I'm not willing to say that. This defence is looking much more talented than last year and they played very well last season. Edmunds instantly gives us a good LB core, he is a huge upgrade over Brown. We added two really good players to the defensive line and are returning three starters in the secondary. If Davis plays the way he is capable of, our secondary will be a top 5 unit in the league. We also improved QB, WR, and backup RB. The oline has some question but I think Groy will have a breakout year and solidify the line.

That could be true, let's hope so. Wyoming did lose to one of the worst teams in college football when Allen was hurt. I just rewatched his senior bowl and he looked good throwing to better players.

He was not given as many easy throws as most QBs in college football. Mayfield for example probably had 7 completions on bubble screens per game.

I get what you're saying. There is no doubt that Allen is a risky pick. He is much more talented than any of those QBs you mention and it is not even close. Hopefully, he will be the exception to the rule. Hopefully, we can develop him like Stafford who was a big armed QB with accuracy issues. Stafford was a below 60% thrower for his first 6 NFL seasons pretty much. Mahommes is another big-armed guy with accuracy issues (his completion % was very inflated in the air raid), the jury is still out on him. Favre and Kelly also improved their accuracy at the NFL level, that was a different era though.

Allen seems like a good person. I don't think its fair to judge someone off a few tweets when they were 15. Teenagers tend to be stupid and make mistakes. He is a young man now and seems to have grown up a lot.

He did show really good accuracy at the senior bowl.

I would be fine with that. Wish we kept one second round pick though.

1) Mahommes hardly had any NFL throws on tape. He played in the air raid and have very good WRs. Half of his throws were screens. 2) Mahommes also had many inaccurate throws on tapeh 3) I had a early second round grade on both players 4) Allen went higher in a better draft than Mahommes went. 5) Mahommes has only played one game and still has a lot of bust potential 6) They both are developmental guys with all the tools that need good coaching

He is not a better prospect. He has huge bust potential. Allen is the most talented QB since Cam Newton though.

I already embraced it and changed the profile pic, even though I had him rated as QB 6. I am assuming Beane is better at evaluating QBs than me.

I gave them similar grades coming out of college. All Mahommes did was throw screens in college, you can see way more NFL throws on Allens tape

His upside is probably higher than that, he also has the most downside. I will talk myself into it. I like his personality and talent. I'm going to rewatch film on him this week.

Allen and Mahommes are the same type of prospect. You are kidding yourself if you think otherwise.

That would be amazing. Only the Browns and the Jets could pull that off, haha. If the top of the draft goes like this and the Bills get Darnold/Rosen it will be the perfect draft for Buffalo.
