamin and Clay are very good NFL players. Clay is a top 15 TE and KB is a top 25 WR.
  21. Didn't see these posted, they were good reads. https://www.cover1.net/buffalo-bills-josh-allen-nfl-draft-history/ https://www.cover1.net/balancing-josh-allen/ This video was my favorite. I don't think ball placement will be an issue for Allen, I think once he starts learning how to read NFL defenses we will have a special player. I have myself convinced we have the next Stafford/Big Ben.
  22. And with that pick we could have taken Aaron Rodgers Also shows that the second round picks we traded to get Allen will probably end up being no-names. Small price to pay for a legit QB prospect. Im also glad we didn’t trade next years first. That can get you in trouble. It would have been nice to draft Rodgers in 2005. 2013 was just a horrible draft class in general. GMs were having to create prospects at all positions. I’m glad the Bills took a shot at a QB and I’m glad they didn’t take Geno. EJ at least had the leadership qualities needed at the position. He will probably end up being a solid backup QB. I honestly think EJ would have been the 9th or 10th QB prospect if he was in this years draft. This was a really deep QB draft this year.
  23. If he can be great on 3rd down and red zone offence he is going to win a lot of games as a rookie. Those were the two areas Big Ben excelled his rookie season. Red zone was probably a big reason Rosen fell in the draft. That is a red flag for sure.
  24. Thats not true at all. Phillips had lots of TFL and tackles at the LOS. He had to play nose against double teams, he did not have many pass rush opportunities. Phillips has more athletic ability than given credit for.
